Neymar is already 31 years old, he is not that young anymore, and unfortunately it seems that he has been showing signs of wear and tear with injuries, and he is not as fast as he used to be, and one of his skills is based on speed.

Neymar is 31 and yes he is not young anymore but this can't be a reason to say he can't play like his good days anymore don't forget that Messi played very well during the last world cup while he is older than Neymar so it doesn't matter even if Neymar is 31 he can still shine but according what we know from the news in the next transfer window he is going to leave PSG and Messi will do the same thing, while we don't know about the destination of these two players but there is a possibility for Messi to play in an American team.
For Neymar, I can say that he is still old enough to be successful in football.  The age of 31 is no longer an age to be called old in modern football.  Neymar can play until the age of 38 if he doesn't decide to retire early.  Unless he's seriously injured, of course.  We know that he has problems with injuries.

Insight on Casemiro's signing:

What do you have to say about Casemiro who transferred from Real Madrid to Manchester United at age 30. I want us to discuss. Many people said many unpleasant things about the transfer such as;
  • He is old and cannot perform
  • He came to Manchester United because of money
  • He is a waste product
  • Some few said he wants to try new challenges
Today, I consider him the most important signing of Manchester United.

Casemiro is an important player, as well as when he was still in Madrid's uniform. proven by the departure of Casemiro, Madrid had a bit of trouble in their midfield. I would say Casemiro's presence with United made a difference. not only from a tactical perspective but also from a mental perspective. Casemiro has become a key player for Manchester United after arriving from Real Madrid with a price tag of £ 70 million. although initially many said that bringing in Casemiro was a panic buy, but the fact. Ten Hag proved that he was not wrong in choosing to sign Casemiro. in fact, Casemiro brought a winning mentality to the locker room for his teammates. Fred, who initially played unstable, can play well when paired with him. I'm not a Red Devil fan by the way, but I like the system that Ten Hag has put in place for his team.

How important or not actually depends on the player itself. As an old player and there must be more experience compared with the young player but can you also mention another name that got terminated by MU in january? I meant to look at what ronaldo did in MU after he was coming back again to his former club.

There are so many old players who were having bad results after these players were coming back to their old club. I think that is all rely on the personalities of player. Chelsea was also buying thiago silva when he was also entering his old age. The fact that if thiago can still even lead young player in chelsea and he was giving so many contributions to the club.

1. I never said Casemiro is old and can't perform, a midfielder can still playing at least for the next 5 years, if he's really consistent he could become like Luka Modric which is currently 37 years old.

2. It's true, Casemiro's payroll at Real Madrid was only 10 Million Euros while at Manchester United he can earn 15 Million Euros.

3. Nope, look to my answer above.

4. Yes, because Manchester United was in bad performance, after Casemiro joined Manchester United, Manchester United slowly improving and could able to overtake Arsenal and Manchester City.

casemiro is the most appropriate purchase made by MU, he is an extraordinary midfielder, his experience at Madrid is really undeniable, even every opponent who meets him on the field will have great difficulty facing him, man utd's victory in the EFL cup makes casemiro the man of the match, even though he is old but he is a great player.

I have been a Chelsea supporter since I was in school, and I am very sad about Chelsea's current performance, Potter is the worst Chelsea coach in history and has the smallest win ratio. I hope Boehly listens to the wishes of Chelsea fans to replace Potter immediately, there are many great coaches who can coach Chelsea.

Paris St-Germain could let at least one of Argentina forward Lionel Messi, 35, France striker Kylian Mbappe, 24, and Brazil forward Neymar, 31, leave the club in the summer as the club looks to reduce its wage bill because of Uefa financial fair play. Who among them is the biggest candidate to leave? It seems to me that PSG would prefer to get rid of Neymar  Grin
^ It feels to me that PSG wants to get rid of Neymar as well. But at the same time, I also think Lionel Messi does not want to stay at PSG. So PSG will have to make a choice. Neymar is actually playing well. But injury is the biggest concern for him.

AC Milan and France striker Olivier Giroud is open to a move back to the Premier League with London sides West Ham, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Brentford all potential destinations for the 36-year-old. Lots of interested clubs for this great player. What Giroud will decide in the end?
^ Olivier Giroud is old but still a very good player. The only problem is he is quite old at this point. So whichever team takes him in, will have to remember that he is not going to give service for a long period of time. One year contract is going to be the best approach.

Olivier Giroud is still playing well but he is far from the golden days he had in Arsenal even after left Arsenal for Chelsea he could perform well enough and at Chelsea, he couldn't shine like the days he had in Arsenal after that he joined AC Milan and now I can say this Olivier Giroud is far from what we knew in Arsenal but yes he is still a good player. however, AC Milan could start investing in young players instead of him.

Compared to Ibrahimovic, Giroud is even young.  Jokes aside, Milan need a young and fast forward.  If Juventus had not bought Vlahovic, I can say that he was exactly the type of player Milan wanted.  At the end of the year, they will definitely need a striker.  I don't know if they can get Dybala from Rome, if they do, they can play very successful matches in Milan.

Nicolas Seiwald finally officially joined RB Leipzig at a cost of £ 20 million and a 6-year contract duration (2023-2028). The arrival of the 21 -year -old player from Salzburg also made the cooperation between the two clubs that had taken place 20 transfers and his arrival to RB Leipzig will also make them better prepared to compete in the Bundesliga, considering that the competition in the top five of the Bundesliga standings is so tight and currently RB Leipzig is in the top four of the standings.

Nicolas Seiwald is actually a middle defensive midfielder and he can also play in the middle midfielder position, his arrival to the squad can form a perfect duet with Xaver Schlager or Konrad Laimer if it does not move to Bayern Munich.

Who says an elderly dog can't learn new tricks? Even if Olivier Giroud isn't as good as he once was, he still has some useful qualities. Like, seriously! A squad like AC Milan might benefit from his leadership and experience. Don't they realize that a combination of young and old is often the most productive? Furthermore, Giroud's tremendous work over the previous few years for Chelsea and AC Milan should not be overlooked. It's inconceivable to me that Milan would bench Giroud in favor of a younger player. How bizarre!

Olivier Giroud is at AC Milan and they are competing in the Serie A League. Of course, this will make it difficult for Olivier Giroud to shine because in the Serie League, Napoli is at the top of the standings with a very large difference in score, but at least Olivier Giroud can still bring AC Milan into second place and, if possible, take first place from Napoli, even though it feels like that is unlikely to happen.

Twenty two matches with seven goals and four assists this season is not a bad statistic for a striker that is thirty six years old. He still has a lot to offer but his most valuable asset now is experience. Olivier Giroud  has played in some top class clubs giving him a lot of exposure and experience that could be transmitted to younger players.  I think he enjoyed his stay in England that is why he wants to come back to the Premiership. With Brentford, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Fulham targeting his service, it is possible that he wants to retire in England.

I think that when someone becomes even older and there will be a slight change in his body like stamina, etc. but this depends on also how good he to keep. So far neymar didn't perform so bad in PSG but the environment in the club is not making him feel confidence anymore. That's why he will be moving to the new club. As you can see that from this news https://www.givemesport.com/messi-mbappe-neymar-psg-could-lose-huge-star-as-wage-bill-set-to-be-slashed/

Owner of PSG wanna try cut money that usualle spent to buy its players due to the FFP. PSG needs to comply with FFP to make sure if it will not get a problem in the future.

Inter might be likely to lose some important players in the summer. These players are speculated as Brozovic and Barella. There are some big teams reported to be after these players. Especially Barella's cost might be really high. He is linked with Liverpool and he might cost around 70 million euros to them. Actually this isn't an incredible amount for today's football.

As Liverpool are also a rich team they wouldn't refrain from offering this amount for him. Liverpool are just trying to do whatever they can to make this team strong again.

Liverpool's pursuit of Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham will not be harmed by their struggles this season as Champions League qualification is not a deal-breaker for the 19-year-old. I'm not so sure about that. Every player wants to play in the Champions League and fight for trophies. I believe that there is still a greater chance that Bellingham will go to Real as a replacement for the aging Modric.
...

Liverpool have very obvious midfield problems but despite this they have been very slow in the winter transfer window. I really wouldn't want to be in Klopp's shoes. They're acting like they're trying to make Klopp helpless right now. Even Liverpool signing Jude Bellingham may not be enough. I think they need to catch up with the competition and they need to sign a few more quality midfielders to achieve that.
Agree with what you say. they are too focused on strikers and wing positions so they forget the midfield even though their midfield needs some reshuffling considering the players are old enough and need to regenerate there.
Now there is nothing to do other than wait for next season but indeed in this case the risk is clear. Players like Henderson, Fabinho and Milner are too old and need to regenerate there.

In some players you will have to consider their age very well before you go for such a player. But in the caseof Neymar, he is very young and he got time to play. Irrespective of his age at this time and next season, I still see Neymah playing very good football in the 4 years  to come. He is still great and his worth is not dropping yet, but the amount of Seasons that a club would like to give him will reduce.

I would also choose Neymar to leave the team if there is really a necessity for one of the trio at PSG to join another team. Because Neymar don't have a good past with Mbappe in the team as well.
These guys are professionals and need to learn how to work with others, and they aren't the first to have dressing room wrangles as history has shown..

Besides if Neymar is to leave PSG what guarantees the team that the next player to replace any of these guys won't invite misunderstandings... I guess you get where am going with this Roll Eyes.

They had some disagreements before which they have solved hopefully. But there is no guarantee that this would happen once again between them. As far as I know Mbappe has called him as undisciplined before. This might also be a reason to choose Neymar in this.
If this affects their performance, management will jump in no doubt but seeing both are getting on the scorecard and the alike this is normal behavior for players that want to be the best!

There is still no news about Messi's decision on his future as well though. If he doesn't extend then maybe he will leave the team first. It is really hard to make a prediction about this thing now.
Messi is a professional that won't allow himself to start speculating about his future, but when the time comes he will let the world know... But I would like to see him follow Cr7 for a good fat paycheck and then retire from home (Argentina).

DiMaria's situation is not yet clear and much will be linked to the cancellation or not of the penalty inflicted on Juventus.

There are various news about him, from a possible one-year renewal to his return to Argentina or the end of his career in MLS.

It seems he wants to continue with his national team, and if he really wants to do it he will have to stay in important football, so he needs to stay in Europe.

Sunday's transfer gossip:

r Marcelo Brozovic could be sold by Inter Milan in the summer, with Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid interested in the 30-year-old. It seems to me that Inter is making the same mistake as they did with Perisic, and that they will only be aware of the kind of player they let in later. For Brozovic, this is the last chance to make a career transfer.

It still boils me down to my bones why on earth Jude Bellingham would delay such a worthy opportunity of joining Real Madrid. Playing for Real Madrid is a long time dreams and visions. I'll appreciate if he moves to Real Madrid over Liverpool and Manchester United.
Croatia really have a machine in Brozovic, and I see nothing wrong with letting him leave inter milanbut not to Barcelona, they need a younger talent to replace him.

Lionel Messi looks likely to leave the club, Kylian Mbappe would stay I cam assure anyone else about the growth.

The interesting part is, he actually had more success in both AC Milan and Chelsea than while he was at Arsenal. He was vital For Milan last season but this season he has been a shadow of himself but that doesn’t bow on him alone. Milan entirely have been poor all round this season. Should Milan look for a new younger striker yes but I don’t think it will be a good idea selling off Giroud just. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is leaving and the club need an experienced striker to help build the team and also be reliable when called upon from the bench. Giroud showed at the World Cup that he has still got it
