This news shouldn't be too surprising, Neymar is no longer needed by PSG especially since he is often absent due to injury. PSG benefited from selling Neymar to Al Hillal, then returning to the lenient Mbappe to accept a new offer from PSG. Maybe this was planned from the start, regardless of the final decision both parties have made peace with each other. It is possible that next season Mbappe will extend his contract or with a new version of the drama again. After Al Hillal lost to Al Nassr in the final maybe it's time for them to add a striker but it's a shame that Neymar choice will always have problems rather than playing a lot on the field.
Neymar's injury is long enough if it happens then this is the right decision for PSG to sell Neymar to get a profit of €100M plus Mbappe will stay according to the expectations of the PSG team he wants.

Yes there could be a scenario behind it, we see they are not harmonious but with Neymar sold will Mbappe prosper there? But at least with Neymar's move there is a bit of a surprise that he will stay in Europe of course many are associated with Barcelona again, that effort has been overtaken by Al Hilal with an offer of so much money received by Neymar during his two year contract.

Now the Saudi Professional League is full of star players in it, Neymar is already a deal, I think there will be many other players who follow behind him.

Neymar is set to undergo his medical examination in Paris within the next few hours, before finalizing a 2-season contract with Al-Hilal. This transfer is expected to bring in just under €100 million for PSG, including bonuses. Following his medical, Neymar is anticipated to make his way to Riyadh sometime this week. I'm not surprised by this transfer, since the rumors first emerged, I was already convinced that Neymar would move to the Arab league, as his high salary makes it impossible for European clubs to sign him.
Neymar must be cashed in by his owner's club to maintain business stability. When Neymar went to Al Hilal for an outstanding transfer fee of €100m including bonuses, from a business perspective PSG had made a profit since Neymar joined from Barcelona.
I am also not surprised by this sale of Neymar, because PSG may know that Neymar still has a current market price of around €60.00m even though Neymar's highest transfer was €180.00m (Jan 24, 2018).

How can you say that if PSG had made profit since he joined from barcelona. PSG bought neymar by activated his release clause, which was around €222m. PSG is now selling him to the far less compared to when the club bought him. Unlike mbappe which is still having stable value.
The market value can't be used as a benchmark in determining the price of a player. PSG was still at a big loss.

If they don't accept the bid proposal from Al Hilal, it is likely that next season Neymar's market price will continue to decline considering he is already 31 years old and Neymar is also prone to injury.

PSG already accepted it and we shall not worry about that. Neymar has been agreed with al hilal's offer. He will be doing medical test very soon. Neymar may able to recover from his injury as soon as possible.
PSG is now completing one of the most important step to sell him to the saudi club. A good move by PSG to replace him with dembele as a new winger. PSG needs to get more money caused by the club is in preparation reforming its club again.

The club needs to sign more players to strengthen its club. The rumor neymar comeback to the barcelona was fake rumor.

It's nice to see Neymar team up with the likes of  Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic at Al-Hilal, It obvious that a mouthwatering offer worth €100 million paid to PSG is too massive to be rejected by the club considering lack of game time of Neymar Jr due to injury in PSG and lives a lavish lifestyle in Paris, though he is a very skillful and talented player if fit, it's now obvious that all the Saudi Arabian bound European based players are after money even players who are not close to retirement like Neymar couldn't resist the juicy contract offered by Al-Hilal which I believe will be more than what he earns in PSG.

Haven't heard about the news for a long time, now the former Arsenal and Liverpool player has joined Besiktas in the Turkish league for the next 3 years. After not being without a club since the end of June we can finally see where his future will take him. Chamberlain is a good player and maybe only Besiktas are willing to sign him. On the other hand, I also never heard of any offers from the Saudi league before considering that Henderson and Fabinho had already joined the Saudi league. Well, at least a pretty good decision was made by Chamberlain and he can at least participate in one of the European competitions whether it's the UCL or the European leagues later.

I knew that after losing the Arab club championship cup to their arch rival Al-Hilal that they'll definitely get new signings that would help strengthen the club in preparation of the season against rivalry teams and that why they've decision to get Neymar though I feel  the money they offered is too much for an injury prone player that can play for 2months without sustaining and injury neymar is a skillful player and would want to play and entertaining kind of football and dribbles alot and that style of play attracts injury.
I don't think at the moment most top European club would come for him due to his much injury spells  and he knew he won't get much praying time at PSG that's why he decided to seize the opportunity and move to where he could get playing time, also the kind of money he'll receive is enough to make him change his mind and decide to move to Al-Hilal.
Al Hilal having seen that most of the top Saudi Arabian clubs has strengthened their teams by signing high profile European based players knows that they need to sign few more European big stars in other to competitive enough to face their opponents and signing Neymar will be a nice decision to achieve their aim.
Neymar would bring great quality to the Saudi club if his transfer is finalized. His only problem which has always plagued him is the constant injuries he does suffer but if he can find a way to solve that issue, he'll make a great signing for the Saudi club

The latest news from Fabrizio Romano says that Neymar will undergo a medical test today before later being inaugurated as an official Al-Hilal player and even PSG also received a fantastic fee with the sale of Neymar, around 100 million euros, at least PSG's capital was spent on recruiting Neymar from Barcelona in 2017 then still has 50%. Maybe there is a point in Neymar trying to avoid competitions like the champions league because the competitive level is so high that he is afraid of injury and if he joins Al-Hilal on a 2 year contract then it will coincide with what he wants to defend Brazil for the last time on the world cup in 2026. So I think your opinion is quite reasonable.
I predicted earlier that Neymar would stay amidst the speculation over Mbappe future that has not found clarity so far. But the news from Fabrizio Romano could be coming true soon, Neymar will continue his football career in the SPL. I think for now no club is willing to bet on recruiting the Basil player, apart from the high price and salary, the factor of frequent injuries makes Neymar less interested.

Al Hilal came with a fantastic offer, PSG was saved in this transfer saga. At least they can cover some of their expenses when recruiting Neymar from Barcelona.

After being linked with Inter this time Balogun is speculated with Tottenham now. Because as you know Tottenham have just lost Harry Kane to Bayern Munich so they are in need of a striker now. They have Son and Richarlison who can play in this position maybe but I don't know if any of them would perform the same as Kane.

Balogun doesn't guarantee anything either maybe but he can at least become a useful player there.

By the way he was quite a beneficial player for Reims last season by scoring 21 goals in 37 matches. This is pretty nice stats for a 22-year-old scorer.  Smiley

However joining Al-Hilal is the most realistic thing and there is no other option for him to stay at PSG or Europe. He doesn't need to work hard anymore because he has won all the competitions in Europe.
Football is a talent that can win you recognition from medals and also bring a lot of money. In a situation where you have won many medals in your career and looking forward you see that you may not be able to win that number of medals anymore, it is best to just settle for a good financial deal. For Neymar, it is really good for him because he will be offered a very good deal better than most European players that have already moved there. He has not yet won the world cup with Brazil, so he can prepare for it and focus on that while he plays in Saudi league where he will be without the pressure of playing in the champions league.

Even though Neymar moved to an Arab club, I'm not sure if it's only for the salary or if there are no offers from other clubs. Neymar condition is injury-prone and playing in Arab will not have a big impact. I know Arab clubs are always trying to target Europe's top players this year, and if you look at Al Hillal composition, they actually have a pretty good squad. Neymar's arrival is only a matter of salary, and for matters of appearance there, of course, you won't expect much.
This is a good news to he Saudi Arabic pro league, Neymar present will add more value to the league. Neymar will is one of the best players in the world, he has good influence in the game,  he made the right choice for choosing to play in the Saudi Arabic pro league. this league is the fastest growing league in the world right now, they have really done well in the market. Hopefully the competition between AlHilal and Alnassr will be tough, Al HIlal has the highest squad with top players, follow by Alnassr.

Let's just be clear about one thing. Players signing for Saudi Arabia teams aren't going for real competition. They are just going there for money. Players like Ronaldo, Benzema and so on have also gone there for money that's all. Because these teams are offering unbelievable amount of money to players.

They don't have anything such as FFP rules that restricts expenditures. Therefore they can sign whoever they would like by spending whatever amount of money they would like. Neymar is going to be another world star transfer for these teams and no wonder they will pay a lot of money (maybe double or triple the money he earns now) for his salary.
Thus, it is right that Saudi Arabia (SPL) is not the competing league, and neither are the players going to the Saudi Pro League for competition. It is simple: how many players were moved, and now how many players are going to the SPL just because of money? including Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Kante, Mane, Henderson, Mahrez, Fabinho, Brozovic etc. In this group of players, no one has moved for legacy or competition; they just moved for money. Saudi Arabia's side tries to use big salaries to lure players from Europe's top five leagues (in England, Spain, Germany, Italy, and France). This greed for money attracted many players, and now Neymar is also taking an interest in the Saudi Pro League instead of playing in Europe. Neymar is not just taking an interest, despite the fact that he personally agrees with Saudi Club Al-Hilal. The Saudi League is offering players an unprecedented salary package to attract them. So everyone understands that money is just a key factor in these transfers.

It seems to have become clear why Mancini left the Italian national team so suddenly. He was offered to coach the Saudi Arabian national team for 40 million euros a year and a 3-year contract.
https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Nazionale/14-08-2023/mancini-c-t-dell-arabia-i-dettagli-dell-offerta.shtml
The amount of course fantastic 120 million for 3 years and the Saudi clubs and the national team just revolutionized the soccer market this year.

Previously more than 100 million I think even coaches of European and world champions did not receive, and now you can earn hundreds of millions a year and support yourself for the rest of your life.

The price for the two midfielders is almost equivalent to an existing squad of any other team. I wouldn't say football nearly died, for fear of offending people. I once said that whoever has a lot of money, he will succeed in getting players who are considered great even though the results may not necessarily match the purchase price.
True but so many things were affecting the price of players these days, just because some clubs were buying some players with crazy price and it doesn't mean if the league will be dead. I can't agree with this. The fact that if chelsea was still buying some players with cheap price as well.
The club is still using players from its own acedemic. That proves that if chelsea was signing the player to fill the important spots. Calling football nearly die is a non sense thing.
Some players need to be priced so high but this depends on the club who own the contract. Chelsea and arsenal will not buy caicedo and rice with expensive price if brighton and westham were not putting high price for those players.
There are players that mere looking at their quality you can see they've what it takes to give your team the results you're in for, and with how advanced and business-looking football had become today every club wants to make the most out of their player when put on market, especially if he's the player of the moment with multiple clubs coming for him. So it doesn't mean anything like football has died or it's dieing. Let's just accept the how revolutionized football has become while expecting more of these changes in coming years.
Congratulations to Caicedo for choosing to accept Chelsea offer over Liverpool who have confirmed they are ready to welcome him at Anfield.
Caicedo was doing U turn at the last minutes. Chelsea already linked to the several players to complete the transfer season. Lavia and olise may come to the SB soon.

The club is still looking for a new striker at this moment. I wonder who will be going to be a candidate for temporary striker to replace nkuku which was injured.
Caceido, one thing I can is that he kept to his word of coming to Chelsea, while Chelsea on their part had to outsmart Liverpool with a non-contestable fee for the lad.
Now anyone can look at Chelsea defensive midfield and be confident of something of a defense, Enzo, Caceido and hopefully with Lavia on one side that would be awesome to see both trio play on the pitch.

Give all before death
Mbappe chose to take a middle path after his move to Real Madrid failed, in my opinion the decision Mbappe made was to save his career after his name was not included in the PSG squad against Lorient in the first week of Ligue 1. In the new contract submitted by PSG there is a guarantee clause for Mbappe to leave PSG in the summer of 2024, this agreement will benefit PSG and Mbappe, he could still play for PSG this season and go to Real Madrid in 2024 if Real Madrid are willing to pay Mbappe release clause.
The new contract that Mbappe agreed with PSG will influence Real Madrid's decision to sign Mbappe in the summer of 2024 for free. Real Madrid, who are still expecting Mbappe presence in their squad, must discourage their intention of getting Mbappe for free because the strategy used by PSG to prevent Mbappe from leaving for free is going according to what they planned.
This deal is the most reasonable move for both parties. Mbappe knew that PSG is willing to dump him for one year without considering the consequences. He would have sat on the bench and become redundant for one season. Now he has the opportunity of contributing to the team and winning trophies this season. The club has also achieved its aim by persuading the French striker to extend his contract to 2025 with a clause that guarantees that he can leave at the end of next season. At least the PSG will get some revenue from his contract next year. Real Madrid is the only party that lost in this battle for the future of Mbappe. The free transfer Real was believing to gain in the future is now off the table, they will have to pay to gain his services.

This means that Neymar is only one step away from joining Al-Hilal and reportedly Al-Hilal has also ordered his medical test. It seems that Neymar's career is over in Europe and even if he wants to leave PSG, there should already be a team interested in bidding for him, but with his injury-prone condition, some of Europe's top teams don't want to sign him and will only harm the squad instead. However joining Al-Hilal is the most realistic thing and there is no other option for him to stay at PSG or Europe.
Neymar has always enjoyed the benefit of earning the highest wages in Europe. We need to consider if Neymar is willing to cut down his earnings and if there is any club that is willing to pay for his service. In Al-Hilal Neymar will get the respect and money he always had in Europe. Based on his current form, the Saudi league will be the best for him.

Quote
He doesn't need to work hard anymore because he has won all the competitions in Europe.
The Saudi League is not an easy place to play football. The game there is physical and the players are strong and fit. Neymar needs to train hard to be able to make an impact in that league. Ronaldo is a hard worker which is why he has started making an impact.

Neymar update

Neymar was just approving if he will be moving to the al hilal. Finally, al hilal's dream was coming true. I hope that he will accept al hilal's proposal as soon as possible.
Neymar is not an important player for PSG. He is injury prone. There's no need to defend him any more. Just exchange him with almost 200 millions of money still worthy. The market value doesn't matter in the player transfer.
