Well, Benzema is on the right team to show his best in Saudi Pro League. He is lucky that Al Ittihad gave a big offer for him. Benzema also will get a big salary there. So, I am pretty sure that Benzema will experience a great season in Saudi the next season.  Smiley

Contract closed/valid for two years and option of an extension of the bond, but speaking the truth... will Benzema last that long in the "desert"?
I question why I've seen the almost regret of Cristiano Ronaldo wanting to leave there with less than 6 months, why is that?
Only the high salary (astronomical) is not enough to motivate high-level players to stay in a country with a culture so different from what they are used to in Europe.

We know that "young" athletes like them need a good night of relaxation, drinks, women and games....that is not so easily found there.

Anyway, I'm rooting for Benzema's future and I hope he plays well at Al-Ittihad, but honestly I find it difficult for him to fulfill the two-year contract.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.

I am happy for Karim Benzema. He has served the good world of football very well, he has been humble and dutiful in both club and nation, this is time for him to go and enjoy and also retire well.
He appeared and won almost everything possible even in the generation of Messi and Ronaldo. My love and respect for him is very high.
Also Ngolo Kante is a very down to earth footballer. Although I would have wished he remained in the Europe for sometime but since he made his choice, I respect that and love him with my heart . Congratulations to the happy dude.

Its really wierd how badly Saudi Arabia wants their league to become so popular. They are wasting too many millions on many players and dont care how much they the players ask. If Kante gets a contract from Chelsea he would probobly stay but if no top clubs offer him a deal he will probobly go to saudi arabia.

They can get unlimited money from oil and im not feeling doubt how they can waste so much money for that. There will be so many great players to be signed as soon as possible. The fact that if so many players may be migrated to the saudi pro league. That will be pushing this competition into the next level. I will agree for those players to go to the saudi clubs rather than played for the team in ESL. Kante has become the next target by some big clubs and what's next?
I think that kante may possible to accept such offer he will be leaving from the club with free transfer status.

Kante will be getting very huge contract, that's very interesting whether he will be willing to accept it or not. It seems like that he will stay in chelsea if he will get another contract extension but there's no agreement to the chelsea about that.
Pochettino was not even giving update regarding it and he may potentially to leave from the club as soon as possible.

Jesus christ this Saudi Arabian money thing is getting insane. Now they have offered 100 million to Kante and it could be done any moment now. He didn't even believe it himself, so they are signing it right away. Dude is making 100 per year for 2 years if I am not mistaken. Ronaldo, Benzema, Kante, lets see who they will get next. By this logic they will need to spend 1+ billion a year for a decent team, and it would be a team that would be totally filled with old players as well but would be good for the league and yet they are not putting them all into the same team neither, so there is like one good player in each team, and 10 terrible ones. If anyone has watched Ronaldos games, you know how terrible the other players look, and most of the opponents as well. Lets see where this is going, but they can't sustain this financially for sure, there is no way. Either they start to pay less, in which case players may start to reject, or they will bankrupt their teams very quickly in a decade.

The arabian club was never giving huge offers in the past but the things have changed once nassr was offering a very big contract to the ronaldo.
If you have been following football for sometime now you would know there's seasonal migration of players to a particular league. Some years back it was the chinese super league (CSL) that was attracting a lot of big names to their domestic league, later MLS followed. So this is the era of the saudi arabian league and in no time another league will take over.

It's starting now. Even benzema is aware of how important money when he will not be playing in the football again. that's why 1 season in madrid is not important anymore since an offer was coming for him from ittihad.
"Not playing in football again?"... I guess you meant not playing in europe again. No doubt Benzema's quality did not decline, he's like an old wine that's getting better at old age. Really he might have been tempted by the juicy offer on the table and I don't think he was wrong to part ways with Real Madrid because he has won everything in spain and europe and to be the most decorated player in the club history is a very huge personal achievement and something he would cherish all the days of his life. So it's time for a new chapter in his football career.

Messi seem willing to rejoin Barcelona this summer and it us only a matter of time before Barcelona begin steps to make Messi a Barcelona player again. Talking about the money, Messi had taken a pay-cut before to remain at the club, I'm confident he can make that sacrifice again for Barcelona been fully aware of the conditions of the club.

The big question about Messi joining Barcelona again next season will be is he going to be a regular starter for the club knowing too well that age is no longer on his side or will he accept to play from the bench instead of going to Saudi Arabia where he will have a big pay and still be a regular starter and key player to the team? Well this question will be answered by the decision Messi wants to make because it is very clear that he's no longer a PSG player so it will only take some time to know his next step but going back to his child hood club Barcelona to help the team won't be a bad idea because the team contributed to the better player that he is right now.

Concerning the pay cut that Messi initially accepted before moving back to PSG, the decision is left for him and the Barcelona president to decide but there's no way he won't be paid for his services even though the club is still in financial crisis he's got some bills to pay I think he's going to work on the pay cut to help his team if really he has the mind to play for Barcelona again.

Messi would walk into any staring IX team in Europe; there is no doubt about it. There is no midfielder in Barcelona who would pose a threat to Messi's position. Rejecting the Saudi offer to return to Barcelona is the best decision; there is no better place to retire than his boyhood club, and he is willing to reduce his salary to do so. Nothing has been agreed upon yet, although discussions are ongoing.

Kante is about to sign for one of the Saudi Arabian teams interested in him. His salary could reach 100m euros according to the source. I don't feel like Chelsea will try to extend his contract. If they had such intention I think they would have started the talks with him already. That lasting injury period must have affected Chelsea's opinion about him negatively.

Kante's contract extension talks was already ongoing, and there were a few positive indications that he might sign an extension in the coming days, but the club has decided to sell because he can't seem to stay on his feet, and his recent injuries are concerning, so the club has decided to cut losses while there is still some value left in him. I'm fine with this transfer since it makes more sense, he's not heading to our rivals..

How interesting these Saudi teams are! It is like they have unlimited oil money. They don't care about how old these players are at all for example. They just want to see these solid players in their teams to present a good show to their supporters as well. This is really unfair in this sport in my opinion. Because if you don't have oil money then you are in no position to be able to compete with these teams financially.

No disrespect to Jude, but I'd rather have McAlister on my team than him. Both are good players, but only one ticks all of my boxes. Liverpool has made a good signing.
Whilst there is no doubt that Liverpool made a very good signing and Mac Allister is top quality, but you must be kidding to say you'd rather have him that Jude Bellingham right? I know that both players haven't really won anything in terms of trophies, but Jude Bellingham is obviously more talented than Mac Allister, we're talking about the most sought-after midfielder in the world currently. What's all your boxes that Mac Allister ticks?

They’re reports that PSG have fired coach Christophe Galtier after one season at the club. At this point I think the board and their fans know nothing about football. Their problem is they want quick success. Due to the fact that they have the money, they want quick success especially in the champions league and it’s never easy. Now they have signed Asensio and Ugarte without caring whether they fit into new coache's tactics or formations? what a joke of a club. Zero strategy, zero plan and they want to win UCL.

I haven't confirmed these rumors to be true or not, but PSG really need to fire Christopher Gaiter. I am not a fan of the PSG handle footballing business, but they will be right to fire Christopher Gaiter.
Have you seen PSG okay? My god, they're awful. I know they lack the right amount of players in some areas of the pitch, but PSG has no right to play that poorly. They even tipped the league with a difference of just one point, that's to show how awful they were.
With the kind of form Lens was in this season, if they had deep pockets like PSG, they would have won the league convincingly.
Part of PSG's problem is bad sport management, but a big part of this poor form this season from from having a mediocre coach.

If saudi clubs were offering a huge contract to the non star player and i think this player will accept it instantly. Arabian club was only picking star player from EU league to push the popularity of the competition.

You will be seeing more EU players come to the SPL soon. It's just the matter of time.

People have been interesting to become professional football caused by they could get huge salary + popularity.

I am happy Karim Benzema finally landed this deal, this is a huge deal especially coming at this stage of his career he will have the chance to play and earn a very huge amount of money in wages. It might not be one of the leagues in Europe but at this point I think it is the money that matters the most. Benzema is aged and past his prime there isn't much left to prove or show to convince anyone that he is one of the best players in the world.

Jude Bellingham should have been the best option, but he's just too good, the right decision at this period was to choose Real Madrid.
I'm happy for the LFC fans that MacAllister finally seals his move to Liverpool FC but there's no way LFC would have been able to convince Jude Bellingham to sign a contract when Real Madrid is on the radar. LFC lacks champions league football next season and won't pay him what Madrid is offering, also at Real Madrid he's certain of winning major silverwares before his contract runs out.

Liverpool were close to agreeing a contract with Dortmund before the World Cup, but both clubs failed to agree on fees, and his price skyrocketed after his World Cup performance to £100m + ads on, he is a good player but his price is insane for someone with his qualities, Liverpool made the best decision to pull out, it makes no sense to spend such on a player when the club is looking to sign three midfielders.

He's not Bellingham, of course - but he'll be a good improvement to our team.

if harry kane continues to refuse Madrid's offer then he will only waste his energy on Tottenham, however Madrid is the dream team of many star players and has won many competitions very often, while tottenham is a team that until now has not been able to give kane a trophy.
One thing I don't like about football is that fans are the most vocal when it comes to speculation and with contracts being the decider if player can move or not, and willingness of  the player to move..for me I dont think his  the perfect fit, let Madrid look else where tbh!!
Let's not forget that at this point Madrid needs to usher in a new crop of players as this current generation will be retiring soon and a player like Kane is a temporary fix and will be too expensive to bring looking at his age...and the fact that the British media are just hyping this player I still think this is a bad deal and hope he doesn't move!

after benzema officially joined al ittihad, madrid had to get a replacement striker before the 23/24 season started.

SOURCE--
If these guys continue hunting for the top names of football, I see this league to be the next destination for most players because the money on offer is crazy..and big names have already lead which means USA might run out of supply of these big talents and currently this ambassador tag is just a smoke screen...Saudis at the moment mean business!!!

I'm not sure why they should fire the coach so quickly; perhaps they have a better alternative to replace him. Concerning the players they signed, it was a collaborative effort of the scouting staffs to determine if they were suited for specific positions on the team and would integrate with the team's style of play. There's nothing wrong with the players they signed as long as they can put them to good use in the team.

Didn't want to jinx it, but seems all but complete now.

I really like MacAllister, I told Trofo about him even before the WC and that I can't understand why he wasn't starting.
As soon as he did, Argentina's game changed dramatically.

He's just the type of creative player our midfield needs and I'm quite thrilled he's coming to LFC.

He's not Bellingham, of course - but he'll be a good improvement to our team.

I don't normally follow Brighton's games, so I don't know how good MacAllister is at the club, even after his World Cup performance. He received a lot of media attention, and for Liverpool to sign him, he must be worth the hype. I hope he gets to win more trophies with the club now that he's with a bigger team.

Not sure why Harry Kane doesn't want to accept Real Madrid offer, is there an official statement from him about this?
Agree, Harry Kane will be difficult to win any trophy in Tottenham. If he still has a dream to win a trophy, he must leave Tottenham. But if he only wants to play without any expectation to be a winner, he can stay in Tottenham forever.

Sure, Real Madrid must sign a top striker to replace Benzema's role. If Harry Kane refuses the offer, Real Madrid must look for another striker as their target. Mbappe, Vlhaovic, Lautaro Martinez, and Victor Osimhen are some best options to replace Benzema. Real Madrid can make offers to these players as well.

Well, Benzema is on the right team to show his best in Saudi Pro League. He is lucky that Al Ittihad gave a big offer for him. Benzema also will get a big salary there. So, I am pretty sure that Benzema will experience a great season in Saudi the next season.  Smiley

Harry Kane have a golden opportunity to join Real Madrid as the main striker and get some titles for what left from his career rather than losing it with Spurs, a team that won nothing and will not in the near future..
This place will remain attractive for Real Madrid until they find a good player or they might take two if they could.

According a latest bbcsport news Karim Benzema had signed a two years contract with a Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad in a deal worth millions of dollars, I think this a mouth-watering offer that wouldn't be resisted by any player above 35 years, Ronaldo did same by joining Al Nassr and from news source the likes of Zaha, Adama Troare and Kante had also line up to sign for some Saudi Arabian clubs with the influx of players from the European league, I believe this trend will help to develop Arabian league particularly their home based players.

This season seems to be a strong reason for several players to leave the club and now Di Maria is reported to have officially left Juventus in the summer. It looks like Juventus will not extend his contract which will expire on June 30 and this decision makes Di Maria's status a free agent. Actually Di Maria is still good enough for several teams in Europe, but I don't hear rumors regarding offers from any European teams at this time.

At this old age it seems very difficult to find a place in Europe and maybe going to the Saudi league is one of the best options now, moreover, it has started to be seen that several European players who are approaching retirement are finally placing themselves in a team from the Saudi league.
The news came as a shock to me because Di Maria has been an important player for Juventus even though he has struggled with injuries at the club. Reports have it that he has been declared a free agent today but preferred destination still unknown, it is also said that Benfica are interested in bringing him back to the club but a decision is still not made by the player as there are also other options on the table.

Mateo Kovacic future on Chelsea doesn't really good that his contract will be expire in the 2024 season but he and Chelsea weren't reach an agreement to talking about contract extension and even there was a rumour Kovacic will left Chelsea this summer and apparently Manchester City know this situation and they were attempts to gets him this summer and it says Chelsea probably will let him to left because rather than let him leave with free transfer then Chelsea will decide to sell him immediately

According to the rumour Kovacic has price 40 millions and Manchester City will don't mind to pay according to his price tag and why Guardiola want Kovacic because next season Manchester City will lost Gundogan because this player has been decide not to extended his contract with Manchester City so Guardiola feel Kovacic can be the replacement of Gundogan
It’s no longer fresh news that Manchester City are interested in having Kovacic on their squad for next season, Guardiola is a fan of the player and has now set his mind on getting him, we know how influencial Manchester City are in English football currently, his £40m valuation wouldn't be a problem for Manchester City financially and they are also one of the most attractive clubs in the world right now.
