In the transfer market last summer, there was a lot of speculation and news about big clubs wanting Osimhen. But in the transfer market yesterday, the Napoli club set a very high transfer price for Osimhen. I forgot how much it was, but after the club set the transfer price for Osimhen, since then all the clubs that reportedly wanted Osimhen started to back off and didn't dare make an offer. And it's possible that Aurelio De Laurentiis as owner of Napoli will make the same strategy so that Osimhen is not approached by other clubs who want to recruit him.

But I personally also hope that Osimhen moves from Napoli. Because I don't like clubs that don't really respect their players. I saw the news that there was a stir about Osimhen's conflict with the Napoli club. And I think at that moment Osimhen's pride must have been hurt. But I also can't blame the entire Napoli club in this case. Because I think it is the work of an irresponsible staff member. Because before this incident I had heard that Osimhen would not be in a hurry to leave Napoli. He probably dreams of playing in the EPL. But it looks like that's not in the near future. At least that's what I gathered from Osimhen's conversation at that time. But I don't know what Osimhen's attitude is now after several conflicts that occurred there. Is it still in its original position or has it changed?

I'm very impressed how the Napoli board pulled  fine stunt to keep their star player in the team for a few more season, they're fully aware that Osimhen is a popular demand and they could lose him if nothing is done and that's why they increased his release clause to fend off bidders coming for his demand and now if he's to leave Napoli are ready to sell him to a very serious bidder and for a high price, well since his clause has been increased I think they'll be demanding for about €180 or more if I'm not mistaken.

Well that's a very huge amount for one player and there are only few clubs that could afford that amount, however for Napoli to fend off bidders it means Osimhen is very valuable to them and need him to be there for a while until they find a suitable player for his replacement. I also feel Osimhen should leave Napoli asides being disrespect he needs to go to a club that would offer him an opportunity of winning a major trophy.

Thomas Muller recently completed a short-term contract extension with Bayern Munich and he will still be in Die Rotten uniform for one more season. This is clearly a form of his devotion to the team that has made its name on the football scene and his love for Bayern Munich has never disappeared after 14 years in the first team.

Thomas Muller is a product of the Bayern Munich academy and he has never joined another team since arriving at Bayern Munich. It looks like this is the last contract that Bayern Munich can offer him considering that he is already 34 years old and maybe after his contract ends he will also retire at Bayern Munich.

He was old enough but he is still good. Extending his contract till 2025 was the best decision for him. It's caused by he can still even play for bayern till the next years. I remember that the rumor about manchester united was targeting this guy and this news has proven that if it was a fake news.
There was no furhter development regarding that rumor and i have marked it as fake news. glad to see mueller was taking the right decision by extending his contract much longer than before. Im very happy by seeing it happen.
Mueller was making the right decision instead of going to the other club since he was old enough to play in the new club. Saudi pro league club shall put him as the next target. It's caused by he has so many experiences.
Seeing him to play in the saudi pro league along with lewandowski will be a very good thing for sure. Saudi pro league shall have included him into the list of players to be bought soon.
Mueller was making a good movement for his career. He needs only to think where to retire. Im sure muller has been considering it so many times.

The rumours linking Mauro Icardi with Real Madrid are still on. Some news source are still claiming that he will be signed by the Spanish side in January. But as far as I can remember Real Madrid refuted these rumours by stating the opposite. I also don't think Ancelotti's priority is to sign a centre-forward at the moment.

You know Alaba has newly got injured and he won't be recovering until the end of the season. Ancelotti talked about this situation and it seems like he will go for a centre-back transfer. They really need one now because Militao is also still injured.  Sad

They really need to get one even if it's for the remaining six months ahead. They don't look good with Joselu, so getting Mauro Icardi seem like a great idea to me. I do think that, there'll be a level of validity attached to the news. He use to be a very good goalscorer before he left Inter Milan years ago. Injury has also affected him.

I also think that, they should place so much importance in getting a new defender for depth on loan to replace David Alaba. The use of Tchouameni Aurelien as a center back don't seem appealing to me at all in the slightest way. For the next six months, a new defender to conver up for David Alaba should make proper sense.

barcelona may go bankrupt if this club is not trying to raise some money to deal with its debt or even FFP. Glad to see that this news has proven that if barcelona has very very bad money management. This is answering my curiosity regarding the condition of club.
I have been aware since a long time ago if barcelona was rarely getting profit from selling the players. The club prefer to let them go away as free agent instead of sell them all before their contract were running out.

Barcelona is just another sevilla which has been putting all of its main players for sale. There will be no exception as long as the player can give barcelona good amounts of money.
Other team may be seeing this as an opportunity to buy barcelona players with cheap price like what happened with sevilla.
The Barcelona players are definitely a little confused, on the other hand they really want to be at this club longer but the club financial condition also seems very worrying. like it or not Barcelona will sell even if they are hungry to let go of important  players. but this means the club also suffered losses because the money from  the sale was allocated to cover debts improve management and also facilities which he said were starting to fail to provide services to players. In my opinion, there is no choice because of  the club risk. Those who want to take a discount are  certainly a rare opportunity. Do De Joung, Raphinha, Fedri and Ferran dare to take this option and choose a club that can guarantee the future.

I can't even believe that barcelona is now on the same situation like what sevilla did in the last season.

Quote
Barcelona are reportedly open to offers "for all players" amid their continued financial struggles, as three stars in particular face winter exits. The inability to secure an investor increases the likelihood of Barcelona executing player sales this winter. They raised around €103 million ($113m/£89m) in the summer from the sale of Ousmane Dembele, Antoine Griezmann, Frank Kessie, Nico Gonzalez, Abde Ezzalzouli, and Trincao but need more funds to balance their books. Hence they remain open to listening to offers for all players.

Goodnews for Chelsea fans

Today Christopher Nkunku has made his debut in Chelsea FC today against Newcastle United. I can say that the appearance of Nkunku was accompanied by luck. This is because Chelsea were on 1 goal down against Newcastle United when Nkunku entered the game in the second half.

All things being good Nkunku scored his penalty kick after Tripiers expensive defensive error gave Chelsea and equaliser that stretched the match to penalty shoot out. It was then that Trippier concluded his bad function by also missing PK. Will the return of Nkunku begin a new and desirable Chelsea?

Nkunku is a nice player and it is time for him to fully recover from the bad times he has now behind him hopefully. The guy has some great speed and is technically impressive and physically highly resistant. A very flexible striker, which is what Chelsea can need desperately. Chelsea is still only at 1.5 goals per game, which is not enough for a team like them. But it wasn't for a lack in quality that they sucked hard for so long now.
Actually, I think an average of 1.5 goals per game is not a bad statistic. However, they concede too many goals and that's where the problem lies. Nkunku is an effective player in scoring goals and is just recovering from his injury. I'm sure he will be useful to Chelsea. Chelsea can be a great team, they just need to pay attention to a few small points.

It’s time for them to work with the players they have, it’s clear pissing money up the wall without a plan has not served them well. Pochettino needs to earn his corn.

The Blues have indeed become a laughing stock this year after wasting more than 1 billion euros on players who have so far not lived up to the expected results.

The issue is that no progress has been made under Pochettino. He took charge of a team that finished 12th in the Premier League last season and that is where he is again under the Argentine manager.

Chelsea have also accumulated just 39 points in total in 2023 – the worst result for a team that has always been present in the Premier League. Boehly may have overseen the biggest spending spree ever, but the net result is a historically bad football team.

Money definitely doesn't buy everything.
Even Barcelona did better.
If in the end Chelsea can't achieve the expected results and the results are the same as last season, it could be said that they are just wasting their money on players whose quality is no different, even Chelsea performance this season and last season still looks the same. Pochettino cannot make changes for the better even though he has made a change in players, maybe in the winter transfer market Chelsea only wants to recruit 1 striker who can be relied on because Chelsea really need a striker who can bring change to the team.

And the striker who is always associated with Chelsea is Victor Oshimen but we don't know for sure because Victor Oshimen doesn't seems to want to join Chelsea considering Chelsea condition is not that good when compared to Napoli, maybe Chelsea will think about other option if in the end Victor Oshimen doesn't could be recruited by Chelsea.

Todd Boehly prolly doesn't understand these things, he basically thinks all he has to do is spend money and then Chelsea become automatically successful, the investments that the club has made in the last three transfer windows have been massive, but despite that Chelsea are still struggling so much and they are 10th position in the EPL table.

I don't know if Pochettino can take Chelsea out of this situation, but the club can at least let him try. Pochettino needs to have a stronger influence in the dressing room, he also has to identify the players he needs if they are going to spend in January, when a manager selects a player he wants, it is because they see that the player can help his team play in the way he wants. Poch needs more freedom and Todd should give him space.

Splashing cash without a good purpose and goal to achieve is such a stupid thing to see happening right now with Todd Boehly and Chelsea. He can't be doing all of these transfer alone. He should get a sporting directors and Co's that understands the job ( Europeans )
If he does that, then they can start accessing and bringing in players that will work in line with the plans of the club.

The players are too small and has no experience, they should be mixed up with experience so they can learn and complement themselves.
( Have you forgotten Makalele and John Mikel Obi? One was experienced and the other was young and stronger learning from experience) Todd Boehly should learn otherwise it'll take long for them to bounce back.

Lastly, I must say Mauricio Pochetino is not that man for Chelsea Football Club.

Nkunku is a top player and his return to the team is a great addition and this is going to put an end to the lack of goals that the blues has been experiencing. I was really happy seeing him play yesterday, let's see how things go. I pray he doesn't pick up another injury.

When someone who does not really understand something that exceeds his capacity then indeed things like this are very likely to happen as well as when looking at Todd and Chelsea's current situation.
At the beginning of Todd's arrival he did not really understand how to manage well, especially in the transfer market so that for the first and second seasons most of the players were brought in only because of Todd's wishes not the needs of the club which made this a little troublesome in terms of performance because we know that some players like Enzo or Mudryk were Todd himself who intervened as well as when he tried to hijack Cristiano from Manchester when Cristiano had an argument with Ten Hag.

Todd is still trying to do it himself and his ego that wants to advance the club instantly has proven to be a failure so in this case there are several things that need to be tried as a new strategy including in the matter of player transfers.

Indeed Victor Osimhen want to leave Napoli next season I don't heard with transfer update from Arsenal have official bid offer for signing him, there are not any teams give official bid offer for Napoli to sign Osimhen. I don't sure with many top teams are interested for signing Victor Osimhen but they can't give official bid offer with high transfer fees and make Napoli will priority which on team are seriously for signing their player. For Napoli not really important about teams interested with Osimhen participants in Champion League or not but depend on which one teams give higher fees transfer.

For winter transfer window seems bit difficult for Osimhen leaves Napoli, I think next season will see which one team have bigger chance for signing Osimhen will Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United or Real Madrid.
the rumor that I know is that Liverpool is trying to make an offer but I'm not sure it will happen because the fee is very high and this is the difficulty Osimhen will leave Napoli because this is one of the strategies used Napoli management since last season's transfer at a price of $100m seems to be a value that is truly unreasonable so that many european teams will not dare to sign this player and there are only a few teams that can afford to pay large amounts, namely teams from the SPL.
while Osimhen is not too old, he doesn't want to leave europe before he is old and he definitely doesn't want to go to the SPL even though he could get a bigger salary.

this strategy of holding back Osimhen by setting a high price makes Osimhen feel imprisoned because he can no longer appear at Napoli and if he does this because he is forced to, Osimhen performance will definitely decline like now, where several times his performance looks very uninspired.
and it seems like your opinion is very reasonable, maybe this season's transfer, Osimhen should be more patient in waiting until his contract expires and he will leave as a free agent and be free to decide where he will go like Mbappe did.

I was delighted seeing Nkunku come on for Chelsea yesterday against Newcastle. He has not played any competitive football for the club after injuring his knee on the pre-season tour, weeks after joining from RB Leipzig.
I know it was was a significant blow to Pochettino’s preparations for this season campaign, particularly as he had been a standout performer during the two weeks in their tour.
Over the weekend, he was named in Chelsea's squad for the first time for Saturday’s win against Sheffield United but he didn’t feature in the game.
Pochettino should manage him, and gradually give him game time so he can play through out the season. We all saw what is happening to Reece James. After a long time injury, he couldn’t stay up for long.
Hopefully Nkunku replicates his impressive scoring form for Leipzig in recent seasons.

I understand if Osimhen would like to leave Napoli and go to Arsenal as that opens the door for him to the best league in the world and to play in the Champions League next season. I doubt that Chelsea will qualify for the Champions League. It could still be a great adventure for him and I guess he would earn more than he currently does at Napoli, but it would not be real progress for him. Chelsea is not one of those clubs that dominate European football anymore. But it would make sense if he misses the CL with Napoli and has to leave anyway if he wants to go to the Premier League, but would Arsenal really be interested in him?

Don't think so, his current market value is way lower, probably not over 100 mil.
He will be a free agent in 6 months.
Since his contract is almost over, I agree that his market value even below €100m. Real Madrid must prefer to wait for 6 months, until the end of his contract. If Real Madrid tries to sign him in January, probably there is another drama with Mbappe. It is better to be patience, 6 months isn't a very long time to wait for Mbappe.
Well, being more patient until you actually get Mbappe as free agent is the best thing to do because Real Madrid can get him without needing lot of drama or lot of haggling with PSG who are still trying to keep him.
Mbappe might actually leave PSG and until now there has been no clearer update regarding his contract.

~snip~
Mbappe gets difficulty to succeed like in 2018/19 season, he isn't in a lucky condition lately. He lost some good teammates in PSG, Messi and some great players are leaving PSG. There is also no big competition yet, Mbappe only focus on domestic competition. Sure, Mbappe probably can win the Ligue 1 trophy only. We can't see something interesting in Mbappe's career recently. So, it is very reasonable to see the market price of Mbappe is decreasing a lot during this year.
That what happened, and the departure of Messi and Neymar caused the PSG squad to experience significant decline. Even though Neymar didn't really contribute much because he was often injured, Messi was still one of the important players in PSG attack line last season.
Now Mbappe has to fight alone, he has to be able to play very well to bring PSG success and this is one of the reasons for the setback that occurred.
Plus, in 2022 France will also fail in the World Cup so Mbappe can't achieve anything except the Ligue 1 title.

Atleast they were able to win Newcastle today on penalities,a late goal by Mudryk brought them into the game as they drew Newcastle 1 :1 full time. I think  Chelsea are more serious when it comes to playing any other competition,or maybe Newcastle neglected the game and looked down on it since it's not the premier league. But Chelsea would take it more serious because they know they arent going to meet up with the teams in the top four because almost all of them are very good, and will be to surprising to me if  they should end the season qualifying, but I doubt if that is going to happen.

Chelsea need rebuilding, and they also need a good manager that can give them the kind of team spirit that will push them towards winning tittle.

I agree if Osimhen may be interested to join Arsenal. This team already becomes a strong team that always compete for the title in each season. With some new players, Arsenal is very close with the title this season. As long as they can maintain good performance, their chance to win the EPL title is very opened. Arteta may try to negotiate for signing Osimhen, he needs more productive striker for their front line player. I saw Jesus can't perform very well this season, he isn't as productive as previous season. So it is not impossible that Arteta wants to sign a new striker.

Indeed. Arsenal meets the criteria of the dream team of Osimhen. Arsenal is competing for the EPL title, they are also playing in UCL knock-out phase. Arsenal has the chance to win the title of 2 popular competitions, specifically for EPL title. If Osimhen wants to join Arsenal, I believe Arsenal to be a more stronger team in the future.
Osimhen is linked with two big Premier League teams, these two teams are Chelsea and Arsenal. Arsenal want to improve their front line by bringing in new players in the winter transfer window and it is reported that Arteta has already bagged several striker names for them to recruit in the January transfer window. However, I think that Osimhen has a better chance of staying with Napoli for a long time because he just accepted the offer of a new contract extension that Napoli proposed last week.

If Chelsea and Arsenal recruit Osimhen, they will definitely have to pay a lot to Napoli in the transfer market. Chelsea also needs an attacker who is aggressive in scoring lots of goals and Osimhen is their target. We'll see whether Osimhen will stay with Napoli for a long time after accepting a new contract offer or whether he still chooses to leave. He is quite a valuable asset for Napoli and he will be a big star if his intention is to stay with Napoli.

Todd Boehly is not going to learn from his mistakes and he is just making the same mistakes over and over. After everything that happened in the last season even after investing lots of money, Chelsea couldn't get a good result and they had to rebuild the team with a new coach fully and since Pochettino started working in CHeslea they made many changes and spent most of the money but even after spending all these money they spent for the team, Chelsea couldn't get good results with means money won't solve the problems in Chelsea.
Well, it will be interesting to see Todd Boehly in the January transfer window because he is known to be very generous in buying players at the highest prices. Chelsea have spent a lot of money in two transfer windows but they have not been able to get a complete turnaround in their performance in the premier league. They have carried out changes in coaches and major overhauls but there have been no satisfactory results so far. I think Todd Boehly should learn from Aston villa because Aston Villa is able to perform better than chelsea and they don't build a squad with big money.

So, they have to be able to improve their existing players and not have to look for new players to change everything. However, they also have to fix several weaknesses, such as looking for a new striker for the second half of this season. Maybe Chelsea can make a bigger offer to PSG if they really want to have high quality strikers like Mbappe and Osimhen and these players are not a cheap price if Chelsea wants to get them.
