Finally Calvin Philips officially went to play at Manchester City, this became another big push that Manchester City tried to bring for next season. I don't think that Ronaldo would like to return to Sporting for now. In Bayern Munich, he will not have to play really hard to prove that he is one of the best footballers. Now if Robert Lewandowski stays in Bayern Munich that is going to be a mistake for the player because I believe his performance will surely deteriorate. and if Mane is able to perform somewhat better than Robert Lewandowski it will make Mane’s performance look a lot better.

I was also actually shocked to see the release clause being so high. I can only imagine that Barcelona has some long-term plans for this player. His initial contract is going to be a four-year contract. I think this is actually good for Barcelona as they have got this player as a free CONTRACT. Barcelona should look for these players who are free agents and also will be good for the team composition instead of trying to get Robert Lewandowski for almost 50 million.

I think he will return to sport but not for now, he still has ambitions to play in competitive leagues. Maybe he will return to Sporting a season before he retires, because I heard that he wants to end his career at the club where he started. In most leagues release clause aren't usually included in deals it's always up to the club whether or not they want sanction the sale of a player or not, PSG for the example. Usually La Liga teams usually put a fair amount until it's become exploited by some big clubs and players who just want out by any means necessary, the case of Neymar transfer to PSG is perhaps still the biggest deal to have happened through the release clause, Barcelona at that point definitely wouldn't have sold Neymar but the release forced their hands. And that Neymar deal directly or indirectly is part of what led Barcelona to their current financial situation.

Of course it would be great if Cristiano Ronaldo stayed and played a role that could bring Manchester United back into the Champions League. He will be a player who will be known as the most meritorious player for Manchester United.

I personally think that the chance of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Manchester United are extremely slim to be honest. I mean it is a totally normal thing that the agents of players are reaching out to many different clubs to offer the services of their players to them during the transfer period in the summer. They are doing that even if the players do not really want to leave their current club just to improve their position for the next upcoming salary negotiations.
I can not imagine Ronaldo leaving Manchester United because as far as i know he is earning around 30 Million € per year their after taxes, which is a huge amount. I highly doubt that there is any other big club out there that would offer Ronaldo a salary this high. Maybe PSG because it is only the money of the sheikh there.

As I said before, Mane isn't naturally a striker. Maybe he can contribute well still but it would be better to benefit from him by putting him on the left wing. I know that there is Sane there but they can give both of them chances in many games as well. I hope this doesn't become a big failure for Bayern Munich if they still insist on putting Mane on the centre-forward position in case Lewandowski leaves. I wouldn't expect him to contribute as big as Lewandowski there.
