FOOTBALL INJURY UPDATE

Ahead of schedule! Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus is already off crutches and showing promising progress ramping up his rehab in the gym in a boost to Mikel Arteta... less than four weeks after knee surgery ended his World Cup

To give the Arsenal supporters like me some reassuring news and hope about the return of our striker, he can now walk around with crutches, we may get to see him play again sooner than expected.

With the series of tough games Arsenal will play soon, I hope no other of our players get injured.

With Gabriel Jesus out for about 3-4 months, I’m worried for Arsenal because it is a real problem for them because he’s been integral to how good they’ve been. Although Arsenal have not publicly disclosed Jesus's recovery timeline, but he is widely expected to spend around three months out, leaving Eddie Nketiah to shoulder the attacking burden over the rest of the winter. This position where Arsenal find themselves needs urgency because Nketiah cannot give them what Jesus has been giving them before now. They really need to dip into the market to reinforce the attack so they can maintain their position on the table.

Many people thought Arsenal will have problems because of the absence of Gabriel Jesus.  But the truth is that Arsenal have been doing better even without Gabriel Jesus.  The absence of Gabriel can't be a problem for arsenal because Gabriel was never the strength of Arsenal performance.

It seems that the injury problems faced by Reece James are not that worrying, he has a knee injury and that will keep him out of action for up to 2 months. But Reece James' position has been replaced by César Azpilicueta who has the same position as right-back. As the host, Chelsea will certainly benefit greatly against Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.
Azpilicueta is a good player but not as influential to me as Reece James when he plays for Chelsea. With Reece James, Chelsea always have a very good chance at winning, without Reece James, Chelsea always struggles.

Ivan Tooney who has been very good for Brentford and only was not called up to the world cup because England has so many options was stretchered off in their last game for a knee injury, it raised tensions about their clash today with Liverpool. The coach of Brentford Thomas Frank has said that the injury is not significant, but I worry that it may make him not want to get too involved and physical in the games to avoid injuries and that may affect his performance as he is going against some very physical defenders like Van Dijk.

the chelsea match against bournemouth took its toll, one of chelsea's mainstay players had to be injured (reece james) even though he was recovering from a knee injury. chelsea is scheduled to play Nottingham forest at their home ground, potter needs to put someone right at the back-line to replace james, who is back injured.

There is no doubt that Reece James' injury is a serious one as it is speculated that he will be out for at least two months as a result of it. It is worth noting that he has a suitable replacement in Cesar Azpilicueta, who was also Chelsea's first choice right back before Reece James.

The match against Nottingham Forest should not pose much of a problem for Chelsea. However, it's the injury to Reece James that Chelsea should be most concerned about. This is because two months is quite a long time, I think. You know, there are a lot of games to play during that time.

With Gabriel Jesus out for about 3-4 months...

this is news that from what i can see it is still not 100% sure how many months he will actually be without playing, according to espn.com, they said that according to a source from them in brazil gabriel jesus will stay 3 months without playing, but that Arsenal had only said that the surgery was a success and that everyone in the team was rooting for him to recover quickly

https://www.espn.com/soccer/arsenal-engarsenal/story/4826872/arsenal-gabriel-jesus-out-around-3-months-after-knee-surgery-sources

but we all know that when a politician goes public and downplays a problem that people fear is something serious then we all know that the politician is lying, in the case of soccer teams the same thing happens, probably the arsenal is hiding it information so that your opponents do not know the real state of your player, maybe even gabriel returns to play earlier or maybe he returns to play later, this is also part of the arsenal strategy

However, I believe the coach would need to do some trial and error in order to find out what works best for him.

I hope he doesn't make these trial and error games against troublesome teams, for example the next game against Brighton, bookmakers are giving odds of @2.00 for Arsenal in case of a win but looking at Arsenal's current scenario it even seems like a good chance to bet on Arsenal, but Arsenal's coach can't afford to do any kind of experiment in this game, because Brighton are playing at home and they are a team that after having gone through a bad phase they recovered, and in 5 games they had 3 wins and 2 losses, arsenal will not have an easy game against Brighton

When Gabriel Jesus got injured, Arteta has floated the possibility of using Gabriel Martinelli through the middle and wants to add attacking reinforcements. But Eddie Nketiah is ready to fill the hole in Arsenal's attack, we saw Nketiah doing the job and against Westham United, he proved himself. I don’t know how far Arsenal will go with this but there are also reports that they’re trying to add another forward to compliment the attack in the absence of Gabriel Jesus. They’re a lot of games to be played, so I expect reinforcement.
They can't get someone right now, can they? It's not the transfer window right now as far as I know and not for a while longer. After that, depending on how Gabriel Jesus feels then maybe they could get another player.

How long will he be out? Last I know was like 3 months for the injury and it has been nearly a month already since that was said, which means only 2 months left. If that timing is correct then they shouldn't really get someone for only 2 months absent. If they could hold off for 2 months that would be better. However, if they are looking to get someone for long term, like even if Jesus was healthy type of deal, then it would be reasonable for sure.

As far as I know, I think he will be out for at least two more months which could be until February 2023. It would be safe to say that he will at least miss around 8 to 10 matches as a result of the injury, which is very unfortunate for both Arsenal and their fans.

In my opinion, the coach did a good job by playing Eddie Nketiah against Westham United. But I do not think that this is a foolproof plan for the next few months. It seems to me that Gabriel Martinelli would be a better option. However, I believe the coach would need to do some trial and error in order to find out what works best for him.

Nketiah was doing very well before Jesus came to Arsenal. And Nketiah also did well in some Europa league matches he was privileged to feature. So I am not surprised that he did well in the absence of Gabriel jesus.

These timings are so far. I don't know why football injuries last long. Players like Benzema, Mane , Pogba, Kante etc are supposed to be back and playing by now.

Say no more please he was outstanding and incredibly perfect during the game against Chelsea how many games did he play and how many goals has he currently. He makes good runs but his finishing is still not improved and very poor. Saka, odegaard and Martineli are players pushing Arsenals goals in. That goal against Westham will get him increased feelings.

Benzema is already back to his feet training with other players at Real Madrid, for Pogba and Kante that is still unknown and uncertain

In his first match, in the second half of this season, Eddie Nketiah has proven that he can replace Gabriel Jesus. however, of course we can't be sure that he will really play with high performance from match to match. The reason is, West Ham United is not a formidable opponent for the Gunners to conquer. even so, his presence at the moment has helped a little over the vacancy in the center forward position.

As for Gabriel Martinelli, maybe he can also be rotated as a center forward according to the team's needs when playing matches. however, because Knetiah is still around, Arteta doesn't seem to have tried to experiment with Martenelli yet. on the other hand, I think Arsenal still need some newcomers to strengthen their squad. and one of their top priorities is Mudryk, who are now reportedly making their first bid for the Shakhtar Donetsk man.

By the way, Gabriel Jesus is rumored to be out for the next three months and what about Sadio Mane's injury and Christopher Nkuku's injury, does anyone have accurate information regarding these two players.

All of which combined means that either getting a new player for striker or not, both is not enough for them and not a solution.

I think it would be very very important to switch up the formation and find a sustainable method within the club to make sure they do not lose games until they can figure out a way to win without Jesus, that would be the only way they could continue their run.

However, it will be more difficult for a soccer team to be able to really develop a strategy if taking players from other teams can even take longer than replacing players from their own reserve team. Even though they are not core players, because they often practice together, it will make it easier. to be able to adapt and understand the game of the team.
Apart from that, I believe that every football team always has a backup strategy that is used when their core players are injured and it can be seen that it is very rare for a team to transfer players from outside to join their team.

Diaz showed great performances to keep the team alive. Diaz is likely to miss 2 matches in the EPL at least for now. He has better be ready by this date otherwise the number of matches he might miss would go up to 3.
Sad news for Liverpool, with the injuries, most clubs are seeking reinforcement and planning to take advantage of the January transfer window.

In other news, Argentine supporters are hoping that they get to see Messi play in the finals which he has said will be his last world cup game. Messi skipped training to rest his hamstring. In their game with Croatia, I noticed how often he was rubbing his left hamstring.

That is a major concern and hopefully it doesn't affect his performance.

source

Hehe Hehe, Hopefully this doesn't get him sidelined on Sunday night else it's a complete walk over for France.
Though, the truth is that I really don't want to see Argentina winning the FIFA World Cup bit what can I do to stop them ?! Nothing, Argentina winning means,  Lisandro Martinez wins the FIFA World Cup after getting bashed by Jamie Caragher Liverpool's legend for being too short.

I'll send him a quick Fvck you if that happens lol. In the Premier League, they protect British player's and Lambast foreign player's who makes the league what it really is.

So it hurts a lot, I think that Lio Messi could not stop playing, they give him a good analgesic and let's play, this is a player who would not miss the final for anything in the world, he also had a great commitment because in the final he did not he has won, and I think that this is something that has tormented the Argentine a lot, many compare him with Maradona and that seems to me to be something very incorrect, he has a lot of pressure and I think that in some way this has affected his game, in a way At the moment he wanted to stop playing for his team, I really think this will be his last cup to retire with all the achievements and the maximum that a player can achieve.

Well, it's time to wait and see Benzema in action, for me he is already fine, he must be doing gym work, having his therapies and everything required, is that France has a great team, but you have to be realistic, here is the one who Mbappé is enjoying his good moment, although personally I don't like how the player is as a person, and how he has been, well, it cannot be denied that he is a crack, that is something he has, just as Ney has been highly criticized by many, I think that Mbappé, according to his performances at PSG, was what I did not like because he should not choose who to put and who not, he is not the ideal person to do it either, I think that Benzema may already be against England.

Benzema, Alaba to return to Real Madrid training next Saturday – report

Quote
According to journalist Arancha Rodriguez (h/t RM4Arab), Real Madrid duo Karim Benzema and David Alaba will return to the club next Saturday and rejoin training ahead of the resumption of the La Liga season later this month.
Benzema has not played for Los Blancos since the first week of November when he featured against Celtic in the UEFA Champions League. Having struggled with muscular discomfort, the Frenchman has missed a good number of matches for the club already.
While he looked set to recover in time for the FIFA World Cup, a thigh injury in training ruled him out of the France squad for the tournament in Qatar. Having returned to Madrid, Benzema soon departed to the Reunion Islands for a vacation.

Having said that, I am in complete agreement with you.

As much as France are saddened by the loss of Karim Benzema to the new generation of football, they have pretty worthy replacements in Kylian Mbappe and Olivier Giroud to replace him.

It has been a great year for Mbappe as he has already scored five goals at the World Cup. I was really impressed by his performance after watching the knockout round match against England, which was the fourth match he had played at the World Cup, and as a result, his performance was really commendable.

I am pretty sure that if France is able to qualify for the finals, Mbappe will be able to score double-digit ~8 goals Roll Eyes.

regards

duke

Well, the truth is, all the injuries to these great players have left us with our mouths open, however, Benzema played for the final and he did not do badly at all, I am happy when they come and go out of harm's way, injuries are things that happen and that sometimes they can stop any player, I really liked the example that Neymar set in Brazil, with his very swollen ankle, through the doctors they managed to recover it in time so that he could contribute to his team and despite the fact that he tried very hard, he didn't They could not advance further or even reach a final, their path was very hard, but what I think of all this is that the players who were injured despite everything do not regret it because they have contributed enough to their country.

With Gabriel Jesus out for about 3-4 months, I’m worried for Arsenal because it is a real problem for them because he’s been integral to how good they’ve been. The absence of Gabriel Jesus, is an incident that is detrimental to The Gunner. in fact, the Brazil coach was not aware that Jesus suffered an injury against Cameroon in the last Qatar world cup. so, Tite was late to withdraw Jesus and was replaced by Pedro. as for other Brazilian players, such as Neymar. Tite was also late to take him off the pitch. this incident should not have happened to these two Brazilian stars.

As a result, Arsenal were very unhappy to hear that one of their stars had to be sidelined for several weeks from the league competition. Like it or not, Arteta must prepare other options such as Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli who can be rotated as center forwards. even then, with one condition, Arteta succeeds in bringing in Mykhaylo Mudryk in the coming January. although the player expressed interest, he was still constrained by the problem of a very high transfer fee. unfavorable situation. although there are several other names that could be Gabriel Jesus' options, such as Joao Felix and several others. but I'm not sure that they will be able to adapt immediately when the league returns.

I hope Arteta can answer Arsenal's current needs by bringing in the right players.

Well, Gabriel Jesús is something that we all did not expect, however, he came to play, but in part the Club would not have liked to see him on the bench, but they must also feel a bit calm and relaxed because they did not risk it too much and they were able to keep him without many injuries, however he was injured and so much so that he could not play against West Ham, Gabriel Jesús is a very important player for Arsenals, for me he is an icon of Arsenal, however I think that from now on he will be highly valued by some clubs , and perhaps City want him, or even Real Madrid, who made it known that they wanted a Brazilian, perhaps because of the way they play, which is always focused on attack. Although today Arsenal's game against West Ham was on another level.

Mikel Arteta backs Eddie Nketiah to fill Gabriel Jesus void as Arsenal star set challenge

Quote
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has backed Eddie Nketiah to take the place of Gabriel Jesus, amid fears the Brazilian may be sidelined until February.

Jesus picked up a knee injury during the World Cup, with the striker subsequently undergoing surgery to fix the problem. As he recovers, Nketiah will take his place as Arsenal 's first-choice striker, with no other natural option in Arteta's squad.

There have been suggestions the Gunners could dip into the transfer market to add to their options up-front. But Arteta has made it clear he is confident Nketiah can help to keep their surprise Premier League title challenge on track.

There is good news from Europe. Karim Benzema is back in action, having recovered form his injury. He played for around 30 minutes for Real Madrid, in their match against Leganes. There were some rumors that Benzema would be included for the world cup final against Argentina, but it never happened. I guess he will be completely fit in a matter of few weeks. Meanwhile there is still no positive news on the other French superstar - Paul Pogba. Recently Max Allegri (Juventus manager) announced that no fixed timetable has been set for his return.
