How important or not actually depends on the player itself. As an old player and there must be more experience compared with the young player but can you also mention another name that got terminated by MU in january? In some players you will have to consider their age very well before you go for such a player. But in the caseof Neymar, he is very young and he got time to play. The interesting part is, he actually had more success in both AC Milan and Chelsea than while he was at Arsenal. He was vital For Milan last season but this season he has been a shadow of himself but that doesn’t bow on him alone. Milan entirely have been poor all round this season. Should Milan look for a new younger striker yes but I don’t think it will be a good idea selling off Giroud just. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is leaving and the club need an experienced striker to help build the team and also be reliable when called upon from the bench. Giroud showed at the World Cup that he has still got it
