Sunday's transfer gossip:

Mauricio Pochettino, who has agreed to take over as Chelsea manager, wants Mason Mount to stay at Stamford Bridge, although the 24-year-old England midfielder only has one year left on his contract and has not been offered an extension. I think Pochettino will have a very difficult job at Chelsea, much more difficult than at any other club he has coached so far.
England midfielder Jude Bellingham reportedly rejected a move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City as he did not want to join a 'plastic club'. Very interesting opinion of this player about Manchester City. Do you agree with his opinion?  Grin
Real Madrid are looking to sell French full-back Ferland Mendy, 27, with Arsenal on alert. Real is creating a very strong team for next season.
The president of Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal, Fahad Bin Saad Bin Nafel, has refused to comment on speculation surrounding a move for Paris St-Germain and Argentina forward Lionel Messi, 35. Does this mean that the football transfer of the century is being negotiated?  Cheesy

Finally news coming in today states Chelsea have finally reached an agreement to see Pochettino take over as the new coach of Chelsea for the coming season and negotiations to be held on transfer plans and how to move the club to better heights next season. Ferland Mendy would be a good signing for Arsenal if he eventually joins, I will love Arsenal to consider this deal and try to bring him to the club.

I think Pochettino will go back to his team... to Spurs once more time.
He already knows the player, the stadium, and the team.
Chelsea have already reached an agreement with Mauricio Pochettino to be their manager from next season, he will take over from their caretaker manager Frank Lampard at the end of this season, and take the team through pre-season in preparation for next season. When do you think Pochettino can go back to Spurs, after his time in Chelsea? I don't think that's even possible. Btw Spurs are a confused team at the monent, it looked as if they were advancing in talks with Nagelsmann, but that deal has fallen through and thus they must seek other alternatives now, and there are few available.
Mauricio Pochettino will be Chelsea manager from after the expiration of the current season and he was asked to come with his preferred full backroom staffs so he can be able to achieve his aim at the club.
Chelsea under a manager like Pochettino will surely excel judging by the past records of the young manager. From I learnt from the part of the deal that's been revealed, some current Chelsea player won't feature in the new manager's team as he'll also want to bring in few players he'll need to make Chelsea a very strong Premier League club once again

Is it really true that Chelsea have agreed upon terms with Mauricio Pochettino? Because I have started to see some news about this agreement on some websites. There is no official statement from Chelsea side maybe but let's see. Maybe there is already a verbal agreement between two sides. If Pochettino is the new coach then it might be good for Chelsea maybe.

Because Pochettino is already familiar with the league and he has a big experience with a decent PL team like Tottenham for years as well. There is another rumour about him like he wants Mount to stay at Chelsea. Mount hasn't had a good season so far but maybe Pochettino can win him back to the team again.
As announced by fabrizio that Chelsea has reached an agreement with Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea's new coach next season. But until this season ends, Lampard will be a coach for Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino will start working when next season arrives. Indeed, there is no official statement at this time because the Chelsea management does not want to hurt Lampard's feelings where he is still a coach for Chelsea until the end of this season, so an official announcement will probably be published when this season ends.

Mauricio Pochettino will be burdened with a tough task for next season because next season's target for Chelsea is to finish in the top 4 after this season they failed to do so. But so far we will see how Mauricio Pochettino performs in the transfer window later. Will he bring Harry kane.

Pochettino isn't a bad coach, he already managed some big teams and is familiar enough with EPL. Although he isn't as good as Zidane, Guardiola, or Ancelotti, but Chelsea deserves to hire him. I'm sure that Pochettino has the capacity to build Chelsea squad to be more solid and stronger. Getting a verbal agreement is a good sign that Chelsea is easier to negotiate with him. I hope Chelsea really hires him and will contract him for a long duration.

I think so too, but it has been reported that Pochettino also wants several names of players he wants to bring in to strengthen Chelsea with the squad he wants. it looks like Chelsea in the transfer market this summer will burn quite a lot of money for their improvement next season. hopefully, this is the right choice for Chelsea, which this season can be said to be a failure.

It should be a natural choice after Conte.

some of the media is already saying and even he is just waiting to be introduced but even so will this be right for Chelsea.

Indeed now it really doesn't depend on who the coach is for Chelsea because they are still very bad but when talking about Poche I don't expect much for this one coach when he is at Chelsea next season.

Mount is a good player, it makes sense if Pochettino wants him to stay. Chelsea needs a midfielder like him who has good skills in delivering assists, he is also still young and has a chance to grow more. I support his idea to defend Mount in the Chelsea squad.

Arteta is just the head coach in the team, when business issues are decided, he is unlikely to even be asked. If in a year PSG/Real/City, etc. offer 150 million for the player (which is quite realistic, isn't it with the current rise in prices?) and the player himself will want such a transfer, then he will be sold without problems. Even with Haaland, who has a fresh contract with City, not everything is clear - there are rumors that there are options in the contract that will allow him to leave, so City want a new contract. Therefore, no contract will guarantee that the player will really play it to the end and will not leave for another club.

This is most likely correct because transfers of that magnitude are only decided by the club's bosses, Arteta's word won't have any weight at all. It would be the same if Terzic said to his bosses in Dortmund that Bellingham won't be sold because he has a contract for one more year. That won't ever happen. Cheesy

As soon as transfers become substantially relevant, the coach is out of the loop. When it is about signing younger players, talents or to fill up a particular position for like 40 or 50 million, then the coach's opinion is probably taken into account.

Bukayo Saka is one of those players where Arteta's voice won't count because it doesn't make sense anyway. The coach needs the best squad on the pitch, what should he answer when the club were to ask him whether to sell or keep Saka? Wink

Obviously he will answer: Saka remains at Arsenal plus we buy Haaland, Mbappe + a few more tops  Grin
But unfortunately only Guardiola has such opportunities in the Premier League, which makes it look rather dull in my opinion. This season, in fact, only the rise of Arsenal was a pleasant surprise, but otherwise the main entertainment was to watch the collapse of Chelsea, Liverpool, United. The situation is practically the same as in Ligue 1 - there is PSG/City and all the rest. Even in the Bundesliga, the competition is more interesting this season.

The Liverpool midfield needs to be strengthened against next season. The guys in the midfield are old. Infact I cannot even account for Liverpool's midfield, the defensive midfield will only have me mention Fabinho. I do not really understand what happened to Keita, I guess it should be injure. How about Alcantra? I mean the next is old Minner and Hernderson. Liverpool needs Alister to strengthen the midfield and not to add one more average finisher.
They clearly need to regenerate and actually in this case there are several players who can be forced to fill in temporary regeneration but it seems like Klopp doesn't give a chance because there are their new player Carvalho they can make an option but they don't do that on the other hand for attacking midfielders also Elliot is still very capable but in the same condition as Carvalho.

Now like it or not they have to bring in a midfielder for next season no matter what.

Liverpool are still after the 24-year-old Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister now. They hope to finish the deal for £70m according to the source below. This would be one of the most sensible deals for Liverpool that's for sure. Because they really need to strengthen the midfield more to build a solid bridge between their defense and offense lines.

Mac Allister has been able to impress people a lot with a high level of effort. His being a World Cup winner has also added extra value in him too. He is just the player Liverpool would make a great use of in the midfield. These days Liverpool seem to be the only team interested in him but let's see.

Finally he should make sure Liverpool signs him
Because if you check Chelsea already has Mason mount and also Harvert having those player's means he will have less minutes to play
He really needs a big team he played a big part of Argentina winning the world cup

There are many other players who are under contract with other teams but in the end, they can still get offers from other teams however, the club should make a decision for that player and for a team like Dortmund that's important to make money by using their young players I don't think if Dortmund rejects the offer.

Teams like Ajax or Dortmund could only break out of this cycle of signing super talents and then having to sell them when they start winning the Champions League. Even then super players wouldn't want to stay in the Netherlands because that's a different world financially. The salaries are so far away in the Premier League or at the top teams from La Liga, Bayern and PSG. Ajax will always be dealing with that issue that players who are on the rise will leave them at some point guaranteed.

Dortmund could have a chance, but they would have to start winning the Bundesliga and also make it to some finals in the Champions League. Otherwise players will keep considering Dortmund as just one stop on their journey to the top.

Ajax has not yet found a new trainer for the coming season. I don't think Heintinga can stay on as a trainer. Too little experience, and in my opinion too little talent to lead this group of players. In itself a decent track record as a player. The new technical director will also have a hard time. And where will we see Peter Bosz and Arne Slot at work next season? The Spurs are after Slot, but of course there are many coaches who are only too happy to get to work there. I think it's a pity that people like Ruud Gullit are no longer active in the football world as a trainer. Guus Hiddink is free, but possibly just too old.

This should just be rumour, because bringing in Osimehn to chelsea that's struggling to escape regelation is not what a young star like osimehn want now, its better he stay in Napoli instead of him playing for chelsea, chelsea is not playing any Europe competition next season, So Osimehn has not business to sign for such club, he deserved a good club that's competitive not chelsea. but is left for him to decide. if he leaves Napoli.
I don't think with Osimehn agree for joining with Chelsea next season without participants in Champion League, indeed has chance depend on transfer offering from Chelsea and Napoli will priority about which one serious teams and has higher offering will get chance for signing Osimehn. But, Chelsea not participants yet in Europe League and Champion League next season become ambition for all player want to show their performance on Champion League. Seems rumor only only about Osimehn move to Chelsea next season however they have new center forward Christopher Nkunku have reach agreement deal last year and will be Chelsea players next season.
It's true that now it's just rumours, but with the seriousness of Chelsea and if they dare to bid higher than other teams, then Napoli will choose him for the benefit.
When talking about his career if he joins Chelsea then I don't think it's a good thing for Osimhen, however he also definitely wants to compete on the European stage for next season, while Chelsea will definitely not be there for next season.

what a good decision for chelsea owners to choose pochettino as the next chelsea coach, he once made tottenham almost win the champions league, with the current chelsea squad the strategy he made will definitely work effectively and well

The problem is not getting a new manager, but for the management of Chelsea Football Club to be willing to do what is obtainable to move the club to their good old level.
Poch is a good coach and he will need time to adapt in the Chelsea Club, so Todd should not pressure him as he does to other people. If you want to get results, you follow the due process and not the shortcuts.
I still wish many of the Chelsea good players will remain for Poch to use to make his team a stable one.

Harry Kane - Chelsea desperately need a new striker after Erling Haaland, Kane is the best in the business in the Premier League.

Chelsea is rumored to be interested in Osimhne, for sure they have the money for the expense.

We are talking about 150€ millions.

Chelsea spent about 600 million pounds on transfers this season, but they did not get the expected performance from the transfers. Now, if they spend 150 million Euros on Osimhen, at least they will have done the right thing. Osimhen alone can solve most of the problems Chelsea have. I think it's worth the money to spend on his transfer. Also, according to some news I read, there were rumors that Pulisic could be used as a trade in this transfer. Chelsea need to send some players from the team while transferring some players. They were a little out of control in the previous transfer season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Alexis Mac Allister would be in demand by many big clubs, including Liverpool. not only that, rumors of Mac Allister are also in the interest of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea. some of the news I've read and one of them from Teamtalk reports, Chelsea are reportedly set to anger Liverpool with a cash-plus-players deal, which risks convincing De Zerbi. a cash plus player deal could see a player De Zerbi admires have been launched, and if successful, it could be Chelsea bringing Mac Allister to Stamford Bridge instead of Liverpool bringing Mac Allister to Anfield.
The argentinian outlet claims offers totaling at least £70m are needed before Brighton accept them. TyC Sport claims Liverpool are in the best position to sign the midfielder, there have even been reports of an oral agreement on personal terms already in place. however, according to a new report from the Daily Express, it could be Chelsea who emerge victorious for Mac Allister. to beat Liverpool, Express said the action plan that Chelsea can do. based on the rumours, centre-back Levi Colwill could hold the key to unlocking Mac Allister's transfer. well, we'll see which club Mac Allister goes to later. because as Fabrizio Romano said, it is very likely that Mac Allister will leave AMEX this summer.

Mac Allister can certainly be a very good player for the midfield of Liverpool right now. Liverpool is certainly very interested in him still. I also believe that they are very serious about him. And as you said, being the world cup winner certainly has its parks. That has certainly increased the value of him a lot.

I am a little doubtful about the 70 million pounds. I think they will need a little more than that if they want to finalize the deal. I don't think Liverpool should be a miser about this. They should spend and look forward to starting the next season as well as they can.
