because it needs fixing, mine new genisis block, new ports maybe?, compiling, uploading to git, uploading new qts, TESTING!
Don't tell us you have never tested in production? Even M$ does it.
It's the only way.
I'm going to give it one more try tonight with OC's advice. I'm building now with a new genesis block.
I updated github.
Windows wallet will be updated in about 10 minutes.

I'd say, give it a fair bit of warning before relaunch. If you were to just relaunch very soon, that'd almost be a ninja relaunch IMO...

If the coin's fixed and launched, yes.
Thanks buddy , I'll just leave it pointed instead of swapping coins and running up and down stairs from bedroom to basebasement lol , hopefully they get a launch pretty quick since others rented hash and I was about too lol .

Okay. I'm beat for the day. It's late here and I'm getting a little hazy. I'll set a new countdown and test. I don't think this is a retarget problem, but I'll look deeper into it.

It should just say waiting for work from available pools if your running cgminer or a variant, Once the wallet is back online the work will be picked up by your miner.
I've done this many times when my internet drop sometimes and i don't realise but it still stays open till it reconnects
