Koulibaly has arrived in London to complete his medical before flying to Los Angeles in the coming hours to be unveiled and join the squad. Raheem Sterling has spent one season with the team.

One down, two more defenders to go, probably Kimpembe or Koulibaly and then Ake. Let's not sign all three as that'll not give playings time to Levi Colwill and he's one of the younglings I'll love Tuchel to give a chance to. Look how giving Trevoh Chalobah, James etc some opportunity to prove themselves played out, Colwill should also be given same opportunity or we'll reject just as we have in the past since we're known for letting our young talents leave the club or go on loans.
We're signing all three of them, we had the same opportunity to buy more defenders last season but the fans and manager were too satisfied with what we had until mid December when we started having injury and covid19 problems, we need at least three players in each position, that's how Manchester City and Liverpool were able to leapfrog us from first place in January when Chilwell and James were injured for four months with no backup.

James, Mount, and Chalobah all had chances and took them; they were never guaranteed first team football, so I don't understand why Colvil and his agent are asking the club for first team football based on a single brilliant season in the championship. We should sell and hire someone better. He's not even that unique.

Let's get it done with the defense quickly so some attention can be given to the attack. Yes we have secured sterling but is that enough to compete with Liverpool and Manchurian city for the title, not yet. We need a striker or better alternative to our current attacking force assuming we'll be using Havertz as a false 9 next season.
We are not always unlucky with strikers, so I believe that if we can bring in a creative midfielder and another winger, Havertz and Werner will be able to fill the number 9 role.

For Cristiano Ronaldo there is from Saudi Arabia an offer of 300 million euros. But with that he would not play Champions League... but his bank account do very well with it. Atransfer fee of 30 million euros and 125 million euros per season. If he decides to go for it, then it should be his last club.

It's a fantastic offer but will Ronaldo agree to the offer?
Right now Ronaldo is still said to be a supertar in Europe, but maybe you have to sacrifice Saudi Arabian oaks to play there with just that fantastic salary, I think even in the English league staying with Man United would be better, plus Ten Hag now who leads every game if only for money Ronaldo will certainly leave but if it is because of his loyalty to Manchester United he still stays.

This is still a hot new rumor.
I don't think Ronaldo will leave for money, if he wanted to do that he should have done it a long time ago, but football is not just about it but there is more to it than what Ronaldo has said and done.
no matter how big the offer from Saudi Arabia is, I'm sure Ronaldo will still choose his love or career. now rumors are circulating that Ronaldo will soon leave Manchester United because he has not been seen joining the team until now but as the new coach of Manchester United Ten Hag has said that Ronaldo will be included in his plans next season to improve Manchester United's performance by doing so I'm sure Ronaldo's love for Manchester United will show even if he won't be playing in the Champions League.
Chelsea had stopped their purported bid for Ronaldo that is one of the few clubs that can afford to pay his wages and UCL would have been guaranteed, however he won't accept whatever offer that comes from Saudi Arabia despite the huge offer of the contract, because he is only interested in playing for a top team in Europe as well as playing champion league, however with the look of things I think he will stay in Man Utd in the coming season, he should stay and assist Erik Ten Hag to rebuild a formidable team so that UCL should be their top priority as well as play and win Europa league which is another means of  UCL qualification.

He was hated mostly the fans because he didnt want to extend his contract. He was booed on a lot of matches we will see in future if they will continue to. He has now extended his contract for only a year i think until 2024 so that isnt a really long period
Dembele and his agent tried to buy time and maybe tried to maximize the chances of getting a high contract offer, but in the end Barcelona gave in and he was on a free transfer for some time as his contract expired. But recently he started taking Barcelona offers and it was a good decision for him after so long of drama about his future at Barcelona.

It's natural for fans to be angry with him because he doesn't seem to have good faith in Barcelona's desire to keep him in the team. Xavi wants him to stay because he knows that Dembele will be a useful player for him.

I'm really surprised to see Dembele to stay at Barcelona when only In january there were many things against him, and he wasn't desired by team.

About Serie A, I'm disappointend for Koulibaly, really disgusting to see a management that only think about his profits and not to give fan possibility to dream a title win. Koulibaly has left Napoli, and this is a very big lost for them.

Not so, there are times when players will be preferred by fans if they are able to make a good impact on the club, many similar cases occur in football and players who don't want to extend their contracts, but because the impact is good, the ridicule will disappear by itself, of course the player have their own reasons for not renewing the contract, even though in the end they also held on for a short period of time

What's the point of De Jong being in Barcelona if the team is after salary reduction and looking actively to sell him? I get that he wants to stay, but if they do not want him to stay, forcing them to keep him wouldn't really make his life better.

Look at what happened to Bale, he was a great player who just didn't wanted by his team and because he had a huge salary, he didn't get any playing time in order to be convinced of leaving, and he didn't because he wanted that money and couldn't get it anywhere else. In return, he wasn't played, and basically kept off the roster and now he is not a player he used to be and not wanted as much by other clubs neither.
Quite agree with what you say but in this case the case of Bale and De Jong is quite different, because indeed when Bale left he was out of contract there and there was no reason for Madrid to prevent Bale from leaving.
As for De Jong, it's a bit complicated because even though Barcelona have financial difficulties, I think they want it a lot.
They were ready to release De Jong at first with a fairly large price, after being agreed a new clause appeared again which made it clear that the team that wanted to bring De Jong was difficult.

I don't think Napoli made a big mistake (selling koulibaly), From the news that I heard, Napoli's main target is Dybala (attacker) and also Kim Min-Jae (defender), now the funds that Napoli have received are enough to buy these two players. in series A, Napoli is one of the teams that enliven the transfer market this time.

I'm still imagining if it is possible for Barcelona to get Lewandowski, and Barcelona needs thus pkayer so badly in their squad to have a strong squad against next season.

Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sport says that Lewandowski is not expected to be present on Saturday's Team Presentation ceremony. So, maybe he will be sold, or maybe fans do not really want to see him now, after all that mess.

Manchester United are planning a medical for Lisandro Martinez prior to his arrival from Ajax, and United is hoping the Argentina international can shortly join the preseason tour United.
Martinez should be the team's second signing of the summer as Ajax CEO and former United player Edwin van der Sar has made it clear to the entire board that a deal of €55 million must be reached. The finishing touches are currently being put on the deal.

Christian Eriksen a on a free transfer from Brentford who United believe to join the team after passing his medical, has a three-year deal with United that will pay him up to £150,000 per week.

Ousmane Dembele has signed a new two-year contract with Barcelona to remain at the Camp Nou, Ousmane Dembele's contract with Barcelona expires at the end of June, but the winger has agreed a two-year new contract.
Although Barca had insisted that Dembele will be sold or released on a free transfer at the conclusion of the season after the winger rejected a contract extension, Barca on Thursday made it official that Dembele will stay with the Catalan.

Dembele wanted to leave initially because he actually thought the club had no ambition, and was ready to force through a move to another club, but it is now very clear that due to some players that Xavi have signed, the player was now very keen to extend his contract at the club. This is  a very good news for Barca and for Barca fans because indeed Dembele is a good player that the club never wanted to let go.

You are correct that Xavi as a coach has played his part the summer transfer window in bringing in new players to allow the team to fight more with the top teams in the Spanish league.
For the games of the upcoming season, Barca now has a strong team.

They say Bayern is ready to discuss Lewandowki's case with Barcelona only when they offer 50mln AND agree to pay instantly. Germans will reject any payments in installments, as they remember Barcelona's problems with payments for Vidal. On the other hand, they need 70mln to pay for De Ligt from Juventus, so that deal would be an interesting for them.

I think the news may be over soon, on the other hand recently barcelona spent €58 million to sign right wing Raphinha. He will be up front help Aubameyang, Xavi has set up this formation so the chances of Lewandowski being between them are slim. Limited funds and the complicated of the Lewandowski negotiation process maybe one of the reasons Barcelona discouraged from signing the 33-year-old player. However, Barcelona have made changes to the transfer market this season and they are ready for next season

The latest speculation surrounding Ronaldo involves crazy money - even for a world-famous footballer.

Apparently, a club in Saudi Arabia have offered him €300 million (that's £254 million) to play for them for two seasons... so roughly 100 weeks in two years, that works out as €3 million a week.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cv26xqywgrno

If true, I suppose a lot of this is due to the publicity and sales it will generate for the club, rather than a measure of what he could offer on the pitch (particularly as he'd be 39 by the end of the contract). Even so though, it's quite an astonishing offer.

I was just going to talk about this rumour. It is an enormous deal and this kind of teams don't see it a big deal to pay fantastic amount of money for a star footballer. However I don't expect Ronaldo to take this deal and go. Because his wish is to be able to compete in the Champions League. This Saudi team can't give this to him. Ronaldo has no problem with money also and he is still very ambitious about winning big titles. Therefore I expect him to reject this offer.

His wish may be to play in the Champions League, but realistically, how many Champions League clubs will be willing to pay a transfer fee plus astronomical wages for a 37 year old? And even then we'd need to limit it further, I doubt he'd be willing to play for any Champions League side, it would have to be one of the handful of big name global clubs. And none of them seem interested. I don't think he can play for a top team on top wages. He can play for a lesser team (e.g. the Saudi example) on top wages, or he could offer to take a pay cut to play for a top Champions League side, or middle ground he could get top money playing for a decent-ish side and remain at Man U.

Seems Bayern Munich are not ready to give Lewandowski for lesser amount except for the amount they have already fixed for his transfer,  and up till this time Barcelona can't afford the amount Bayern Munich wants to give out for the player. This difficult situation will be passed by De Jong. Through the agent, he has already told him whether he wants to stay in Barcelona or has no intention of leaving Barcelona.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1547145809715658754?cxt=HHwWhICwvda6yPgqAAAA

It doesn't have to be to Manchester United if De Jong is let go by Barcelona. Indeed, at this time, the club that really wants the 25-year-old is Manchester United. But if Barca want to save De Jong who had to be released because he was forced to due to financial problems, then I think Barca can release De Jong to another club that plays in the UEFA Champion League.

An interesting situation. I do not support De Jong that he wants to stay in Barcelona, but if he wants to stay on such conditions (without cutting wages), then he is great. The club already owes him 20 million, enough to make concessions, especially given that, as they say, Barcelona just bought Rafinha either for 60 million, or for 58 + 7 (no official figures yet).

Actually I'm not so sure that Chelsea will be able to compete with Manchester City and Liverpool next season. The previous season they could actually compete, but towards the end of the league they couldn't be consistent and in the end they had to be knocked out of the competition.
Next season I see that Chelsea will be slightly below Manchester City and Liverpool.
The previous season Chelsea were also having problems with their own internal team, which made Chelsea's steps to be hampered, including when they wanted to buy new players and also when they wanted to move in a better direction. And it clearly affects Chelsea's performance in every match and match in the Premier League.
Have you forgotten that Chelsea had overwhelmed Real Madrid in the Champions League this season?
So overall it can also be an important reference for next season where Chelsea will be better than this season.
