Just got back from the MtGox site.

Is my eyes playing tricks on me.

On the yellow banner (after Buy and Sell Bitcoins), does it say, "...always available..." and "...Safe...."?

closed until June 26th 15:00 GMT, but since they have changed so many times I wouldn't be amazed if it was later

Thanks, is there any way of giving reputation or liking post on this forum. This is information I really could have done with knowing 2hours ago.

Anyone got any idea of when they might actually start trading?

Is anyone else having trouble getting into their accounts!??!

The stupid password reset they created is not working!!

And for everyone who is defending mtgox or MARK rather (cause its just ONE GUY OVER THERE with help from another guy in responding to emails) don't. This guy should have had at least 5 more employees the day he was dealing with more than a million dollars over there. That day was a long time ago!!

I have problems with this last minute announcement thing. it's okay for me if they say closed for a week

Thats what I meant.
I am sure they do not postpone it because they think its cool.
They do it because they think it is necessary.
And I like that.

It is not like you find out 5 minutes before deadline if you 24 hours delay

But you can definitly give a more accurate forecast the longer you wait. And thats what you want on the other hand.

lololoool, "fuck mtgox", at least they know how to read a fucking clock and don't spam the forum with useless crap.

edit: there already is a i-cant-read-a-clock thread: https://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=22413.0

I do not understand you people bashing mtgox.
On the one hand you want a secure place for trading, on the other hand you dont want them to secure their site (at least you bashing them for taking that time).
I have a lot more confidence in mtgox now, seeing they take the time they need to secure their site, despite all those people who it seems want the site up again before it is secure.
