I never heard about this exchange, becarefull use centralize exchange, because they have full control of their customer's funds. I've been scam by centralize exchange of cryptopia, since that time, I only use most trusted centralize exchange like Binance, Huobi and Bittrex. And to trade gems coins, I prefer to use DEX.

I hope that there will be more people try to make a complaint to the CTFC and scammer behind folgory will be jailed.

Can you tell me why you have deposited your money on folgory?

I guess folgory was a part from the scam exchange sites (coinsbit and p2pb2b).

These garbage exchange sites must never exist.

and to my surprise, their trading volume is huge as compared to small-medium exchanges! are they manipulating the volume or what? with increasing number of complaints, why this exchange got these figures? havent used this exchange and not planning to. are they doing the same tactic of p2pb2b when it comes to volume?  Roll Eyes

Alert alert, Folgory Exchange is the biggest scam exchange in history. They have stolen coins out of the users account and after that they banned their accounts. They never respond in ticket supports. They deny the withdrawals. They have deleted from their website the sepa transfer option. The whole exchange is managed by only 5 people. One of them is facing criminal issues from Italian Justice since 2014.
These guys are scammers. I don't know if they are regulated and licensed from Estonia as they claim cause they deleted also the No of their licenses.
I've searched on the internet and i found a lot of complaints regarding Folgory's attitude.

This name of the exchange reminds me something. May be I am mistaken, but I have read something alike with the name Folgory and complaints about it nearly in 2019. Someone wrote his complaints about the scam exchange and his losses. May be it was another one or may it is that exchange. Of course there are lots of situations of such kind and it is a pity to know that such kind of exchange has been existing for such a long period of time. It shows us how trusting people are, orr just unattentive.

Folgory exchange is a foul exchange. I have deposited a token in this exchange but there is a huge gap between buy order and sell order. Then there is fake trade again. We should make everyone aware against such scam exchange so that no one falls into their trap.

Thanks for the warning. I have not used Folgory exchange and of course I will not. But it's good that you wrote about the fact of fraud so that other users don't get into a similar situation. I have heard similar stories about other exchanges that freeze user accounts and withdraw funds. Embarrassed

Folgory is a scam, they took my 0.4 BTC, didn't respond to tickets and close my account.
Don't use this "exchange". They are ordinary thieves. I am posting this to warn other users.

Yes, it seems a scam and there were a lot of threads made about it.

I don't use this exchange and I oftenly surprised by those people that have been sharing some experiences how they've come up with such exchanges.

Still this is a good warning and advise if someone isn't aware of it.

To be serious, I find it extremely hard using most small exchanges because they can cook up anything and make away with users funds and most times nothing will be done about them. I would suggest people be mindful of all these exchanges without good reputation because the team cares about nothing but themselves. It is not as if new exchanges can not grow but what actually is the essence of having countless exchanges struggling to grow while top exchanges are busy breaking new boundaries hence making the competition even tougher. Well, any project not listed on good exchanges, I hardly count them as being serious.

This is a good warning to potential users of this exchange.  I have seen one new project that are currently running their bounty program that they are listed in this exchange. I will post the link of this thread in their thread so their traders will have a heads up before using this shady exchange.

Here in this case, we don't talk about fake volumes or such things. Here we are talking about common thieves, Folgory guys just took the coins from the users, it's crazy. It's really is.

I think something should be done to this, Maybe an associate or whatever that will curp the issue of scam exchange site. Like every exchange must be registered before they can be assigned as a verified exchange site. JUST A suggestion tho.

I still do not understand why some people feel comfortable using all these scam exchanges, there is no incentives they can offer that would make me use such exchange, there are many good centralized and decentralized exchanges so what makes you think a new exchange can perform better than them. I have no sympathy for you because I feel you only have yourself to blame

Your account registration shows that you have joined this forum since the year 2018 which i believe you should understand by now that every accusations make on this forum require an evidence.

They have deleted from their website the sepa transfer option.
They have been accused for shady things and scam but that doesnt prove they scam you cause they can remove any payment option that seems to be against their own regulation mind you kraken did the same before they later applied for SPDI bank charter permit.

The whole exchange is managed by only 5 people. One of them is facing criminal issues from Italian Justice since 2014.
An exchange been managed by 5 people doesnt matter if the 5 can handle the work perfectly and the issue of a member of the team facing criminal is a strong accussation but still not back with evidence.

These guys are scammers. I don't know if they are regulated and licensed from Estonia as they claim cause they deleted also the No of their licenses.

They are licensed exchange from Estonia, the exchange and whitex.exchange belong to  same people. Please move this thread to scam accusation section

I have about 20 USD on Folgory exchange and I can´t withdraw it since you need KYC verification even for 20USD. I do not trust them enough and I will never send any exchange my ID for 20USD. All exchanges should warn before you create an account that for every withdrawal you need KYC verification. It is interesting that deposit are allowed.  Cheesy

Obviously there will be these type of places and they will continue to scam people because people want to trade in places others do not and want to be different I suppose. I mean when there are places like binance and kucoin and what not, picking folgory or whatever (first time I am hearing about them) makes no sense at all, and putting up your own money in there because they had a certain coin paired with eth or whatever makes zero sense because you are giving away money if you use them.

So, anyone who doesn't use the trusted and established coins are basically throwing their money away, there is no other explanation on why else anyone would ever want to use an exchange that barely anyone has ever heard about over places like binance.

What a pun, Folgory sounds like forgery and I don't joke with words that look suspicious. I strongly believe in the implications of words. If I must trust an exchange with my money and data, it better not sound funny and suspicious. Users should always check and read up on the Scam thread here before making any investment choice. Sometimes they're saved the headache if they get to find out there's already a scam accusation hanging on the site they intend to register with. Doing one's research ahead has always been a fertile engagement. DYOR, always!

From the look of things, Folgory Exchange has had several scam reports on it. The OP shouldn't have missed it.
