I stand with Palestine.
Napoli want Alex Meret to extend his contract because they consider him as an important goalkeeper, but this reminds me of Osimhen situation last season where Napoli also said the same thing but how did it end? for now there is no interest from any club interested in Alex Meret plus he still wants to be with Napoli. One thing I am worried about is Napoli management can change their mind anytime and Conte can easily play any player to be dropped from the main squad.

I agree with you. Napoli wants Alex Meret to stay but I am not sure they mean it. Last season they said same thing about Osimhen and look what happened.
Right now no other teams want Meret and he wants to stay at Napoli. But I worry that Napoli management might change their minds suddenly.
New coach Antonio Conte is known for making tough decisions. If Meret does not fit his plans Conte can not hesitate to bench or transfer him.
Napoli should be honest and clear when negotiating Meret contract. Meret deserves to know where he stands. Only time will tell if Napoli truly wants Meret or if this is just temporary promise.

Alex Meret has always been an excellent player and certainly Antonio Conte who is certainly an excellent coach realizes that he is a player to keep in order to achieve an excellent result in the championship and in the cups it is easy to make capital gains with similar players but it is not also It's possible to sell off players who could do well so in my opinion they did well

Jamal Musiala is a Bayern Munich player and we are talking about Manchester City or Real Madrid trying to buy him. That is the risk Bayern Munich is facing at the moment as Musiala is performing very well and he is in a great situation to look forward to any negotiations and get the most out of it. With his contract ending in 2026, it means that next summer there is only one year of contract duration left and Bayern Munich has to make a final call. Either pay him the highest salary ever paid in the Bundesliga or let him go. And even then their situation isn't the best as Musiala could choose to stay for one more year and then leave as a free agent. That is why my guess is that Bayern will indeed offer him quite a bit more than 20 million per year. If that doesn't work, I don't know what other choices they are left with as letting Musiala go without getting a transfer fee is probably no option for them.
Musiala only get paid for 5 Million Euros lol, while other players who have a same skill like him get paid at least 15 Million Euros. If Bayern Munich not willing to increase his salary 5x than now, I'm sure Musiala will join other teams. Better for him to join Manchester City since he need to compete with Bellingham and Guler if he join Real Madrid. Kevin De Bruyne is already old, so Musiala can take his place.

Funny enough Arsenal has eyes on him before Chelsea did. I could remember vividly that was in January when Arsenal had huge interest in the player but i dont think they will agree for them man while Chelsea is way ahead of them for Viktor. Unfortunately Arsenal has reconsidered there interest in the pursuit of Viktor Gryokeres but i know it wont yeld any result. My reason is simple. If Arsenal wanted him they would have completed the deal with his agent. I think Arsenal is not interested in any player for now. Chelsea can go ahead and get him but i still doubt if they will agree with the terms and come to conclusion.

Arsenal didn't pursue the player seriously so they failed to get the player and I also see that Arsenal are trying to maximize the players they have.
There is no player that Arsenal have really seriously approached and maybe you are right as you say because Arsenal are not in a position to pursue any player and they have a much more potential squad now.
Chelsea have tried to make an approach and maybe the chances are much bigger and from what we see Chelsea are much more likely because they have the money to make the purchase.

The agreement between the club and the player often gets into trouble so that the club that intends to recruit him decides to back out.
I remember how Osimhen's drama and he failed to move to another club because there was too much drama and finally he was loaned out instead of being sold.

Gyökeres says he is happy at Sporting for now.

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1835674902126379484

His release clause is very high just as he says. It is 100 million euros.  Shocked  Even though he says he is happy there, I think he would be open to joining a bigger European team at the same time. It is all about meeting the team and player's demands.

No doubt he is happy now though.  Tongue  Sporting are destroying everyone in the Liga Portugal. Gyökeres also scored 8 goals in 5 games, just brilliant! He is likely to score 30+ goals this time in my opinion.

If only Arsenal signed him...  Roll Eyes
Gyökeres was on Arsenal’s radar, he was one player admired by Arteta and the club but he was too expensive for the Gunners to acquire. No doubt Arsenal were interested in signing a number nine to lead their attack this season especially after the departure of Eddie Nketiah but failed to finalize a deal with Sporting for Gyökeres until the end of the window but who knows, they could return in January to try again.
I think 100 million euros is a fair price for a player who has a good performance like Viktor Gyökeres last season he scored many goals and assists for Sporting CP so it is natural for the club to give a contract with a high release because Sporting CP does not want to lose this player for a cheap price, it seems that there will be many clubs interested in this player when the transfer window opens like Chelsea or Manchester United may not mind the price and maybe they can compete for this player because they need a productive attacking line like Viktor Gyökeres.

I actually thinks he is more likely to move to Chelsea football club than arsenal because Chelsea was one of the club that went for his signature during the just concluded transfer window and his agent was spotted at Chelsea stadium, in Stanford bridge during one of their games this season, so I believe that something is going on behind the scene, so I expect him to make a move to Chelsea since the deal between victor osimhen and Chelsea had  collapsed. So in essence, what am trying to say is that, Chelsea is actually the front runner for Gyökeres   signature before we talk about Arsenal.

I have no idea how much Bayern Munich would be asking for Jamal Musiala, but one thing is for sure, if he wants to leave the club then Bayern Munich is going to make it an expensive decision for him. I expected that Bayern Munich is willing to pay an irresistable salary for him and of course require a huge amount of money for a transfer. Only Manchester City and Real Madrid would be able to pay that amount of money.
If Bayern Munich can pay the money if they are desperate to buy him and the fee can be negotiable. He is a good player and worths more. This is one of the reason why I see that football is more of business than just sport. Like you said City or Madrid can pay the amount but it is not all the time that Madrid pays very high on a player because they can always get an alternative.

Bayern Munich performance is good and consistent presently which might give them some doubt to pay too much on Musiala because everyone is spending wisely so that it does not affects the club if the player decline in form after moving over.

Arteta did not make any rush to fill up that position, even though we as Arsenal supporters have demanded a striker. Rather than just signing anyone, Arteta has not signed anyone, which means that the possibility of Gyokores joining us is still there. The move will not happen, however, if the player has no interest in Arsenal because, based on his big performance, many other big European clubs will be interested in him.

Most of the big players and sort-after talent that have come to our club have come as a result of them being interested in the Arteta project; examples are Caliofori and Merino.

My transfer speculation is Osimhen moves to Galatasaray from Napoli on a loan deal that will last from September 2024 to 2025, which of which Galatasaray has the option to buy him, and I think they will probably take that option because Osimhen is an exceptional player, he puts continual effort to develop himself, and he will be an asset to anything he joins.

Joa Felix joining Chelsea from Athletico Madrid with a whooping transfer fee of fifty-two million dollars, it's contract to run from August 2024 to 2030, which shows how much value has been placed on him, I believe he will continue to maintain his value in Chelsea because he's a hard-working player, I think these two players are worth every penny that will be invested in them for transfer because they are talented and they are dedicated to their game.
Victor Osimhen is an exceptional player, he has widely proven himself to the world as one of the best attackers currently in the world. His loan move to Galatasaray seems to be the most talked about news currently and it seems to be working in his favour too. We will see if Osimhen will want to stay at Gala after his loan spell ends.

For Chelsea to return in the summer for Joao Felix just tells how much they value him and his services. Agreeing to a huge fifty two million fee and lengthy contract confirms the club is satisfied with his performance on loan at the club last season.

Joao Felix move was a good move to me because he’s just excellent for my liking. He plays better in other teams than he did when he was playing at Atletico Madrid. They did not bother to keep him because they don’t see his value. I was surprised Barcelona didn’t sign him after his loan term in the club which he contributed well to their game last season. Maybe the new coach does not like him. His move to Chelsea is already paying off because I can see his contribution in games already. Hopefully he’ll do better and do as much for Chelsea to thrive again.

The problem in this case is compatibility because seeing from what happened actually Joao at Atletico in his first seasons was still very good but indeed slowly the relationship between Joao and Simeone was stretched making the situation more difficult because no matter how hard it is to eliminate the feeling of discord just because of professionalism obviously it is a difficult situation and it happened for Joao and Simeone at Atletico.

He moved is the right thing to do because after all he had to do this especially after several seasons of adventures as a loan player then it is clear that there is no hope when forced at Atletico.
At Chelsea he was still given many opportunities although sometimes it was used as a substitute but I think this still looks better and Joao's focus now must show that he is not a failure at a very expensive price.

Joao Felix could not take advantage of many opportunities. He was transferred to big clubs but could not show the expected performance in many of them. We know that Joao Felix is a quality footballer but when he cannot show this on the field, things do not go well. Every team wants a player like Joao Felix but they also want him to be compatible with the team.

We will see if Joao Felix can play good football and support the team as expected this time. I think it is too early to evaluate Joao Felix's contributions to the team.

Galatasaray will not allow such asset to pass them buy when they already have him at their finger tips. Osimehn will be very important for them even after his loan expires and if he wish to stay back which I feel they’ll want him to, they’ll just become much better than they use to be. He could get bigger offers from bigger clubs, I hope Galatasaray can be able to pay him as much as other teams will bring for an offer because I feel that’s the only way they can keep such a talent with them. Osimhen wil be looking to get offer from bigger clubs by end of the loan term which I feel he will, he can then decide at that time where to move to or stay Bach at Galatasaray.

I guess it’s because a lot of football fans are still shocked to see Victor Osimhen agree to a move to Galatasaray after being linked to PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea. Galatasaray was not one of the best choices predicted for him in the summer. Many had anticipated a proposed move to the English Premier League, the Ligue 1 or Saudi. There is still a chance that he can complete a move to any if this leagues at the end of his loan with Galatasaray. Let’s hope he stays injury free and fit.
The most surprising one of all is the fact the he also got an offer from Saudi’s Al Ahli offering him a huge amount and still ended up joining Galatasaray. I feel he should have joined either of these clubs because he would have had a better season but the deal with Galatasaray is not that bad and he could still get offers from one of these clubs again and might stand a chance to revive his career.

If he can stay injury free and score goals for Galatasaray i also believe there is still a chance to join one of the teams that wanted him.

Oumar Solet is officially free agent, it's really weird Salzburg don't want to extend his contract since he performed really well in the last two seasons. His salary is cheap, he got paid for 250K Euros, while there are many players they paid for 3-4x from his salary.

Unfortunately only small and unpopular leagues still open for transfer window, he choice either join Galatasaray or Fenerbahce, or playing in Saudi Professional League.

It is not a good experience for a twenty-four-year-old player to be a free agent without a club. At this age, players are meant to be at the prime of their careers and chased after by many clubs. It is sad to know that the French international's contract has been terminated by Austrian club RB Salzburg. He was linked to many clubs such as West Ham United, Liverpool and Manchester United but none of them materialised. He once went for medicals in Hoffenheim but the contract collapsed because he failed the clinical tests. His options are very slim now since the transfer window of many top leagues is closed. The Turkish transfer window closed on September 13th, so he has to consider leagues in Azerbaijan, Israel or Saudi Arabia.

As far as I know, even if it is not an open transfer market, a club can acquire a player if he is a free agent right?
If that is true, I don’t think he has to be under too much pressure because of the transfer market being closed.
But if that is not the case, then he is in big trouble.
Because this is the age when he should be performing at his best and showing his best performances.
if he has no club and he has to stay away from football for one whole season, it is definitely going to have a big effect on his career.

Leroy Sane has been linked with a move to Newcastle United with his contract coming to an end  this season. I don't see him returning to a club with no chance of playing in the Champions League Competition if he eventually leaves Bayern Munich and we have seen the incompetency of Eddie Howe for the past season, joining Newcastle United would be a no no!

We all can agree that Jordan Pickford has been poor since the start of the season. That aside, he is also not a good goalkeeper who knows how to serve the ball and at the same time filled with lost of errors. Sean Dyche is considering dumping him to get a new goalkeeper if he doesn't improve.
He is no different from Aaron Ramsdale honestly when I pay close attention to the both of them. Not just the goalkeeper, I feel like Sean Dyche is just good for resurrecting clubs about to be dumped and relegated. The management should also look into the coach.
Sane to Newcastle sounds like a deal Newcastle United can make happen. In recent transfer windows we have seen some cool names joining Newcastle United and it will a matter of time before we see this one happening too.

I totally agree that Jordan Pickford has not been anywhere close to his best this season same as Ramsdale since joining Southampton from Arsenal.

Looks like Rabiot finally have a team.
According to Fabrizio romano, Olympique Marseille have reached an agreement with the player.

The deal will be for 2 years, till 2026.

Otherwise according to rumors the salary will be lower then the 10mil per year wanter, halved.

https://football-italia.net/multiple-reports-rabiot-olympique-marseille/

Marseille actually cooking, he was definitely asking for too much money. Where teams like Milan, Manchester United, Newcastle have calmed down, they are just creating over-hype. You know, he just wanted that money because he felt like it would be a downgrade for him. that’s why he either wanted a crazy amount of money that Galatasaray wasn’t going to pay and even if they actually did pay him that much money, it would be worth it to go to the Turkish for that much money.

This former Juventus, PSG midfielder is not as much of a great player as he thinks himself to be. I am really not trying to trash-talk him. But when a player asks for so much money, it is actually hard not to talk trash about him.

He’s definitely going to have some competition. But the coach seems to play a midfield heavy formation. So I think he will be able to get some good playing time if he is able to play well.

This deal isn’t a straight one year loan deal, because there is a break in clause of the deal which is proposed to be in January transfer window. They were talks that clubs like Chelsea did ran out of time to sign Osimhen and there’s believe that they could come back again. Looking at the way Chelsea are playing and many are calling out their only striker Nickolas Jackson I think it wouldn’t be surprising to see them looking for Osimhen again in the winter break, Osimhen was actually intelligent this time around to have a break in clause in this loan deal and also agree a new Napoli contract that so the release club reduced to €75m which is more affordable to clubs scouting him, all he needs now is to get more playing time and add goals to his game at Galatasaray and he would be on the market once again.

Arsenal have missed out in signing big football talents and if you ask me, Gyökeres is definitely another big miss for the Gunners. The club management knew they needed a big and sharp striker like Gyokeres who can create and score goals from nothing but still refused to activate his release clause when they had the chance. Now that many of the top clubs in Europe are reportedly interested in the Swedish striker, signing him now will be more difficult if you ask me

Arsenal actually needed a striker this summer and they failed to get one which was bad seriously, but I don’t buy the idea that they missed out of this guy Gyökeres just yet. Arsenal were reluctant to sign him this summer because of his release clause which is around €100m and I think I agree with them not taking the risk, Gyökeres has actually had one exceptional season which was last season and a €100m will be a huge gamble considering the league he is even coming from. Although Arsenal should have gone for other strikers but they didn’t which was the only reason I blame them.
