I wouldn't bother to say much about Eden Hazard but as for Philippe Coutinho, after all the setbacks hasn't Coutinho had a better season and career awards and trophies than all this, so far he won La Liga with Barcelona, Champions League with Bayern Munich, Co Pa Del Ray and one more etc. Liverpool wasn't part of the champions league that year so with he's great form that season he wanted to play the champions league he was never a proud kind of player who felt too big to play for Liverpool. It's just that ego can not let Liverpool accept him all for thrbway he left again.
In the sense that Coutinho was a better player than Hazard before all these drops? Then I could say maybe you are right, Coutinho was a great player, so was Hazard but I can see why one would prefer Coutinho over Hazard. However, if we are talking about how their career moved then I could say that it's quite similar in the sense that they were once a great player expected to be much amazing and then they started to be a terrible player later on.
Just imagine what 130 million euro worths now, and Coutinho was worth that much years and years ago, that's a superstar level of money, that's literally "build a whole team around him" level of money, which is why I was shocked to see him play so badly.
