I've have released a live demo for this project online. I would really love for people to test it out, and give me their responses!

You can find the demo here

Yes okay it's new I see but add images there it wont take long, when will you let us pvp ?

I'm still wondering if I'm going to release it or not. Just waiting to see a larger proportion of interest.

I checked it out. I think its a good idea. If you think about it it's kinda like 0 and X"s.
You should do it.

Thanks for the support Jason. hopefully more people might find it interesting Wink

No problem. I'll check in here again in a week or so, so keep us posted.

Like some otheres here mentioned I think this concept would be fun only in player vs player cases, like screen is split in two and you can see both your and your opponents time, scores and of course boxes so you can see in realtime whether you're winning or not, the one who wins of course takes all deposites minus house edge (5%?)

Hi mkr Thanks for the support.

You're absolutely right! I also believe there should be some sort of feature to let you see who's winning (if they're not distracting you by talking) Wink nice idea

I think you need to update the design/look in a bad way.  It is very plain.  I don't have any interest in playing it just because of that.  I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but that's what people do.  I saw the pictures and scrolled right on by the explanation.

Hi Raibow, thanks for the comment

I have produced an update just for you

Please take a look and give us your response. Hopefully more users will make more suggestions, so we can tailor the UI/UX experience Wink

Lacks the UI to keep the users hooked for a good amount of time. The model is basic and working that is okay but you need to improve the game in terms of animations and user experience in order to provide that game experience.I know people will play here just for earning coins but getting them hooked with a dull UI is sort of a trouble.Next thing you need to watch out for is the google's terms and conditions.Several bitcoin games have been blocked before.

Thanks for the comment Joel, I really appreciate them Wink

I actually thought this was going to be a mobile App (Which would have made the UI complex to design), but more people are actually in favor of a HTML Web APP, so luckily we don't have to deal with Google.

For now, I don't wont to go on, on how the Web versions UI\UX will blow your mind (you probably wont believe me Wink, after seeing the mobile UI) but believe me, it'll be unrecognizable!

Interesting concept, what the house edge? well i'll play your game once you have the web version ready. also you need to advance/improve the visuals.

Thanks lite for also taking an interest Wink

Since you're playing another player, it would always be 50/50 chance of either player winning.
For the game itself, since there's 4 cards, and 1 right answer, you have 25% chance of picking the right answer, throughout the 5 rounds.

Ahh for the visuals, its actually way easier to do this on the web. I'm just happy more people want this version, because it would be epic.
If there's no house edge involved then how will you make money/manage the website/app. will you be paying for servers out of your own pocket?

Hi lite thanks for the question Wink

We charge a 10% fee to the winner (if there's one) from there, 5% should be deducted as donations, 1% every week would be used as a jackpot ... So on and so forth.

Hopefully I answered your question and didn't confuse you?

One problem is that your game is not provably fair. The owner could pretend both players lost and bank the money, so unless you build a provably fair implementation into it the owner will have to demonstrate their trustworthiness in order to attract players.

Also I would recommend you build it as a mobile friendly web app instead, as few people will be willing to install a game like this. An advantage of that is that people could still play from a computer or non-android phone. Also you are already building the server-side stuff in PHP, so why not the client too, it will avoid some complexity.

Hi greyhawk,

Thanks for the help, I think someone also asked about this above.

Before the game starts, we'll show some hash values, with a hashed salt, on a display, which would prove the position of the coin in each box, for each round. and then release the unhashed salt, to prove it equals to its hashed value ...

For this project, I'm aiming at developing an interesting, fun, pvp game, which is absolutely transparent. So any other way/suggestion to make this happen would be absolutely great!

Concept is good but the only problem i am seeing is you need to have lots of players online so that whenver anyone comes to play he will get other competitor players. Game looks simple in screenshot and your explanation but i am not willing to download any app as my mobile have bitcoin wallet in it.

Hi mobnepal,

This is a common response and personal preference I've been hearing. I guess i'll follow up on that and only release a version for the web, which can be played on all platforms.

Thanks for your opinion, I really appreciate them.
