I see a lot of different forecasts, but all these predictions are basically ordinary guesses that have nothing to do with reality.

I don't believe such claims. Though I personally want dollars to collapse and crypto to prevail but fiat currencies like USD has been there for a long time and they are also well adopted by the users right now. I don't see any possibility of a sudden collapse of such large economy which will cause people to move to gold or bitcoin.

Just because he is a writer of a bestselling book I wouldn't take his words for granted. Cryptos definitely have the potential to turn up as an substitute of fiat currencies but honestly, I don't believe it is so easy to replace fiat that too USD which has the strongest structure among all other fiat currencies in the world. The scenario might arise in the distant future but right now, I don't feel there's a chance.

Fiat money won’t be leaving us anytime soon that I can guarantee. And credit/Debit cards are here to stay for while too. Even if bitcoin is accepted as a mode of payment, people will still use fiat money. Even if bitcoin isn’t accepted as a mode of day to day payment, people may pursue it as digital gold. Collapse of such a huge economy will surely hurt different parts of the world.

Robert Kiyosaki has always been critical of the dollar bill or fiats, his argument is that it is not backed by anything, just some colored painted paper that will eventually give way for something with actually valuable. Government kill printing money , killing earlier printed ones by a process called inflation

Interesting news to share. In my opinion, this sounds nothing more than just a dream. I don't think the world is ready for the disappearance of the dollar and acceptance of crypto, its way too sudden and soon.

The masses will not move into crypto if the collapse happens in 2018. We need more time to get people comfortable with the technology. I'm afraid most will turn to gold/silver if the collapse were to happen this year.

I have heard so many forecasts from these so-called experts for so long that it is absolutely impossible to form an adequate criterion regarding the medium and long-term perspectives in this market based solely and exclusively on these opinions.
What I do believe is that cryptocurrencies came to revolutionize the way things are done, and their gradual integration into our daily activities does not necessarily imply that they are an ideal scheme to amass great fortunes as people used to believe until now.

I think this is kind of impossible to happen. People have very much faith on fiat dollars and crypto currency is very much new. So there is an issue of trust and security among the people around the world to accept crypto currency over fiat currency

I don’t think government will let that happen. It has control over fiat dollars but won’t have any control over crypto currency. And crypto currency is very much new to people around the world. So I think they won’t accept crypto currency over fiat currency quickly.

I am not agree with writer because bitcoin is decentralized currency and most of peoples still trusting on fiat currency because all financial market is depend on Dollar also bitcoin is in its new generation and most of governments are not accepting and regulating cryptocurrency but i will be happy if this prediction happen but write need to research first.

In my own opinion, it’s way too exagerated to say that crypto will replace fiat dollar because dollar is so prominent and stable in the world market. Crypto is volatile and some centralized coin in crypto make no difference, so dollar will still be the main currency that people can depend on. That is someone's analysis, and I'm not sure the dollar will collapse and will be replaced by Bitcoin. if you can be honest, I prefer bitcoin and this dollar goes together, without dropping each other. Bitcoin comes as an alternative currency that provides a lot of convenience compared to Fiat Money like dollars, and bitcoin is present not as a dollar destroyer.

If that really happens it will be very good. But, I highly doubt that anything like this will happen in the next 5 or ten years. Because at least 70% of the people of the world are still is not aware about cryptos.

The government, which is stable, backed currency is still the best means of trade today. We can't hold to bitcoin's promise too early that we might have markets collapse onto something that is not stable.
For me, it's fine that we can use bitcoin as an alternative currency than fiat. Not to actually replace it.

i don't really follow it since it doesn't interest me but at least i remember it this way. every now and then i read a new thing about someone predicting the collapse soon and nothing comes.

There is always a prediction. Recently The Rich Dad Poor dad Author gives a warning of the upcoming crash. Well, cryptocurrency is getting popular and there are sophisticated apps already being develop and used. I think we are getting there, the Rise of Crypto.

many countries are banned the crypto currency and as this currency is new in the currency market and being popular day by day .that's why the the government can not trust blindly on it. maybe that's the reason writers such thing.
