What is too much of a newbie to do is to poems for the recently deceased, now that is what I call literally amongst the lowest of the low in the search for merits to rank-up accounts. Somehow you still managed to receive a couple of merits for that tactic but personally in my opinion it was gutter-level opportunism on your part and that shows what your end-game is here.

Your low quality posting has nothing to do with my understanding of you being alt-account. There are some giveaway signs in your post history (no, I will not elaborate).

As you have not received any merits for this thread when that was the intention all along, the common sense approach would be to lock it before you bring more attention to yourself by members that would otherwise have not even noticed your Mia Chloe account.

I have read through some of your posts and have no doubt you are an alt-account and am in doubt whatsoever that you created this thread for the sake of trying to get merits. As you can see, that has not happened (as of yet) therefore my advice is to lock the thread. Having a logged-in time is not really something worth celebrating or announcing.

While we are here, how many accounts do you have and would you be kind enough to post the names?
This isn't the first time I am getting this false accusation.you accuse me of being an alt yet without any proof just only because of my post quality. You know many times here people say what they don't actually mean, like established members often complain about low post quality of most newbies but it's so unfortunate that when these newbies buckle down to actually learn and progress on the forum they get accusations from members with your mindset instead of encouragements. If you were to observe closely you would notice that although I joined this forum MAY I wasn't properly active until about September this is because I used most of my free time to surf the forum reading rules and other quality posts so I would get a clear understanding of how things work here. My question is that too much of a newbie to do JollyGood?

Congratulations OP for being active for a week on Bitcointalk which's a good sign that you're a good and active member of the forum.

Total time logged in can be easily manipulated by opening your account in multiple browsers and requesting pages periodically either using a browser-level automation tool like iMacros or using a bot.
I think doing something like that to increase your total logged in time on this forum is the worst thing that anyone can do. An active member of the forum don't need to do something like that only for sake of appreciation. I'm currently using my Bitcointalk account on a single browser and on a single device but still my total logged in time is getting higher each day.

I believe the users who spend 5 hours daily on the forum don't need to use any tricks to increase their total logged in time because within few days they can reach good logged in time on the site. Artificially increasing the logged in time by using bots or automation tools is the worst thing and I would recommend to avoid it at any cost.

You're a week older on bitcointalk login time and this has to do more about your achievements, if i were you, i wouldn't have just created this thread without pointing out what has gone through me throughout this period of my little stay, but you're only announcing here to us that you're seven days and some are seventy or even seventy days without saying a word, instead they will take their time in having a flash back of how impactful they have being to the forum and the forum to them.

Congratulations on your 1 week here. Since you’re making a thread about it, I guess it must mean a lot to you. Im also guessing you have seen similar threads like this before but compared to them yours is a small achievement to celebrate. 1 week is nothing compared to a year or a decade. I noticed you didn’t create a topic to celebrate your full member rank, and that’s probably because you’re aware of this topic.

Your post history is good and you have made some good contributions to your local board translating topics and the likes. There is no reason to keep this thread open. Lock the thread.

Firstly I want to say a thanks to EL MOHA ,Shishir99 ,EarnOnVictor, Yamane_Keto ,Popkon6 and EFS for the congratulations
I also want to acknowledge
SmartGold01 ,Rikafip, yahoo62278 , Dr.Bitcoin_Strange ,CryptSafe  and lovesmayfamilis for your corrections I now understand the reason this thread wasn't much good I guess I was too much on the emotional side while I made this post.

There is a thread for users to make such announcements https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/announce-your-rank-up-merit-or-any-achievements-that-makes-you-feel-great-5391471. Don't look at this as people hating on you because we aren't, we just don't see what the significance is of celebrating 1 week logged in except a poor merit attempt.

Since this is one of those self-congratulatory threads and no one shared it yet, I guess I have to. Tongue

I am glad today and I wish to share with you my little achievement here on this forum
And what an achievement it is, being logged in an online forum for a whole week. *slow clap*.

But seriously, what's next, people celebrating that they registered on forum? At least this little merit fishing attempt didn't work as of yet.

You, lady, need to become someone important on the forum so that we can later brag to everyone that we were with you when you reached seven days of presence here.
Otherwise, present the entire logic of your post. Don't you think that every person (how many accounts are there?) would spam the reputation thread with such news?
Have you heard the word "modesty"?
I will tell you a loophole so that you can quickly earn your days and minutes on the forum, leave the window open, and do other work simultaneously, and you will always be in the black.

Is this really important to you? Smiley

Wow!
I am surprise to see this from your ends.. and again you are correct I don't see any reason to keep sharing this kind of post if total numbers of users here shares their own side of the story here will be flooded. Like what JollyGood said it is better op keep thread on a mute instead of sharing this kind of post next time, although it is said for everyone to keep doing what makes them happy but that doesn't mean we should keep here flooded in order to make us happy.

The moment of joy, be it small or big, is a source of excitement for everyone. Since you have completed seven days of login time, your joy is a mountain for you. As you get older, your login time will also increase (many people in the forum have more login time and the joy is greater) so we must share this moment of joy with each other. Thank you for presenting this login time to us. May you go further and achieve greater rank.

What is BTT? Smiley

Congrats on your first full week logged-in time. That seems a bit low to me considering the date you registered, maybe I spend too much time on the forum. But I believe you will achieve 1 month much faster with that forum activity.

There's nothing bad if you just announced your achievement on this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/announce-your-rank-up-merit-or-any-achievements-that-makes-you-feel-great-5391471 topic because it does not really make any sense to bring up this kind of topic here. Imagine having every member announce all their achievement on this board; then you might not really see any reasonable topic to discuss unless people talking about their achievement. I looked at my profile and noticed that I have actually made about 2900+ comments just in my 36 days of being active on this forum. I don't think most members that created their accounts on the same platform as mine are able to make such a number of posts. That's enough for me to announce, but what's the essence?

These are the things they fail to understand. I believe OP is still growing and with time will be conversant with the forum irrespective of the time spent here.  Although the timing and the achievement shows OPs speed in growing here and I believe with this measures and step OP started with, OP would achieve more height here but with commitment and consistency. I will advise OP to be more productive and as well follow the foot step of reputable members here as that would guide OP through to learning and getting more knowledge about the platform and other activities that is worth emulating and learning here.

As Dr.Bitcoin_Strange already posted, you should have posted this on that specific thread. I understand your feelings and joy. But Imagine what will happen if everyone start creating this kind of threads for each of their achivement. A single person would end up creating more than 20 threads and the reputation board will be full of congratulations and nothing more.

So, it's wise to post all these in a single thread so it looks more organized. No offense towards you. I would suggest you to be more responsible because I know you are one of the fastest growing young talent Mia Chloe.

Everyone knows what makes them happy, that is why I am entirely neutral about this, but for those who love it and think towards it, they are welcome. Only that it has become the pattern now on the forum and what I see a person do, many others will continue to follow suit which makes it no more unique to me.

I am going towards my 40th day now and I don't even give the counting a thought unless I see a thing like this on the forum when people post it. I believe my reason might be for the point that I prefer quality posting and contributions to appreciate the forum rather than watching my active time spent.

However, congratulations to you, even though what I appreciate most in the image posted is the accurate timing, but you never mentioned it. It's the perfect 7 days without a single minute in addition. I hope you stay more with the forum and do your best to add your bit of quality posts.

All the best!

How is this total number of logins being calculated?
Congratulations, but Total time logged in can be easily manipulated by opening your account in multiple browsers and requesting pages periodically either using a browser-level automation tool like iMacros or using a bot.

How is this total number of logins being calculated? Is it by the number of times one logged in in a day or by the number of seconds X by minutes that one is not just logged in on the forum but by the number of times they are active on the forum? I mean, being logged in and also posting on the forum or just reading through the forum will add to the number of times one has been active.

I just need some clarification on how this timing is being calculated.
It is calculated by how long you spend surfing the forum while  logged in. login in and being dormant won't count as your total login time only increases as you visit pages or refresh pages while you surf.

I just need some clarification on how this timing is being calculated.

It is the Time you spent actively on the forum. Even if yuh actually bookmark it and turn on your data it won’t count, that’s why whenever you come you come to a thread you still have to refresh it for new feeds which shows that even bookmarking the page doesn’t count.

If you want to calculate the number of days has been on the forum since day one from the date of registration to now but that won’t be accurate because you don’t always come online every day

This post should be on the reputation board and not here on Meta. You can also use this thread to announce any achievements that makes you happy

Congratulations on the achievement though, this simply mean you have spent 168 hours being active on the forum, it is quite a good start. Consider moving the thread or locking it and post on the link above

Happy holidays Bitcointalkers  Cheesy
I am glad today and I wish to share with you my little achievement here on this forum ; My first 7 DAYS of total login here on Bitcoin talk (1 Week) I was quite excited to capture it😁

Yeah this may not seem like alot as there are members here with total login times of up to 160 days or even more. However my joy here is the fact that I was able to grow with the help of this forum from a total novice in the crypto space to someone with sound knowledge about Bitcoin basics. In addition to that amongst many others I have been able to understand privacy, decentralization, anonymity, dangers of KYC and lots more via this forum. I also want to use this medium to say ;
THANK YOU BTT
