The price is still over $300. That is higher than a month ago. The price dropped from $500 to $350. It took several days. There is no flash crash.

i believe they were aiming at 300 since the beginning, but they pumped more to get some fish in and suck their little badget

if we hold the 300 at least it should increase again in the future to 500

300 is a psychologically important level. If the price stay around $300 for a few months, then the push to $500 or even higher is possible.

If the price will remain at 300 us dollar I think that it is not a big achievement. It is only to have the possibility to tell that the last increase was not like the normal ones did by bitcoin during all its story. But a little better. But just a little is not something important. The beginning price before the increase reached that amount two or three times so it is not a big thing if it will be stabilized there. It would been another thing if would be remained around the 380 us dollar as it was for 4-5 days. In that case we were able to tell that bitcoin has made a step ahead; as a currency and as a hope for the big future wondered by all of us.

You can see yesterday trend it was dropped from 380 to 340 and today not even a single increasing trend makes it to go 310 by this time. This is actually a flash crash, i think it will only stopped at 200 mark.

yes you are right it has been on 380 the past few day
but really it is not flash crash as we are still up from 250 Smiley
Yes I think that is no longer considered a flash crash because the market is quite stable now and we will be unlikely to see many changes in bitcoin's price this week in my opinion

It's holding but not reaching the $400 barrier. if it does not go past the $400 it will probably go down and stay a bit above $300. But I'm confident that next year we will see some real rise.
Yes, I have the same thoughts as you. It will and must get up since bitcoin is getting more famous everyday.
I hope there will be a time when everyone knows about btc.

There is strong resistance at 350. And 350 is a nice rate to end the year.

The market seems a bit indecisive. We haven't broke our support at $350 which indicates we aren't bearish, but we are not really Movi h up either.

It is pretty unusual for Bitcoin to stay stable after a long bear market and a following surge in price.

Since we don't have any reason to be bearish though, I do expect the bull market to soon resume full throttle. Not sure what we are waiting for though.

The volatility is really big issue. It makes very difficult for businesses to start using Bitcoin. The exchanges and merchant service providers impose limits on merchant accounts, and the merchant accounts unable to cash out their Bitcoins in a larger quantity. Until this problem is not solved most businesses will stay away from Bitcoin.

it's funny because the only thing that can fix volatility is more merchant joining the party and accepting bitcoin, but they are not joining because of the volatility...

Just patient. As time goes on, there will be more people knowing about bitcoin and they will buy bitcoin so that price will rise. The price rise will attract more people and increase bitcoin acceptance by merchants.

Looks like a flash crash seems to be happening currently, my total guess it will stop about the 380 mark and rise back to 400$ by the end of the night and stabilize around there.

Flash crash in bitcoin land it 50% at least.  Looks like we could be on another climb to retest the highs of $500 sometime this week.

If someone doesn't get nervous enough to dump huge amount and start a panic dump. I hope this won't happen though. People have bad enough taste of this 2 year drought and I am just afraid they are not a but trigger nervous!

OP nailed the 380 number, this seems like the new floor, it just keeps fluctuating 10 dollars up and down around there. Either someone wants to keep it on there, or it has found a naturally new stable price. As predicted, we are making progress (coming from the last floor which was around a 250 dollar average)

It would be profitable for day traders to sell now and buy after the flash crash.
The flash crash won't last for long so traders need to be quick.
True. I would suggest sell now and buy tomorrow when the price is low.. As it is bound to be up again in a few days. Not a flash 'crash' as such but more of a 'correction'. Why not take full advantage of it.

Don't think it will go lower than $300

I think it'll stay at around 300, hopefully it will go higher

I'll be content if it stays around 300 but here's to hoping

I wouldn't really call this a flash crash but extreme price fluctuation. It hasn't stabilized for the last 48 hours and I don't think it will for the next 48 either

more like a correction, because we wen too far away with the last pump, and too damn fast, it was expected, because going beyond 500 would mean reaching the ath
