He fascinated people with his performance in the World Cup as well which drew the attention of top teams more. There is a quite number of centre-backs in the squad maybe but it might not take Gvardiol much time to consolidate his place in the starting eleven as long as he plays his usual game.
It is very easy for Manchester City to get any player of their choice since they have shown that they can win any competition that they play. Many players will not find it difficult choosing the club as where they will like to play in. Gvardiol was a very good Croatian player in the world cup at his very young age. I am sure he will fit quickly and become a normal first team player for Manchester City as they prepare to defend the three competitions that they won last season. I think it was a stress-free deal for Manchester City.

There are reports that Aubameyang is poised to sign a three-year deal with Olympique Marseille. I feel that despite his poor spell in Chelsea last season, his reputation still remains strong and he has been subject of interest from a number of major European clubs. Also he has been among the Premier League players wanted by clubs in Saudi Arabia. It’s surprising that he isn’t attracted by the offers of these Saudi Arabian clubs. Seems he wants to play UCL football and Marseille can offer that at the moment.

Aubameyang has a strong reputation because despite him poor performances and lack of games for Chelsea, Barcelona still considered bringing him back to the club, now Olympique Marseille are also keen on bringing the striker to France. Aubameyang has really done well for himself in the past years to earn such reputation. I would say his name has not crossed the minds of Saudi clubs yet or the big clubs in the league all have good players in that position in their squads.

Cuadrado is now officially an Inter player.
Something that seemed impossible given his previous 8 years spent with Juventus.

Gvardiol transfer is about to get official for Manchester City!

There is an agreement on transfer fee finally and Manchester City have already agreed personal terms with the player. This is going to be another wonderful transfer for them surely. Besides it is a great investment thinking of the future also. Because Gvardiol is one of the special defenders who is this much good at this age already.

Probably Manchester City are still evaluating their options and have not arrived at a conclusion whether or not they need to sell Bernardo Silva or consider him still an important player for them in the coming season else they would be making plans already to get suitable replacement for him. Barcelona and PSG are prepared to battle for who will get his signature this summer. It is up to Manchester City to decide if they will sell.
City have already lost Gundogan this offseason and letting Silva go is not a good thing as they are two very strong main team players. Guardiola understands this well and although there are no irreplaceable players, he understands that it will take a lot of time to find a worthy replacement, I doubt that Guardiola would like to let go of a player like Silva. Donnarumma is a very good goalkeeper by the way and I would be interested to see him in City.

Now with his actual condition and performance already much reduced it is not too good that he waited too long.
The option for Inter at the moment seems to be lost because Inter are quite disappointed with what Lukaku is doing at the moment and it is evident that Inter are currently looking for several options for new strikers such as Morata who is currently being contested by 3 other Serie A clubs.
On the other hand, Milan also seem to change their path and do not really expect Lukaku back like some previous rumours and currently the choices are only Arab League or Juventus.
He could still be at Chelsea but I'm pretty sure most of what he did at Chelsea was on the bench.
Lukaku fate was very unlucky in this transfer window because previously Inter Milan really wanted Lukaku to return to Inter Milan next season. However, Inter Milan finally withdrew from Lukaku transfer after learning that Lukaku was in contact with Juventus. Ac milan was only present as a cheerleader in Lukaku transfer but they have no serious interest in Lukaku.

Yes, only Juventus remains as a team that wants to get Lukaku in this transfer window. Lukaku is automatically not an option for Pochettino after he said emphatically that Lukaku would not be his priority for next season. Chelsea seems to be having trouble selling Lukaku in this transfer window because Lukaku only wants to stay in Europe, making the situation more complicated because not a single European team is really serious about bringing in Lukaku after Inter milan stopped their intention to buy Lukaku.
Seeing from his condition, he actually decided for it himself so Inter immediately pulled out when they found Lukaku in talks with Juventus.
Now conditions are a little complicated for Lukaku because previously if Inter tried to bring him even with a slightly long negotiation process, but this time the possibility is small after seeing the current conditions.
It only remains to wait whether Chelsea are really serious about bringing Dusan or not because this could be a domino effect for Lukaku too.
But if in the end this fails then the possibility of Lukaku is increasingly difficult to be in European competition, even though it can still be but the possibility of staying at Chelsea with the status of a reserve player is like a certainty.

News in Italy: Juan Cuadrado is 35 years and he play another season in Serie A. Not for Juventus, but for Inter Milan. He moves without transfer fee and it will possibly be his last stop in Italy. He has played for Juventus, Florence, Udinese Calcio and Lecce, in total more than 360 Serie A games. He has played for Juventus since 2017, before that he was loaned to Chelsea, but was still under contract at Juve. Now for Inter Milan, lets see how often he plays.

Yes that is very likely his last club then, but I did like his dribblings a lot. He had great pace with the ball and his 1vs1 was pretty strong. But his biggest weakness was his inconsistency at times. He had some games where he underperformed despite his quality being so convincing. He is one of those players who can make the difference, but then it doesn't happen often enough. Still good to have him around and on a good day he can contribute some important moves to the game.

Congratulations to him. I saw the update some hours ago. I still remember when Cuardrado was a big star and made his name in the football industry. I used to enjoy watching him play. But since Juventus took a downward spiral for years now, Cuadrado isn't as good as he once was. Good thing He has moved to Inter which seems like a team that has a knack for competing for trophies.  Also, he would get the opportunity to play some European football. These are his last days and he should enjoy it at Inter.

Cuadrado still has two more seasons left in him and he can see out the rest of his career at Inter. Good luck to him.

The situation with Lukaku is still not clear. Few days ago, I read that he will resume training as a Chelsea player for preseasons and that Inter Milan had withdrawn from signing him and it is also not certain if he will want to move to Juventus because he might consider that move as betraying his former club. What decision he will make remains a mystery to all and I hope he makes the right one for the sake of his career.

Lukaku to Juventus does not appear to be a viable option. I also observed on a TV news a few days ago that some Juventus fans were chanting in front of the stadium that they did not want Lukaku. I don't think Lukaku will join a team where he will be unappreciated or disliked by the fans. He should reevaluate his choices, and I hope he takes the best decision for his career.

The possible sale of Bernando Silva by Manchester City this transfer season appears to be uncertain. He's a fantastic player who was constantly in Pep Guardiola's starting lineup last season. He's been connected to Barcelona in the past, but I'm not sure about PSG. Moving to any of those clubs now will be contingent on his decision, as well as where he stands to benefit by next season if he remains at Manchester City. Pep likes to change his starting 11 every season; he might not be lucky enough to be in his first 11 by next season, but the likelihood of that happening is still quite low.

Bernardo Silva has so far not received any news from Manchester City about a contract extension, which has led to rumors of Bernardo Silva leaving the club. Since PSG have already lost some players, PSG will have a chance to sign this Man City player. PSG may not have much money ready for Bernardo Silva. Bernardo Silva won't join PSG if he doesn't get a good money offer from PSG.

According to your information Al Hilal can make big offer to Bernardo Silva to join Saudi League but I think Bernardo Silva will not go to Saudi League at the moment. If Barcelona are interested in signing Bernardo Silva, he may be able to sign Barcelona's interest. If he leaves Manchester City and joins Barcelona, his football career should not be bad for him.

Personally, I had a strong feeling that Inter did not really want to keep Lukaku and took advantage of the first occasion that came along, such as Lukaku's personal contacts with Juventus, not to make this deal. Lukaku's playing reputation is ambiguous now, and therefore I even wonder why Juventus suddenly decided to join the fight for the player.
No, Inter is still want to keep Lukaku, but they just want don't want to spend huge money to sign him. It's all depend on Lukaku decision whether he want to join Inter or Juventus, Juventus have offer better monthly salary and higher bid for Chelsea. I think the reason is Juventus don't have any other good striker except Vlahovic, so Lukaku can be a substitute player. There's a rumor where Vlahovic will join PSG or Arsenal, so that's why they're looking for a new striker.

The deed has already been done. Erik Ten Hag has already made the decision to appoint a new captain for the coming season since Harry Maguire has not been living up to expectations and standards befitting as the captain.

It's a good decision and in a team like United, someone with strong figure needs to lead the team. Personally, I haven't seen Maguire with such leadership skills. United needs a better captain and I think it was a very good decision. Yeah, it must be frustrating for Maguire but he also should understand the challenges in such reputed team and should have done better with his leadership skills when he was the captain.

From one aspect I think it is not fair to pass such judgement and on another view I think it is for the betterment of the squad as he is suppose to lead by example.

Seems like you are feeling sorry for Maguire but in a team with so many top players, it is natural that there will be competition from other players for the captain armband. Maguire lost it because he didn't had the best leadership skills that's it. ten Haag is making hard decisions and to be honest it is about time to make such harsh changes otherwise things will be same year after year.

After going through rumors for several weeks, Liverpool and Al-Ettifaq finally reached an agreement to sign Jordan Henderson. In these negotiations Jordan Henderson agreed to a contract for 3 years and the cost is around 12 million euros plus add ons. It looks like Steven Gerrard is very adamant about signing Jordan Henderson and with this, we will see the two former Liverpool captains join the same team in the Saudi league starting next season. I didn't think that Jordan Henderson would agree to this transfer and maybe again the salary offer that was given was very tempting for any European player at this time.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1681705250091147265
This is another plus to the Saudi League and Steven Gerrard. Jordan Henderson is an experienced player that will assist to coordinate the Al-Ettifaq team. The terms of the contract were not revealed but Liverpool wanted to get at least €10m from this transfer while Al-Ettifaq wanted the experienced defender for free. This signing will open doors to more players from Europe. Al-Ettifaq needs more players to enable compete favorably with other teams like Al Hilal, Al Nassr, and Al Ittihad which have attracted some quality players.

I do not think that the question of the next season is relevant at the moment - everything should be decided now. If Kane leaves for free, then Tottenham will be in a big loss, so if Kane's departure is a definite thing, and the club knows it, then they are obliged to sell him now. The situation is similar with Mbappe, so I hope to see these two transfers now and not in a year.
Tottenham have not mandated him to sign a new contract for now. Maybe they aim to keep him for one more season because he will be useful for them to compete for the league trophy or secure a champion league slot. But if the club wants to consider the business part of the deal, the best option will be to make him extend his contract or sell him this season. Besides these two options, Tottenham will lose close to €100m if they let him leave for free next season.

Manchester City are surprisingly now interested in signing Brazilian and Barcelona star Raphinha as a replacement for Riyad Mahrez who will move to Saudi Arabia soon. Raphinha's career in Barcelona is not so bad, but not the best we expect a player of his quality to deliver. If he moves to Manchester City either on a full contract or on loan, Pep will make a monster out of him.
Raphinha might be a good player option to replace Riyad Mahrez. Pep has a good assessment of Raphinha, who won the main place in Xavi's squad the previous season. he helped Barca a lot last season.
Chelsea also reportedly want Raphinha, but a month ago it seemed that Raphinha still wanted to stay in Barcelona. but all possibilities can happen if there is an attractive offer to Barcelona. especially if Xavi wants a player who can be exchanged with Raphinha.
Riyad Mahrez out, Raphinha in?
Pep really admires Raphinha and sees him a top priority to replace Riyad Mahrez. However, I do believe there are better options available. While Raphinha could perform well, he's not an exact like-for-like replacement for Mahrez. And the outcome will depend on whether Manchester City is willing to meet Barcelona's asking fees for Raphinha.

Whatever it is, I think Barcelona is going to ask for a good amount of money from Manchester City for Raphinha. I still do not have any idea about how much money Barcelona is actually going to ask from Manchester City. But I believe Manchester City might actually find other players for that amount of money. Of course, I am just assuming. But the asking price is certainly going to be a big one. I also don’t think it is going to be the best replacement as you said. But I think if they can actually get him for a decent amount of money, he will actually be a good investment for Manchester City.

Maguire adapted perfectly to the style of play in England and his previous club Leicester city, where he was praised as a hero and had a fantastic gameplay in the 2017/2017 season that prompted the then manchester united coach Ole Gunner Solskjaer to buy him for a record fee of £80m as his third signing, and was assigned the role of the club captain shortly after his arrival.
But since then he's refused to leave up to standard and adapt well to the style of play of the team, for the past years, making him to loose his place in the starting 11 in the last concluded season, I feel pity for him cause he's been ridiculed by most fans and has been the one of the most dragged players on social media due to his numerous errors and incompetence, therefore it's no surprise to me that the current coach Eric ten Hag is wanting to strip him of the role of the captain.
And hand it over to his preferred successor the Portuguese midfielder and playmaker Bruno Fernandes who has proved himself worthy of wearing the armband in the previous season and seasons before. Well due to the personal  training session he's had recently with the Chelsea fc legend Ricardo Calvarho this summer, only time will tell if he'll be able to adapt to Erik Ten Hags style of play this season and take back his position in the starting 11 eleven.
The deed has already been done. Erik Ten Hag has already made the decision to appoint a new captain for the coming season since Harry Maguire has not been living up to expectations and standards befitting as the captain. From one aspect I think it is not fair to pass such judgement and on another view I think it is for the betterment of the squad as he is suppose to lead by example.

Another deal that has taken place is Pierre Aubameyang's joining of Olympique Marseille on a three-year contract. While this player is no longer young, Pochettino has chosen not to include him in his team's design scheme. I witnessed Aubameyang's brilliance during his time at Arsenal, but it dimmed when he was brought in by Chelsea from Barcelona.

In my opinion, his decision to move to Ligue 1 in France is a better choice than stagnating in his career in England.

As far as i have seen, Aubameyang did not really play a big role since he joined FC Chelsea before the start of the last season, so i definitely agree, that a transfer to another club definitely makes a lot of sense for every party involved. That being said, i am actually pretty surprised that Aubameyang is going to Olympique Marseille and not to a club in the MLS in the US or a club in those Saudi League. He is already 34 years old and it is very much possible, that his new contract in Marseille will be the last of his career. If that will be the case, then i have a lot of respect for him, that he did not choose to go to Saudi Arabia or the US to earn a lot of money.
I'm just curious about Aubameyang's goal if it's just about career or what.
Because if I should be Aubameyang at an old age and choose the last club before retiring I would prefer to go to MLS in the US which can provide more money to be with my family when I retire even though Saudi Arabia also offers a big offer but it looks like Saudi Arabia not a choice.
But I don't know what Aubameyang is thinking instead preferring to go to a French club which may not necessarily be able to provide a bigger salary.
Aubameyang himself is quite old and I don't think Marseille will pay too much because of course after an old age this player's performance will decrease and his contribution will not be too big.
However, it was Aubameyang  decision to go to France for the last time of his career.

Based on what was reported by Romano who said "so far Kane's camp has always kept their promises" that means that it is very likely that Bayern have entered into an agreement with the player, they have mediated so far with Kane's family. In other news, Bayern Munich are "confident" they have a "serious chance" of signing Harry Kane, says @FabrizioRomano.

On the other hand, Spurs will try their best to persuade Harry Kane to stay. they will do everything they can, so that Kane stays and extends his contract. but if we refer to Romano's quote, it seems most likely that Kane already has a personal agreement with Bayern. only, Kane did not say that he would leave. maybe, if Bayern had prepared their third offer and Levy was unable to turn it down. like it or not, Spurs have to let him go. moreover, if Kane is not interested in signing a new contract. I'm pretty sure Kane will join Bayern Munich next season.

I do not think that the question of the next season is relevant at the moment - everything should be decided now. If Kane leaves for free, then Tottenham will be in a big loss, so if Kane's departure is a definite thing, and the club knows it, then they are obliged to sell him now. Manchester United are trying to finish Rasmus Hojlund deal. But here is still a disagreement on transfer fee between the sides. Manchester United want to offer less but Atalanta resist on 70 million euros for him. Thinking that his current market price is 45 million it is a quite high price to set for him truthfully.
There is still a lot of drama that will happen at Man United after Mason Mount's transfer managed to reach an agreement and the second concerns the Inter Milan goalkeeper and is now dealing with Atalanta again who offered a high price for Rasmus Hojlund. It is impossible for Man United to reach a price that is too high because they are currently experiencing unclear conditions under the Glazers regarding the cost conditions that are prepared to buy new players.

Manchester United are monitoring Kolo Muani's situation on one hand. However he will most probably cost them even more. Because his market price is already 80 million and I wouldn't expect Frankfurt to drop down from that level. But maybe the reason why Manchester United are monitoring him could be that they believe that deal would be more profitable in the long run. Truthfully Muani's statistics have been more impressive and he is at one of the productive ages for a striker as well.
Muani is much better than Rasmus Hojlund, but returns with the financial readiness of Man United. Unlike the case when Man United's ownership status was successfully acquired by Sheikh Jassim, so that financial strength will be much better and there will be a large budget available to recruit new players. Until now there is no clarity regarding the acquisition of Man United and no news has been confirmed so far and most likely still constrained by the Glazers.

Henderson is certain now and it remains to see if Fabinho will do the same because we know that Fabinho is also rumored to be walking to the Liverpool exit door and moving to Al Ittihad.
Currently it is reported that they are ready to provide 40 million as a finalized price for Liverpool and that means Liverpool are really overhauling their midfielders and regenerating younger players.

Now with Fabinho leaving, it is likely that Liverpool will make a bigger move for Manchester City's Kalvin Phillips to provide regeneration especially if Fabinho really leaves then they will get an opening for a defensive midfielder.
