Nice! He was quite the prospect back then but why hasn't he really reached his full potential under Simeone and would it be different under Graham Potter? I feel like this signing could be more for the commercial value, aka shirt and jersey sales, than for giving real value to the squad. Dunno...

And how is he gonna be used? As a winger, forward or an attacking midfielder? Chelsea needs a little more depth in the midfield as a few of their guys are injured.

It seems that the reason is deliberately made because the reason is not necessarily true coming from every player targeted by Manchester United.
For us, choosing not to join Manchester United is not bad news. We consider it a normal thing in the player transfer competition.

The player himself considered the move a great one and doesn't want to miss out on the chance of playing for Manchester United and also working with Erik Ten Hag. Saw some good finishings a video of him at Wolfsburg with good finishing qualities, would Sancho be back soon to offer to crosses into the box for him, I still wait for the English man to return. According to the coach he is not match fit but would be back soon. Agreement between Burnley and Besiktas is all that he awaits, he must've had a complete agreement with Man United already. With his fighting spirit from the World Cup, he deserves representing Manchester United.

Chelsea was fortunate to sign Joao Felix because they desperately needed a young player like him in their attacking line after Sterling and other players in the squad were injured. They could have missed out on signing him if they had waited too long because Arsenal was in talks with Atletico Madrid.

I hope the player does get fit into the team and brings victory back to Chelsea because the club is out of form and needs to start winning games in order to compete for a Champions League spot or even the Europa League because, as far as I can tell, the top four spots will be difficult for them to achieve.

Besiktas did not want to let him go, but he wasn't their player. He was on loan there and they had the option to keep him until the loan ends. But United decided to pay something to Besiktas just to terminate the loan now instead at the end of the season.

I think it’s is no longer a secret that Manchester United wanted a No 9 and Weghorst would represent an option they have not got in the squad, that physical presence as well as a strong scoring record at club and international level. Although it’s a loan deal but the move is thought to be Manchester United's focus before revisiting the position in the summer when there will be more attacking options available.

In general it's strange, Ronaldo went to Al-Nasr, Aboubakar to Besiktas, and Weghorst to Manchester United. It's an interesting turn of events.

Chelsea Fc is going through a lot, Fans are not excited about the current situation, it is no more news that many wants Porter out. But some couple months ago, clubs like Newcastle, arsenal even Manchester united was also in the same situation as Chelsea but they never sacked Eric Ten Hag, and He's now doing well today.. Though the condition has been the same for long, if we assume the late happenings to be a result of injury, it will be fair to give porter a chance to at least make use of the newly confirmed players. Many considerations have been made by Manchester United before deciding to bring in Weghorst. To be honest, I don't really follow the appearance of this player, but if you look at his statistics on the several teams he has defended, I think I can conclude he is a player to rely on at Manchester United. We'll see under the direction of Erik Ten Hag, will he become a wild player or even become an unsatisfactory transfer.

Wout Weghorst is a target for Manchester United, however Besiktas will only agree to a deal if they find a replacement for him. However, there is good news in that Wout Weghorst did not train with the team today, according to reports. According to reports in the Guardian, MU is now one step closer to bringing Weghorst to Old Trafford after reaching a verbal agreement with Besiktas and Manchester United themselves only plan to use Wout Weghorst's services until the end of this season. It is so unfortunate how bad Hazard and Philippe coutinho's bright careers have declined drastically in recent seasons. Obviously leaving the English Premier league for a move to La liga seem to be the start of their down fall and massive decline, both players are nothing close to the form they were before making a move to Spanish league. Them begging to return wouldn't be an option except their former clubs have plans of bringing them back to the club but I don't think Liverpool especially have any need to resign Coutinho because if they did they had an opportunity to do so before he accepted a move to join Aston Villa.

The case of Eden Hazard is utterly different from that of phillippe coutinho's if you ask me. Hazard as we know is an injury prone player while in Chelsea he was still regular on the pitch with minor short time injuries, unlike there in real Madrid where he has spent almost one-third of his whole stay in the club on injuries making him a bench warmer thereby affecting his form making isolating his existence in the club from the minds of Madrid fans and Europe.
With the situation at Chelsea at the moment with their staggering performance am not sure a player like hazard could be an option so going back to the club isn't feasible and I believe that's what phillippe saw about Liverpool that he has to opt for the Villa's as a possible option back to the EPL.
