Even with the mistakes David De Gea has been making he is undoubtedly still one of the best goalkeepers they have had in long years and Erik Ten Hag understands that De Gea is still capable of making those important saves that keeps them alive in tough games and wins games for them, it is understandable to want to keep him but having a good back up goal keeper should also be part of the plans IMO.
