So your bitcoin journey started three years ago or you just started from now while it is your three-year anniversary of learning about bitcoin. You don't give us a clear idea about your journey.

You can overcome the fear of anything by doing research about it. If you do your own research about bitcoin you are clear that bitcoin is not a scam. Many people use bitcoin as a payment method for scamming but that doesn't make bitcoin itself a scam.

For me I discovered Bitcoin on my own and didn't have these fears as any liabilities were going to be pinned on me, but something I have realized about bitcoin and people knowing it through a friend or something always comes with fear of being scammed and the alike...Which begs to ask the question if our friends aren't trust worthy to help find these hidden treasures..?

Sorry mate, but interest in bitcoin alone won't bring that larvish lifestyle to life without any kind of investment,  let's not paint a picture of Bitcoin making people magically rich...Technically it did but if you compare early adopters of BTC, some knew of it and didn't invest and those that did and held were  rewarded handsomely...So this shows that our decisions and a bit of investment is the key to success when it comes to cryprocurrencies.

The majority of people had similar thoughts, which is why many people delayed investing in bitcoin earlier; they thought it was only a Ponzi scheme and couldn't risk losing money by doing so until they had a thorough understanding of what it was all about. But some people haven't yet given Bitcoin a chance since they still think it's a fraud and aren't willing to risk their money. I'm sure such people will come to regret it in the future.

If you really want to learn about bitcoin but don't have anyone to help you, you can still learn about it by reading some PDFs, watching videos on YouTube, and conducting more research on Google. The fact that your friend isn't there shouldn't stop you from learning more about bitcoin, since you are already in the forum, then you can learn more about it here.

Most of us on the forum including myself didn't take Bitcoin seriously when we first heard about iit (myself included) because if we took it seriously, I believe we'll be better than were we're today. I don't believe in opportunity coming but once, I believe in opportunity coming multiple times but it takes a determined person to notice those opportunities. The opportunity would come in different forms which is why it takes only a determined soul to notice them. Now you're on the forum, that's another opportunity altogether and if you follow it up you'll look back years later and be happy you put effort into building yourself. Investing in Bitcoin doesn't require you to learn anything extraordinary about Bitcoin.

I'm wondering which knowledge you're waiting to acquire before you start investing in Bitcoin. Investing simple means buying Bitcoin, the forum has all the knowledge you can ever ask for and if you search and don't find what you're looking for them ask questions and you'll get responds to your question. You've come at the right time - I didn't think you were so late. Right now, go to the market, use your investment budget wisely and do the analysis to get the best price when you buy it. If you haven't already - do so now because the recent dips is the chance to buys bitcoin in low price than a few months ago.

Be a long term holder, do DCA if you have the extra budget - in the future halving will allow you to get a worth it return on your investment.

anything that involves money is sure to be worrying, especially for those who have never known about the new thing they are going to do. it is very natural when new people get into crypto and try to invest and learn about Bitcoin. Of course there are still many opportunities and now in my opinion is a good time to start entering, but before that do some analysis first. entering at any price on Bitcoin is profitable over the long term. Bitcoin journey is still quite long. and many new things will of course be found through this forum.

That is one advantage of FOMO. It attracts newbies to the bitcoin community but the irony of the case is that many newbies attracted by FOMO, ends up missing out of the opportunity of bitcoin. They do so by investing in shitcoins, and after some times, they will realise their mistakes and come back to bitcoin.

At least you're now here. It's common for others to take some time before finally deciding to start investing and learn about Bitcoin after being introduced to it. It's mostly because they are afraid of risking or they worry about being scammed but it's normal to be afraid since it involves money.

The best course of action is for someone to conduct their own research, especially on any business they may be introduced to, rather than being afraid of being scammed. If someone has previously fallen victim to con artists or hears constantly about how people are being scammed through online investments, they are likely to believe any online business or investment easily.

You missed your opportunity, you failed to take the initiatives when your friend relocated and it's your third year of knowing about the opportunity on Bitcoin if financial gain is what you want.

The good news is you're not really that late, all the materials you need to fully understand how Bitcoin works and its achievement and what is the right way to invest are all available now.

So you are here because of FOMO, it’s okay to be drawn to bitcoin because of the success stories of others and yes there is profit to be made from bitcoin investments that doesn’t mean bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme. It’s never too late to get into bitcoin, you don’t need a physical person to guide you, the world has gone digital and you can find everything you need on the web. You can learn from youtube videos, GitHub and of course bitcointalk, there are tons of materials here that can help you get started, just use the forum search engine.

I don't understand why you think you missed anything with Bitcoin? Bitcoin is here, and will be there for years to come, and you are not late for anything
