Maybe Roberto Mancini and Marco Verratti will be reunited soon. Both can play in Saudi Arabia and earn a lot of money, none has signed yet. But in Al-Nassr and Ronaldo there are news. Otavio comes from FC Porto in Portugal to Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo and he know each other from the nationalteam. And noow another Portuguese in the team, because the coach Luis Castro also comes from Portugal. But so far Al-Hilal has spent the most moneyfor new players, over 350 million euros.
It looks like Veratti's transfer can be forgotten as he significantly increased the financial requirements, this angered Al-Hilal and they stopped further negotiations. Perhaps Veratti thought he deserved it in Saudi Arabia, but the club's management is of a different opinion. I don’t know who is right in this situation and who is not, Saudi Arabia is not a very attractive country for football players, and they want to compensate this with big money, but apparently not everyone is ready to pay big money.
Verratti and al hilal have been reaching an verbal agreement since last month, but since there's no further talk between al hilal and PSG. I think that verratti will not go there. Al arabi has become a new candidate to get him from PSG.
Romano has been reported that if al arabi is trying to approach him at this moment. I expect if his transfer may be secured by al arabi. I will prefer verratti to go to the al arabi rather than al hilal. It will be so good if all of arabian club will have european players rather then being centralized into the 4 - 6 teams.
@Cryptmuster,
But they are still paying good money to him, right? More than what he is going to be offered in Europe. At least as far as I know. And I don’t think anyone is actually in the wrong here. Because the player wants to get more money if he is going to sacrifice playing in European competition. And the club is already offering him good money and do not want to give too much because they also have to think about the expenses. No one is actually in the wrong here. It is just things not working out. Just because the negotiation between two parties did not work out, does not mean that one is in the wrong.
