This situation is appropriate to make even the senior players panic, the price of sliding down is lower than predicted, there are many outstanding reasons that I think are confusing the atmosphere, I feel less confident to suggest you HOLD for longer, but that is the way one the only thing and not just an option to keep prices from dropping even though it needs to be mentally steeled for that, this situation indeed makes many loyal investors disappointed, hopes that there will be good news at the end of the year it feels very unlikely

The market starts scaring the shit out of me. What the hell is wrong with the cryptocurrency market? What on earth is going on in the cryptocurrency market? I used to justify the recent market crash as a 'fake dump' but now it starts freaking me out! So, where do you guys think is the next bus stop for bitcoin? I'm thinking isn't this beyond 'hash wars' or Bakkt launch fake dump by the whales?

It might be hurting your or anybody's portfolio, but it is an opportunity, isn't it? Bitcoin hasn't been that cheap since September of the last year. If you believe there is a value in Bitcoin, simply buy  Wink

yes, basically, this, I have been buying lately, not madly, just buy more as it goes down, I hold a long term view on this, although something is not right with the market, I guess its a cataclysm of many factors and cannot be finger pointed to one thing, I did buy a bit at the 6k mark, but I never put in what I can afford to lose, it will pay off, might take most of my life but it will get there lol.

I think there is no need to panic, the rumour said that this happen because of the manipulation and the hash war, so the situation is going to be temporary, I think the price will fall down around $3000 before it is going to go up, but for sure bitcoin is not dying and we dont need to make other people panic

I think that there is no panic on the market. Whales run all the processes of trading on the market and artificially lowered the price to try to lure the bitcoins from private investors. Huge money has been invested in the cryptoindustry, and this money will work very much so that means that the market will soon get a bullish trend.

Only the bitcoin holders will understand their pain of now since the prices keeps falling everyday and no one can say when we will reach the bottom to bring the new investors to invest again so just hold the coins and lets give some effort as much as can to increase the prices again.

If you take the situation from last year, the price of bitcoin was inflated to $ 20,000, and what is happening now is the correction which goes in during this year.
I think the price will fall to 2.5 - 3 thousand, and then there will be growth. So in the current situation it is not necessary to sell and buy while you think is not worth it.

The price of Bitcoin in the $ 4000 position will end I think this week, so don't panic, stay focused on investing as much as possible and collect Bitcoin as best you can, I'm sure this year will end the $ 10,000 bitcoin...

It is unlikely that the price drop will end at 4000, with the current panic in the market. and the fact that we will see growth by the end of the year it is likely to happen but that's how much growth is not unknown.

Well, the current market situtation is this:
People, who are freaked out, just like you,are selling all their coins. This leads to more people freakin' out, which leads to more panic. It's a snowball effect.I assume it will stop somewhere around Chritmass, but the prices won't recover in the next 6 months.

Yeah the poll shows it all. And I can only think about one thing -we all heard hundred times already that "wall-street" capital is coming to bitcoin and crypto community, I would now be surprised that this is another manipulations of those whales. Learn it guys- whales buy cheap. Ones they fill their pockets we may expect the rise.

This is simply just the bear market manifesting on the market right now, and this is not about Bakkt delaying launch or the hash wars on the BCH fork; this is uncharted territory that we're staying at and it could still possibly fall from here. I'd still like to think that $3200 will be the lowest we will ever see on this cycle but then again signs are telling us that it could still go downhill from here. The market doesn't seem to exhibit signs of being oversold and there seems to be a lot of coins to be offloaded still. Even the world markets are experiencing some sort of downfall after the Black Friday, so I guess it's usual for traders to cash out during these times of the year.

this is too scary. Bad news will be heard at the end of the bear market. No investor will continue to buy coins and the coins will continue to depreciate. This may be the last chance for Bitcoin to get on the bus, but now the risk is very high, I choose to watch.
if we use another side opinion about current bearish market we should look at this is as best opportunity to invest our some money in bitcoin and altcoin.only more patience till bitcoin reached deepest level and we buy it.

Fall and more fall. So will the rise and further rise will happen but when it is just a question now in the market as December is near and will it be the best month for the entire year for all the investors and traders. Also it is the time to buy at the lowest rate with this further dip happened yesterday.

clam down dude.
Almost had me chuckling on that one, dude.

this is just the bear market playing out, in bitcoin's typical fashion: emotional, volatile, and unforgiving.
Word up.  As we say in the states, if you can't stand the heat, get the F out the kitchen.

Why it is that people don't see this as a fire-sale opportunity to buy bitcoin is beyond me.  All I hear is bitching, wailing, and gnashing of teeth over the recent drop.  Yes, it's a severe one, but it's not the end of the world.

it was never about the bcash war or bakkt delaying their launch. this is just the bear market playing out, in bitcoin's typical fashion: emotional, volatile, and unforgiving.

a lot of investors, old and new, were clinging to the $6000 bottom. now they're losing hope and finally exiting the market. it's a natural part of the cycle. hopefully we'll find support in the $3k area. all i know is, we haven't bottomed yet. when bitcoin bottoms, it snaps back hard and the whole market is left chasing.

I never thought of it as a fake dump, we've seen it falling from $20k down to $6k and that's no joke at all.

Don't forget that it's not only crypto that's going down now. Don't be scared, we are sharing the same fate with the usual traders out there. Check out the news about stock market too.

No big deal and there is talk that the price is going further down. I usually
make a little buy order at the end of most weeks but this week I have held
off to see if there will be a further slide in price so that i can get more
