A question to Urs Moeckli:

What countries you do not ship orders to?
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, India, Iraq, Ireland, Lybia, Netherlands, Nigeria, North Korea, Norway, Pakistan, Portugal, Seychelles, Slovakia, Somalia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland

Why do you not ship to these destinations (which include a great many major European countries), and do you have any plans to remedy that situation?

Yes, I am curious why "theswisspharmacy" won't ship to Switzerland ...

Where are the good drugs, like Hydrocodone, vicodine?

Silk Road?

Online pharmacy should have them, I'm not in need of them enough to go to SR Tongue

The comments in Jon Matonis's aforementioned Forbes article have links to a couple of other online pharmacies that also accept bitcoins. You could check if they have what you want. The Swiss Pharmacy does seem the most legit of the bunch, though.

However, like many online pharmacies, their credit-card processing can be unreliable, so it's nice to have an alternative that accepts bitcoin.

Jon Matonis just wrote an article on this:

Quote
In June 2011, Visa (and Mastercard similarly) made a series of changes to their operating regulations and explicitly classified pharmaceutical-related merchant category codes as “high-risk” along with gambling and various kinds of direct marketing services.

Ordered May 31 and paid with bitcoins.  Received June 27.  It arrived in a plain brown envelope from India.

The product seems fine.  It is generics, and not name-brand.

In the past I have bought my meds from inhousepharmacy, and usually receive it within 2 weeks.  However, like many online pharmacies, their credit-card processing can be unreliable, so it's nice to have an alternative that accepts bitcoin.

I will consider ordering from theswisspharmacy again, as long as it's something I don't need sooner than 4 weeks.

So this "swiss" pharmacy doesn't actually ship to Switzerland? lol

Switzerland has a few duty free zones. Businesses located in these can serve online clients, but typically can't trade outside those zones. That's how it works for a variety of online cigar vendors anyway.

It seems like, at best you could hope for "Unapproved" status, as they won't approve any pharmacy not physically located in the United States. So, I wouldn't worry too much about LegitScript.

Per http://www.legitscript.com/pharmacies/standards

My bet is that they're also not going to approve any pharmacy selling generic versions of drugs still under patent in the US, even if those drugs are out of patent in the countries where they're being manufactured/sourced and they're manufactured to the standards of other Western FDA type organisations.

The Casascius 1oz 10BTC Silver Round (w/ Gold B)
My order to the Swiss Pharmacy arrived safe and sound!  (Item was shipped from India, since that's where I believe the "Swiss Pharmacy" is located, but all items received were genuine GlaxoSmithKline pharmaceuticals)

John "The Pig" Horton is quite a piece of work.

Just another scumbag American politician wallowing in the mud bath of tax money and private money mixed together!  Land of the free and home of the brave, right?  LOL.

"LegitScript was founded in 2007 after its president, John Horton, saw what a huge problem rogue online pharmacies were from his work at the Office of National Drug Control Policy in Washington, DC. He left government to form a private company that would tackle this issue."

So- we have a former federal bureaucrat who is now a puppet of the American pharmaceutical companies, the greediest, sleaziest individuals on the planet.  And he is "helping" to "protect" consumers from these awful online pharmacies that just happen to sell for a fraction of the pricesof his thieving bosses.

Seems like they really have your best interests at heart!  If they say theswisspharmacy.com is "Rogue" then they surely wouldn't lie, now would they?

Except that I have used this company and will continue to use them because they deliver quickly, respond to any questions I have, and the medication that I purchase meets my needs for a fraction of the price that I would have to pay from any bricks-and-mortar pharmacy.  The choice is plain for me.
