Al-Nassr has again moved to secure additional European football for his squad this season and they have reached a verbal agreement to sign Otavio from Porto. It seems that Al-Nassr also feels the lack of squad depth compared to other Saudi league sides and they will trigger a €60 million fee clause for Otavio.
In addition, it seems that Otavio at such a mature age will no longer have any interest in European competition if he chooses to join Al-Nassr and it is certain that he will follow in the footsteps of the captain in his Portugal national team, namely Cristiano Ronaldo. It seems that in the near future if everything goes as planned, we will see Otavio don the Al-Nassr jersey.
If Otavio manages to sign a transfer contract with Al Nassr this could be good news for Al Nassr's development in the 2023/24 season because from the last few matches Al Nassr does seem to lack a mature line of attack and with Otavio joining it is hoped that this will change.
Al Nassr has always dared to take action by spending large amounts of money for the development of their club and this is the that's all time Al Nassr has bought European players at fantastic prices.
During this 1 month from mid-July until now, almost at the end of August, Al Nassr has at least succeeded in bringing in 4 players at once and now they will be bringing in the 5th, namely Otavio from Porto.
