So a few things. To be clear with Wallet 2.0 ANYONE can buy and withdraw from exchange with no fees right now. Also fly is "cheaper" than ever at 70,000 sats. So if you ever wanted more fly. This is your chance.

Also if you like the amazing work of Griffith, you can send  funds without fees to him (HINT):  His fly addy is : F6gnR4L718AEEUJkxbe2qdsaboZQeF8ade

Vegas

Does this mean that YoBit will be working again?

Im not sure Tim, and I have not talked to them. Our new code uses 64bit addresses so I need to make sure our system is compatible with their exchange software.

I never said it was only for backup because I want everyone to do dump the privkey. The new engine of fly is completely different. So I want to keep everyone safe Smiley

Vegas

YUP!! Why chance losing what you hold? it is for your protection!!

CapnBDL
     Cool

Correct. This updates changes the engine in fly , so there was a chance of problems. If I didnt tell you to print your priv key and backup your wallet, and your wallet crashed, then you would come here asking for help without a backup.

Now some of you didnt read my instructions and deleted the flycoin folder to resyc. ONLY If you did this here are some addnodes:

You need to create flycoin.conf and place it in roaming/flycoin:

addnode=213.108.119.84:41568
addnode=62.85.16.238:41568

I'm getting this message when I try to import the priv key from my wallet to the new wallet:
Error adding key to wallet (code -4)

ill look into that. try just copying the wallet.dat from version 1.9.3 into another safe folder to make a backup and just update your exe, then run the new exe with the 1.9.3 wallet. you should be fine if you just do that

Yep, It's running fine with the old wallet, but then I don't understand why the dumpprivkey and such.

Anyway, as long as it works, I'm ok with it Smiley  (I'm running Linux, btw)

you dump the priv key just to have a backup copy of it. vegas never said to import it =p (i had to reread his post)

Yes, he never said to import it, and he never said it was only for backup. A lot of things that was never said Wink

I just wrote the new wallet over the old one with no problem.
Tries a couple test transactions and those went well also with no
large transaction fees.

And I guess that Linux users can just do a git pull and re-compile from source, right?

ya, I still need to update the OP links, but what you see in the git is final.
