Lol.  Ronaldo was a bit more of a nuisance during his return to United because the manager had to adjust the squad's formation and strategy around him.  And no matter how hard Solksjaer and Rangnick tried, it was just not working week in, week out.  Something had to go so the managers eventually stopped placing him in the first 11.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Ronaldo fan too and loved it when he went back to United.  I was hoping City would acquire Messi that summer too.  Would have been the perfect set up for their rivalry.

It's still kind of an odd choice. The team is frankly weak even by MLS standards and are currently in last place.
They say there's a big Argentine diaspora in Miami and Messi has a home there. Perhaps he plans in the future to join a share of the club and create his own, it's hard to explain Messi's choice in any other way.

He did the right thing not going back to Barcelona, just as you mentioned Ronaldo did the mistake of going back to Manchester United for the love and respect he has for the club but it didn’t end well for him. It will never end well because Messi and Ronaldo are not young anymore and the fans still expect them to play as if they are in their 20s. Ronaldo scored 18 league goals for united and they still think he under performed, he was the team’s highest goal scorer and the third overall league goal scorer and all this was not enough because he didn’t dribble the whole field as he used to. That was unfair to Ronaldo a football legend. I’m happy to see him smile again in Saudi where he is loved an appreciated.

Would have been the same with messi too, i remember a season before messi left Barcelona some fans used to criticize him whenever he looses the ball, people easily forget what you have done for them and criticize you when you are not at your best. He deserves to be happy and respected as a football legend and i believe he would be respected in USA. He made the right choice not going back to Barcelona.

Two years spent outside Camp Nou, things have blown out of proportion in the club, the board has messed with FFP regulations and has been sanctioned, there are too many ugly events circulating round to handle, Leo Messi needs a place where he can be free and do his best for himself, and he will retire from football sooner rather than later. Leo Messi knows what is best for him, and moving to Inter Miami was a solid plan for the Argentine after all, his former club, Barcelona, has critical financial concerns that they were never expecting to solve.

When hearing of this, you just know he was just following many before his move to the MLS.
Isn't Miami the club that Beckham is the owner so of course they probably made a deal that he couldn't refuse. And I believe it was for only three years. So he will still have some hunger for soccer once his agreement to stay is done.
He could still end up at Barcelona FC but at a managerial capacity and not as a player.

We agree with the list that Arsenal must sell in the transfer window later. but IMO, Partey is still very much needed by the young Gunners squad. At the very least, the Gunners must have mature players, not all young ones. after all, Partey could also be rotated into defender if Arteta wanted to, he has proven that.
As for Xhaka, this season his appearance and contribution have been very instrumental for Arsenal compared to the previous season. Rumors have it that Xhaka will leave for Leverkusen. maybe this is the right choice for him, if in the end Arteta brings in a newcomer, his potential replacement.

Other than that, Gundohan is an ideal choice even though he is already 32 years old. However, he can still be relied on and can even become a role model for the Gunners' young squad. rumor has it, Arsenal have offered a two-year contract and a lucrative proposal. we'll see if he will accept Arsenal's offer, or stay with Manchester City.
Caicedo, most likely he will go to Chelsea. because, Chelsea have also revived their interest in the Brighton midfielder.
Alvarez, I'm not sure about this. after all, the Gunners have G. Jesus and Trossard. even if Arsenal have to bring in a striker, they need a pure striker. at least, there are variants that Arteta can rely on depending on the team's needs when carrying out the match.  even so, whatever it is, I can only hope that Arteta and Edu are not mistaken in bringing in newcomers.

I know you guys are disappointed over his rejection by Barcelona management, Barcelona never wanted him, it was Messi that was pushing the transfer and when it failed. He wants to just leave Erupo for America.
It's obvious Messi can't play outside Barcelona, we all see how he flop in the French league and PSG chased him out.

Ronaldo, never made a mistake for chosen Manchester United over Manchester city. He performed and won games for Manchester United, he fell out with the coach, that was just the problem nothing else.

Messi made the decision he would play the next season in Inter maimi instead of the Catalan club (Barcelona) because there are several reasons behind Messi's failure to take a U-turn to Barcelona. Messi and his family love to play for Barcelona but due to financial problems of Catalan changed their mind. After several conversations between Messi's father and Barcelona president Johan Laporta at the end of the conversation they decided that the club will sign Messi at this transfer market but that would take time. On the other hand, Messi didn't wait no more for Barcelona. Messi has only remain two spots to choose between them MLS or SPL & Messi has no interest to play in Saudi Arabia he would love to play in their own continent America which has more fame than the Saudi Arabia leagues. So that is the reason why Messi chooses to pick Inter Maimi over Barcelona.

Yes, no matter how hard Barcelona wants to return Lionel Messi to Camp Nou, if the player doesn't want to return, then that will never happen. He is indeed the best player status Barcelona has ever had and he even became a legend there, but that doesn't mean Barcelona can arrange Messi where he will go. Now that he has decided to go to Miami to continue his football career there, I am not sure whether he will decide to retire there or not.
A player will not think about himself when he decides to join a club, considerations such as family will also affect where he will go.

I believe Messi made a very wise decision his future and career and inuding that of his family. No player has an everlasting affirmity with any club and it was just a contract between Messi and Barcelona.
There's no doubt that Barcelona has done alot for Messi and his family and I'm return Messi has done alot for Barcelona in terms of commitment and hard work. These two parties may never meet again in the football world. I am happy for Messi that he didn't make same mistake that Ronaldo made with Manchester United.

It looks like when there was a condition where a player like Rice was wanted by many clubs and West ham set a pretty crazy price for a Rice, Jude is now bought by Madrid even crazier with 100 + 30 million there. On the other hand, there are also several players who sometimes the initial offer can immediately be more than 60 million, which indeed makes me feel a little big, but this is a rotation where things like that will definitely continue to happen and there could be things far more than this is for the next few seasons.

So many teams in middle east were putting it as standard to buy the star players from EU. More big players to come very soon but not for messi.
