Newcastle United have been playing exceptionally recently. I saw some highlights of the game, they deserved to win that game. Arteta blamed the loss on the football being provided by the Puma sports company (instead of Nike which supplies footballs for the Premier League), he said the ball moved too much and his players were not used to it. If that was true, I suppose Newcastle United players adapted fast Grin

This was the best opportunity for Tottenham and Manchester United to try to secure a trophy this season but one of them had to get knocked out
and the other was going to proceed to the semi-finals. In the case of Tottenham, I cannot see them beating Liverpool in he semi-final but as the game is over two legs there is always going to be a chance no matter how unlikely.

Newcastle United also have a chance to win the trophy therefore they will have to field their best team if they stand a chance to beat Arsenal otherwise they will be left empty handed this season.

Arsenal has fallen back to defending full time as Arterta brought in Gabriel and reinforced the defense. Nketiah's goal against his former club was beautiful and experienced. G.Jesus scored hatrick in this match. Quite surprising, maybe Arterta would consider starting next premier league game with him owing to his outstanding performance today.

It seems the club have made wrong decisions ever since Ferguson retired therefore this one could also be a wrong one. If they have van Nistelrooy in place why would they need Amorim or anther manager right now?

Manchester United have ben stumbling upon mistake after mistake for over a decade now whereas Chelsea had similar problems the past few years but seem to have found stability. If the owners were competent things would have been different. Emery has been brilliant at Aston Villa on a small budget and other clubs such as Brighton and Nottingham Forest have similar stories about new managers coming in and immediately making an impact (yet Manchester United have failed badly).

I am unsure if there is any AI involved or whether it is plain stupidity on his part but he is posting today (on 21st May 2024) regarding the outcome of the Carabao Cup final and commenting on how Liverpool have to be wary of Chelsea BUT the game was played 3 months ago on 25th February 2024 and we all knew the result.
