While signing both Caicedo and Enzo are obviously clear mistakes since Chelsea willing to spend money double from their market value just because they have a lot money.
I wouldn't say Chelsea made a mistake signing Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, they are both excellent midfielders that any manager would wish to have in their side, and they are also very young, Enzo is 22 years old, whilst Caicedo is 21, thus they are for the present and the future (if they decide to stay in Chelsea for the long term).

What i don't agree with is the signing fee for these players, it is definitely ridiculous and far above what their valuation should be, but i guess it is what it is, the transfer market these days is a joke, so much money being thrown around on players that don't even merit it.

One of the worst investments Chelsea ever made was signing Lukaku for nothing in the club. $113M is just too ridiculous to buy a player that was above 27 years old and then only to be loaned out for $8M for the same club that sold him, Inter was smart to make money with him and Chelsea was desperate for another Champions League trophy in the bag and yet, the man never participated in the journey, I think Chelsea is bad in making good financial decisions and this thing has been for long right before Toed Boehly bought the club, it will better if the review some of their staffs before they become broke like Barcelona that can not sign big players again due to FFA; Caicedo and Enzo always ring on my head whenever I think about their midfield.
Todd Boehly is a businessman who likes to invest in buying players based on data as he did at the LA Rodgers baseball club he owns. The players bought by Chelsea are headed in that direction even though the purchase price looks expensive, but that's how Boehly runs his club, he sees the opportunity for these players to get a return on their investment in the future. We can also see this when last season appointed Graham Potter as a coach, who at Brighton often used potential players who later became good players with high selling values. Boehly hopes Potter will do the same at Chelsea to make the club excel in the hope of making a profit. from the results of his investment, but in reality he failed. And now Todd Boehly is also making the same mistake by buying expensive players who can't develop quickly. Chelsea should have learned from last season's experience but sadly he didn't.

For me, Chelsea's carelessness is that they don't see which players are needed for the team, but the purchases are only to break player records. I think Chelsea often panics when competing teams want to recruit the player they are looking for, but Chelsea is also a competitor in hunting these players, but they don't see which players the team really needs.

Officially‼️ Eden Hazard is set to retire from professional football.
According to the media, the Belgian captain has plans to announce his retirement from professional football at the age of 32. Many clubs have been interested in the signing of Eden Hazard this summer at 32. But he decided to call it a day on his career. It seems that Real Madrid will be his last team in his career.
Eden Hazard has spent four seasons wearing the white shirt, and until now he has been without a team. He has had several offers to continue his career with another team, but it seems that none of them have convinced the striker. At this point in the summer, Hazard would have decided not to listen to any more proposals and hang up his boots.
Hazard spent one of the best years of his career at Chelsea, where the former Madrid winger made 352 official appearances, scoring 110 goals and providing 76 assists.

Deadline rumors from Manchester United who are interested in signing Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. Actually I don't know for sure what made Manchester United want to bring in a midfielder again, but is it possible that Erik ten Hag is still not satisfied with his current midfield? or maybe because Mason Mount is currently injured so he needs a reserve midfielder to overcome this. Apart from that, actually Pierre-Emile Højbjerg was also quite good last season with Spurs and can be another alternative when Manchester United needs a creative midfielder. Is it possible that this transfer will be realized before the transfer market closes? we should look forward to.

Erik ten Hag is just wasting money while Manchester United's line up this season already has midfielders who are quite good like Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes, Antony, Donny van de Beek, etc., in my opinion, those names are very strong in helping power. attack Manchester United, at least Manchester United are more concerned with defending and improving in Manchester United's defense sector alone because of the lack of defensive players which makes Manchester United always a weak point and very easy to guess by the opposing team, Erik ten Hag should have thought a second time to bring in new quarterback.
This club is connected to every player, so yet Manchester United's transfer dealings aren't officially over yet. The club looks like confused, and the manager, Erik ten Hag, unsure about what he's doing now. I used to think he had a plan, and there are certain things he's probably considering. The club might have other choices, but looking extending their options. Anyway, if this turns out to be true, it would be quite a surprising move. He's really underrated and made a big impact on the game when he came on.

Ten Hag should be very careful with his choice of players, the team under his watch now is good but he needs to add more defenders, the Left back is an issue. And one centre Defender it's okay for this team.
They're are young good defenders out there for Ten Hag to buy and not Cucurela, the Manchester United fans don't want any more players from Chelsea after Mason Mount.

I'll not be surprised if Ten Hag sign more players in the deadline day. Untill then let's keep watching.
Well the left back role is one which Manchester needs to strengthen, either for  a permanent transfer or a loan deal, they've  had their key players in that role injured and would need a serious replacement while the work on strengthing other roles as well, and if you noticed in the match against Nottingham Forest,  the opposition team kept pressing from Dalot wing cause they knew its not his preferred role and he was playing out of position, so Manchester needs to act fast so Arsenal won't take advantage of that role in their next match.
So far their are several players Erik is eyeing for that role and he's listed Cucurella, Marco s Alonso, and Sergio Reguillon as his options to replace Shaw  but lately there's another name being rumored that Ten Hag is really interested in getting which is Nicolas Tagliafico who's worked with him at Ajax.

Well lately I see Ten Hag is very busy with the transfer of several players who are on his radar, yes I quite agree with you that Manchester United now still has a good and strong midfielder, as you said they still have great strength and still have great balance in midfield, and Ten Hag should be thinking about what he needs more. I mean better use that money to fill the void they really need like paying attention to the Manchester United backline. That seems quite excessive and is clearly a waste if they spend money on players they don't really need. The Premier League has just started and maybe Ten Hag wants something significant for his squad by adding a lot of strength and also spending a lot of money this season. Regarding their relatively weak defense, now I hear the latest rumors that Ten Hag is eyeing a player from Barcelona, namely Marcos Alonso, to fill the back line, and it is reported that they have received the green light from Barcelona regarding the agreement. If in the end Ten Hag manages to get him then most likely his squad will be perfectly formed, various sides are filled with strong players, and it is very likely that for some time to come Manchester United will be a quite difficult competitor for Manchester City in the trophy hunt at the end season.

Manchester City is still dominating the League this season, because Pep Guardiola already has players who are in accordance with his portions and they don't even waste money, but Pep Guardiola has followed the process of forming the Manchester City squad this season, here it is very visible from the two coaches who have instinct in assessing players. he is young, and makes a player who can be relied on in the team, Erik ten Hag should be able to learn from Manchester City who are able to change their squad from mediocre to players who have the quality and mentality of a champion, not just wasting money and making players only residents of the capital. Of course, but at least the purchase is not in vain and can be useful for the current squad and can work with Manchester United players.

There have been some names lined up to fill LB of manchester united. As far as i know if manchester united has not yet decided which player that's gonna be buying by united. We are very close to the september. It pushes ten hag to take final decision as soon as possible. Pierre's price has been inflated, and it's hard for united to buy him at this moment. I think that taking cucurela from chelsea is far better rather than buying a permanent transfer at this moment. It's caused by united needs to find new LB as soon as possible before the end of transfer season. It's not possible to be realized due to the financial problem that happens with united. United prefers to take new player as a loan instead of buying the new player as permanent transfer. It's not possible to get alonso as a loan from barcelona.
Barcelona is still using marcos on its main squad. It is possible to acquire either Pierre or Cucurela, but I believe Cucurela would be the superior option, as MU could secure him on loan.

I wouldn't say Chelsea was stupid or Inter was smart because Lukaku was worth for such big amount at that time, Chelsea was making mistake, but this kind problem has to way to know if Lukaku will not able to play in Chelsea as good as he used in Inter.

I guess this is the best possibility for Lukaku and Roma as well as probably Chelsea as well. I mean sure Chelsea would rather sell him to some Saudi Arabian team for 50 million or something, but the realistic approach was just not have him on their books and not pay his salary and still make some money from him. Roma needed a striker until Abraham returns back, and for as cheap as this price, they won't be able to find anyone even close, and Lukaku wanted to play at a top place in a top league, which he sort of got, sure Roma may not be the best team in Italy, but he is still playing in the league he likes so much, for a top 5-7 level team. This is a good case for everyone.

It seemed to me that intermiami had a dream in reviving old barcelona again. The latest news said that if intermiami is trying to approach vidal to join on its club.

Quote
Lionel Messi may be lined up for a reunion with another former Barcelona team-mate, with Arturo Vidal open to the idea of joining Inter Miami.
https://www.goal.com/en/lists/lionel-messi-reunite-another-barcelona-team-mate-arturo-vidal-inter-miami-transfer/blt92d5f14ad93dc57b#cs74ab2e4f6f337bb5

Old barcelona will be revived in MLS as beckham is trying to get more and more former of barcelona players to join on its club. Pique shall become a good choice for the club or even dani alves. It's possible for the players who already announced retire from football to make their comeback again as players. Gerrard pique is still healthy and he can still play football. Intermiami can try to approach him as well. Beckham is trying to build the hype of old barcelona in MLS league.

It surprises me caused by i never though if beckham was aiming to recruit vidal to join in intermiami.

Yes, it is a good solution for Alonso to discuss his future more seriously with Manchester United. With Barcelona's unhealthy financial condition, he had to become a "victim". Alonso is a typical wing-back who is quite experienced, of course he will greatly contribute to the Red Devils. I really agree if this transfer happens and hope that Erik Ten Hag is really serious about bringing him to Old Trafford.
Marcos Alonso is likely to leave and there is a chance that Manchester United is the next club he is moving to. The PL is calling him. I say this because he is yet to be registered yet for his current team. Although he was initially brought in for one season, Alonso's contract was extended until 2024, though he's been used more as a central player by Xavi, despite being a natural left-back. I think it is time he left because he is not needed in Xavi's teams and besides his departure will not affect the team's dynamics or plans.
It's true, Marcos Alonso will leave and seek new challenges in his career. If he does join Manchester United, of course it will be a big step for him. Alonso has an impressive track record and a player of his caliber is sure to be in demand at many good clubs. Whatever the decision, hopefully he can find an environment that suits his abilities and continues to develop as a player with the team of his choice. We can only wait and see how it develops.

I don't know, but I wouldn't call it an impressive track record. He has had some good times, but he also sat on the bench many games and he is going to turn 33 years of age this year. When he wants to go to one of the top clubs, I think his chances to become a core player for the team are not that good. There is a reason that he never had his breakthrough in the Spanish national team either.

I think that he would probably be acquired as a backup player by Manchester United if that is true. They seem to want him as a loan player and I think if he is physically in shape and doesn't get injured, he might have a great season ahead of him. But his career is now approaching the end for sure.

Well that's right, there is currently good news from Barcelona for Manchester United, where Barcelona reportedly allowed Manchester United to bring the talented defender to join Ten Hag's squad this summer, and obviously on the other hand this deal will be able to fulfill Manchester United's needs at the back. Ten Hag is indeed in need of power in the sector, I see Ten Hag very serious in his actions to recruit Marcos Alonso because it is indeed a typical player who is needed to strengthen the back line. As we know Barcelona are currently experiencing problems in their finances, and according to the news I heard they will give Marcos Alonso to Manchester United on loan, this could be a solution for Barcelona and indeed useful to reduce the salary expenses that Barcelona must spend on players. If Marcos Alonso leaves, then the salary burden that Barcelona has to spend will be slightly reduced, and besides that he is also no longer the main defender there, because Xavi prefers to play Alejandro Balde. That's right, I hope this deal will be mutually beneficial and with this good news, it looks like the deal will happen soon.

Macnshter United is trying to fill Luke Shaw's empty place in their team and that's why they are trying to hire Marcos Alonso from Barcelona.
Marcos Alonso played for Barcelona in the last game against Villarreal but his contract is not registered in La Liga because of financial issues and that's why there is a chance for Marcos Alonso to leave Barcelona and Manchester United is the possible destination for this player.

It might be a good idea for Manchester United to sign Marco Alonso from Barcelona before closing the transfer window. Manchester United have suffered injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, so now they are looking for their replacements. Barcelona put a Spanish fullback on the market for good offers. Despite Marco Alonso being happy in La Liga and having no intention to leave Barcelona, the approaching point is that Barcelona will extend his contract in January 2023 with a €50 million release clause, but Alonso's renewal was not registered by La Liga. For registration, €9 million is required in salary space, but unfortunately, Barca can't afford it. So the key point is that Marco Alonso has no possibility of staying in La Liga.
Anyway, Marco Alonso also has previous experience with the EPL, so it seems that Marco Alonso would be a better signing than Marc Cucurella and Sergio Reguilon.

Only if barcelona will let alonso to leave from the club. MU has not yet determined its choice. Romano has been reporting that if ten hag is still discussing with its team to pick which player that fit to the manchester united at this moment.
https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1696295291241046028
The discussion is still ongoing at this moment.  Let's wait 1 or 2 days more to see the final decision about which player that's gonna be approached by ten hag.
ten haag needs to take the final decision as soon as possible caused by we are only a few days away from the closing of summer transfer season.

Ten hag needs to approach the choosen one as soon as possible. There's also possibility for his offer to be rejected by the player.

Manchester United are closing in on Altay Bayindir transfer. He is going to England to sign for them officially. He has already had his medical for Manchester United. I'm still surprised about this transfer. Because his performance in the recent times has been really poor. Fenerbahce were just looking for a way to replace him.

They have signed Livakovic officially and made their move finally. But I guess that they weren't expecting to find a team for Altay right away.

Manchester United have 3 goalkeepers normally but Tom Heaton is injured and return date is unknown. This must be why they wanted to bring another goalkeeper.

Three goalkeepers? But seriously, what are they for? ( Giggling ) What's more important for Manchester United is to sign another midfielder to replace the exit of Fred and alsoo with Mason Mount and Luke Shaw Injured for a month or two those are areas to look out for not signing goalkeepers that will remain on high and huge pays doing nothing.
I still ask myself what's the delay when it comes to selling of the club and also getting Amrabat a done deal from Florentina!

I'm also disappointed with Erik Ten Hag, dropping Pelistri ( The Uruguayan ) on the bench in no good idea. He is more of a very straightforward player unlike Anthony and Antonio Martial. They're nothing but big time gamblers joking about with the ball on the pitch, such players has got no set goals to achieve personally for themselves so they can't grow.

Yeah still their priority mustn't be to sign a goalkeeper right now. Manchester United would make use of a midfielder as soon as possible. The number of alternative players for the defensive and central midfield areas isn't so many now. There has been a quite visible problem in the midfield recently too.

Manchester United can't stand still against their opponents these days. Their defending is quite problematic and it isn't only due to defenders. It is because of midfielders too. Eriksen is playing beside Casemiro now. Eriksen isn't playing in that position actually. By finding a replacement for Fred they can have a better rotation for the midfield.
