If you are trusted, then I think he will send you the amount before you put the avatar, so there shouldn't be a risk that way .

Wow that is crazy , Why didn't you guys just higher an escrow or someone trusted to handle the campaign for you ? Anyways, I am guessing he lost the money back to moneypot, as you wouldn't know he lost it otherwise.

At least make the avatar campaign add an avatar to a users' existing one like mine. :-/ I might need to start one now
Don't worry. I don't think rates of this campaign are good enough to made people give up on their avatars. I think avatar campaign make more less payout than renting participant's signature because we can't make a link on it
i know, in fact with signature you can make ten time the amount i'm proposing(1 btc per month), so 1/10 should be about right imho
I can definitely see sig campaigners rejecting people with sold avatars, like marco is doing (it's marco, not macro, by the way) with bit-x. I actually kind of like that, but it will probably end up with each sig campaign giving out a bonus for their own avatar ad. It'll be interesting to see how everything plays out in the long run.
