It's not a good deal for chelsea at this moment. kepa may make the club lose a lot of investment on him. Vinicius is deserved to get contract extension because in the last several season Vinicius has been change became an important player to Real Madrid and if i am not mistaken he was joined to Real Madrid from Flamengo when he was 18 years old and he had difficulty adapting when he first joined but gradually Vinicius has been change became an world class player in Real Madrid so it's normal if Real Madrid don't want to losing him and about the release clause i think Real Madrid already thinking about this before and Vinicius also has been agree to this term and he want to stay longer with Real Madrid so that's why he was willing to signing new contract although the release clause price is so high and besides that Vinicius will being an one of the player with the highest salary in Real Madrid

It's not a surprise anymore. Vini has been playing in the best club in the world. No reason for him to leave from there, even modric was also interesting to get another contract extnesion from madrid at this moment.
