Are you kidding. PSG recruiting top players is not just to please the fans, there are other ambitions that want to be realized to reach the peak of the club's glory. Hasn't PSG not won the Champions League trophy so far? The goal of PSG owners is to recruit quality players like Neymar, Messi and other players just to get the Champions League title. If only relying on Mbappe alone, it is impossible for PSG to go further in the Europa League, even in Ligue 1 they will have difficulties.
The money spent to bring in players is not only for the Domestic League Trophy, PSG also wants to make achievements in the Champions League.

Having said that, another problem Ronaldo might likely face in Manchester United this season is playing time, he might not get as much playing time as he will want, and that might create problems between himself and the manager, but overall, whatever the outcome is, Ronaldo must act like a professional that he is, and give his very best to the team whenever he is called upon.
