It is alright if you lose more than 1,000 USD because that is just a paper loss and it will become a true loss if you will sell it for a lower price and accept the negative profits. If i were you, i will just hold it and wait for the come back of the price of bitcoin because in the future there will be going a huge bounce back in the price of bitcoin.

Everything that happens there must be its wisdom, which obviously don't make this happened as a decreasing our spirit to continues to earning bitcoin. All will definitely it's gonna be ok and entrust the bitcoin price will rising back next, I'm sure this is only temporary. For sure bitcoin will be still awesome, although this incident seems to weaken bitcoin.
I also have no issues with the Chinese authorities. According to them, they are saving investors and their local economy so these political moves were necessary to be taken. I respect their decision. Moreover, nothing can crush spirits of true bitcoiners and bitcoin is going to rise up again.

i thought it would dip down to $2500 actually but it didn't it would have been a huge profit. i weren't able to buy back at $2900 but on $3200. the Chinese government had helped traders profit but sorry for those who bought at $4k+. i can't be seriously hating the government that lets me earn about $700 in less than a week.

Money often costs too much.

Probably there are already people who took advantage and bought btc during that issue on chinese. AS one of those who actually risked buying even with small anxiety. It was worth it because in just 12 hours, it increased to at least 800$.
$2900 has been a support line. That has been a defensive action of enough hodlers by number. Coindesk reportet along discovering a temporary floor.
That slightly not overly optimistic sentiment of their article surprised me. The word lingering in the room pronounces as "Bulltrap"

Most of the Chinese now bought their fresh and cheap coins at $3,000. It's now time for bitcoin to be back and sorry for those people that sold their bitcoins at dip and thought that the price can't recover anymore and this dip is going to be on a continuous progress, but no. It's now close to $3,800 and maybe tomorrow we are going to see bitcoin back quick at $4,000.

I think it will be back soon Smiley

Why is the OP and the person below him sad? Did you sell your coin when the price was low? I guess there was a lot of information on this thread that urged people not to panic.

I bounced pretty hard at $3000.
$3700 now.

It is highly volatile now. It is very risky to invest on it at present.

buy it when it reaches 1600 usd.  gradually the price will go up soon
What makes you think it will go that low or not lower? I have my buy orders at $2000 judging based on total bitcoins on chinese exchanges plus arbitrage on western with some leeway

Still there are lot of ignorant people who are selling off their coins thinking bitcoin has crashed.  So the price will still go down.  Moreover there are many people in china who holds a major share of bitcoins. Since the exchanges are closing on sep 30, they will gradually sell off all their coins. So the chances are more for the price to fall.

Well I suppose that's one way of putting it. It's temper half we should take it one positive slant on things. This type of talk in this type of attitude is not going to get us anywhere. All is going to do is to bring the entire for him down when there's nothing to really be mad about there is nothing to be upset about the price is fine it's not going down anymore and Recovery has begun.

this is because there is interference from the Chinese country that seems to really affect the bitcoin prices that dropped dramatically.
I can not understand why China wants to ban ico and btc, because I think china is the most influential country in bitcoin progress especially for global market.

It is clear why China want to ban BTC and ICO. They will not permit anything in their country, which they can't control. Look at the state of Facebook and Twitter in China. They are under heavy censorship. I think that the biggest worry for the Chinese dictatorship may be that the Chinese Yuan may lose its battle against Bitcoin, because the former is getting devalued almost the every other day.
I also think this seems to have something to do with the local money of china YUAN that could be ketenaranya will lose with bitcoin.
the Chinese country is really very good at playing bitcoin market price, this is really outrageous because china country wants to control it all.
