It isn't any surprising news to me. He has had a great time at the team so far and the team must be very contented with his high effort so far. Maybe he can be a selfish player sometimes but he is a very talented player in the attacking line. He has contributed to so many goals of the team. He is only 22 years old now. I wouldn't expect him to be signed by another team that easy from now on. He is already playing at one of the most powerful teams in Europe now and I don't think that he'd change his mind as long as he is a regular in the starting eleven.

Because in the last transfer market, Manchester united had tried hard to get De Jong and even barcelona and manchester had got an agreement for the transfer of De Jong, but the transfer was finally canceled only because of De Jong's desire to stay at barcelona, so I think if De Jong want to leave now of course it looks like he has started to regret his decision to stay at barcelona in the transfer last summer.
