I already do this.

What that refers to is for renewing subscribers.  I'll reword that.

I can see why you might not want to offer shorter subscriptions than 1 month, but by not letting subscribers sign up on-demand, you might be missing them if they don't come back at the end of the month.

What you could do is allow a new subscription to pay for the days remaining of the current month (prorated) plus the full amount for the following month.

good question.  i'm a believer in Austrian Economics and believe that freedom for individuals comes before big gov't and corporatization.  perhaps it has to do with my very modest upbringing and that my self created wealth comes from operating a successful small business.

as you know, i used to be a be pm holder but have exchanged most of those holdings for btc which i believe has much greater potential.  yes, i think an individual btc could go to the moon.  so that's one reason.  the second reason is that i'm a capitalist as well and believe that hard work should be rewarded.  i spend so much time studying the capital markets and Bitcoin that i would like to share that information which i think has tremendous value.  and while you're right, i don't need the extra money, it helps to know that people are willing to compensate me for my insights.  i don't like being taken advantage of.

i have shared alot of good general investing information here and yet i got and continue to get all sorts of trolls and skeptics who constantly attack me for my message.  its rare that someone will actually step up and agree with me.  thus, its hard to tell whether i'm having a positive effect or if anyone values my thoughts.  so my subscribership tells me that i'm appreciated by at least those people who are willing to pay some btc.  i see it more as a voting system for approval of what i have to say.

i also want to make sure the primarily younger generation of ppl here aren't taken advantage of by the Wall St punks who are in the business of stripping investors wealth thru the stock mkt.  if i can keep them out of trouble with stocks perhaps they'll be able to continue helping the Bitcoin economy along.  

i also have young sons who i care for very much and hope will live the life i've been able to create for myself thru hard work and opportunity, not handouts.  that opportunity won't happen unless we change this country in a major way.

i see Bitcoin as a shining opportunity for the future that may offer the world a way out of the fiat currency mess we find ourselves in.

i hope that clarifies things.

cypherdoc, I follow your posts with great interest, but I have one question. You already make so much money, why would you care about a few lousy btc selling your subscription service?
