The Bitcoin Foundation should do something about this.

They did. Various people from the Bitcoin Foundation warned against investing in Pirate. They were ignored and in some cases abused by Pirate's victims.

I think they did enough.

I mean more, about the punishment. For example, research, guide and organize the victims how to use the existing regulation system and legal enforce system to chase Pirate40, or research how to put Pirate40's scam activity into his personal credit reports, etc.

Except that some of the victims are feared with the potential legal risk, like IRS issue, why the victims did not go to SEC to send priate40 in jail?

If you have lost your money, and you now accept that, I think that's fine. But please do not accept that a man can scam the whole community but without being punished.

I'm not a victim of Pirate40, but I am a member of the community.  I wish we can made Pirate40 spend some years in prison. 5 million fraud. And we let him run away with that? No, that's not I know about America or nglo-Saxon or any other modern civil.

If we lose 5 million, we should at spend 1 million to punish the Pirate40.

The Bitcoin Foundation should do something about this.

There is no IRS issue for the most of the people. You dont have to file your 2012 taxes yet. And I doubt a lot of money was made in 2011.

So i went by the broad leaf address, the shavers actually live at 608 Broad Leaf.

Dunno what to do now that i have this new address.

How do you know that they live there? I mean, did you actually check something?

First I went by the 2305 S. CUSTER RD APT 1902, MCKINNEY, TX 75070-6222 Address, Current residents have been there 6 months.
So I went by the 514 broad leaf address, the shavers actually live at 608 Broad Leaf.

The house is owned by a Theodore Shavers.

His parents. Can't really do anything to them legally and they already know about Trendon's business.

Yeah, I saw this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/trendon-shavers-family-contact-made-109126

I was encouraged in IRC to scope out the address.

BCB's doing quite a service to the community here. Why don't you do something productive than just giving snide comments here?

I do productive shit. That's why I don't have to pretend to be a maverick TV detective on the internet.

.... or pretend to run a stock exchange on the internet (Nefario) ...

Can we get one of these threads for this guy?  I'm tired of waiting on his incompetent ass to release shareholder data.  I think this thread and BCB's efforts have been quite effective in solidifying and concentrating the details around the Pirate case.  If a Nefario one were opened, I'd for one would be willing to donate to it.

Where is the pirate bounty?  None of these free-market people are going to do a damn thing if they can't earn a buck off of it. (sad, imo, but there it is)

What actions would people like to see in regard to the Pirate situation?

Pirate porn would be good.

I do productive shit. That's why I don't have to pretend to be a maverick TV detective on the internet.

.... or pretend to have a wife on the internet (AugustoCroppo) or pretend to run a stock exchange on the internet (Nefario) or pretend that I'm a rock star on the internet (Dank) or pretend to be some kind of captain of industry on the internet (dozens of people)

In fairness though, BCB is actually pretty good at catching kids who try and scam on the forum. I dunno if there's a lot of real detection work going on, but he's at least a little bit more intelligent than the scam victims and puts the time in.

But if he's going to go around talking like a cheesy TV detective or some kind of Captain Ahab character with Pirate as his white whale, than he should expect to be made fun of, because pompously puffing yourself up like that is pathetic, no matter who you are. It would be pretentious and ridiculous even from a real police homicide detective so why should some guy on a forum get away with it?

If BCB brings Pirate to justice then I will be impressed and I will be the first to congratulate him, but I don't see how he can. Make no mistake though, BCB's real motive for doing this isn't a sense of justice, it's a desire to feel important and clever.
