I think Juventus are asking a very high price for Matthijs de Light to prevent the player from moving. Because we know that Juventus has yet to bring in a new defender, even though Juventus have just lost Giorgio Chiellini.
That's what I exactly said above, it is probably the reason why De Light's price is too expensive.
Yes, Chiellini decided to retire, Juventus lost one of their strong defenders. De Light is one of the main defenders now, Juventus mustn't lose him also. If Juventus sell him, Juventus may be difficult to get a replacement.

Jules Kounde is a good choice, and also I'm sure the price of Kounde will not be as expensive as Matthijs de Light.
Indeed. Koundé is also a top defender, he is the main defender of Sevilla.
Regarding the price, based on transfermarkt.com, Koundé value is about €60.00m while De Light value is €70.00m. Surely, Koundé price is lower than De Light, but it isn't categorized as a cheap price.  Grin

I was hopeful about Ronaldo to stay but it looks like this isn't going to happen. It depends on whether he finds a team just like he wants too of course. Ronaldo has really achieved huge successes so far but he is just very ambitious that he wants to continue doing this. However I don't know if one of the big teams in the Champions League would like to sign him now. Maybe Bayern Munich would do so if they sold Lewandowski to Barcelona. Other than them, no team come to my mind for now.
christiano Ronaldo asked man United to let him go if he got a good offer, and as you said besides Bayern Munich I don't think other teams can make a good offer and he'd accept playing for them, btw where can I bet on Ronaldo to move to Bayern Munich with crypto and no kyc ? If anyone knows please share options with me.

From what I can understand, Chelsea offered 55 million sterlin, and Barcelona didn't offer that much, they offered less. This means that they are going to end up with a lot less money if he goes to Barcelona. This is why Leeds wants to sell him to Chelsea, but Raphinha wants to go to Barcelona instead. All of this creates a situation where its at a mexican stand off. This means that the best thing that could be done, is to get Barcelona to offer 55 million as well, this way both Leeds would get the money they want, and at the same time the player would be able to go to the club he wants to go to. At the end of the day, its players power, if he declines to join Chelsea, then Leeds would have to sell him to Barcelona eventually.

It is reported that it will be a loan for Lenglet to Spurs for one year with a partial salary to be paid by Barcelona.
De Jong joined ManU according to several articles with some others mentioning that he isn't that happy with joining them..
Meanwhile, Dembele is a free agent now, Barcelona is offering a huge reduction of his salary and he refused obviously. With Raphinha joining Barca soon, I think Dembele should find another team to play for. There is rumours about Bayern, PSG and Chelsea looking forward to sign him.
Another rumor is that Raphinha turned down offers to join Chelsea, Leeds United, and also Arsenal just to play at the club of his dreams since childhood, El Barca. I don't know why he chose Barcelona when the finances were unstable. but the positive side is that behind the refusal to be able to play at a dream club is a matter of pride for a Raphinha. Under Xavi's tutelage, I believe Raphinha can develop his talent.

It is no more a rumour about Ronaldo to leave as it seems. Because I think that Fabrizio Romano is one of the most trustworthy sources on internet. I'm curious what made him make this choice especially. It is said that he doesn't see any ambition in this team but they are just starting with Erik ten Hag. Maybe he doesn't want to be a part of the Europa League rather than the Champions League now. Roma have been interested in him but they aren't in a much different situation also.

Ronaldo habit will not leave the club without a title so if Ronaldo wants to move at least he has to give one title
also as the top scorer in the league this is a reputation that has been maintained to this day and I don't think he will spoil it
This season's transfer window can be closed without Ronaldo name there.

Ronaldo already has a career that is well spent. He has achieved everything and I believe there is nothing again that he will need to achieve in football apart from lifting the world Cup. So if I were him I would be loyal to Manchester United fans at this bad time. He will be their legend and role model in the pitch, this will pay high more rather than jumping to another club. Apart from my natural love to the blues, as also a lover of Manchester united, I might not be able to watch Ronaldo anymore if he leave Manchester United for another club.

Let me just still believe it is a rumor and I will treat it like a rumour till I am proven wrong or otherwise.

I can't really say much on this but you don't always see clubs extending contracts of  players who are underperforming. Neymar in recent seasons clearly have dropped in form and if PSG decide to sell or send him out on loan it will be an understandable decision from the club because you can’t be paying high wages to a player who is not playing to expection. If you want an extended contract with high wages you should earn it reference to Mo Salah at Liverpool

Yeah. He had a pretty disappointing time at the club and I think he would probably do well to try his luck somewhere else to find his game.
I can understand a club making a final decision on whether he stays or goes but I think Neymar has probably had enough at PSG and would probably be quite willing to try a new challenge.

Fabrizio Romano reports that CR7 has made his decision to leave in summer as he sees no ambition following failure of making any signing till now in the transfer window. (Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1543287644393725952) . United hopes to keep him but it will be hard to go against his decision. Also this will not go well amongst United fans.

Where he can go?

I doubt he will go for free since he has 2 more years of the contract, he could leave for 10m.

He will probably want to play in the next Champions so I think there are only 2 clubs where he could go, Chelsea or PSG.
I did not expect him to be at Chelsea because indeed this will be one of the talk of betrayal of players to the club again as has happened in the past years because it is like it is not allowed for players to move to their rival clubs.
Last season, the response to the issue of Ronaldo moving to City was already a lot of fire, how is it now. for sure this will bring some riotous militants like last season Cheesy

Ronaldo's decision about leaving has made me really shocked honestly. Because I really believed in Bruno Fernandes' statement about him like there was no problem about his staying for now. Maybe he changed his mind very quickly. Anyway as he made his decision I wonder how many clubs would be eager to sign him now. He wants a bigger competition so his first choice would be joining a team that have qualified for the Champions League group stage I assume. If he doesn't find a suitable team then maybe he might rethink of staying.

Well we have never seen that Ronaldo plays anything but champions league. His main focus is the champions league and making those records unbeatable and he is searching for a champions league club. But most of the biggest clubs dont want him so im really wondering what clubs are intrested in him.

Bruno's remarks are actually quite convincing but now that Ronaldo has made up his mind it is very hard to argue with and he seems to want to leave now.
It's quite difficult to keep him at Manchester United with his current condition because his ambition to play well and have great competitiveness there can't be given by MU so there's really no reason to stay, especially at his age when it's nearing the end.

We already heard a rumor about this since Man United has a new coach, so his decision to leave isn't so surprising for me. Bruno makes a statement that CR7 has no problem in Man United to make all fans feel not worried. But in reality, CR7 may feel unhappy with the current situation in Man United, including they are not qualified for UCL next season. It is true that CR7 always wants to play in the highest competition, it is UCL competition. Every season, he personally targets to achieve the League trophy and UCL trophy. Sure, only top clubs that fit with CR7, such as PSG, Bayern, Real Madrid, or Chelsea. But I don't think he is eager to move to Chelsea. I guess he will move to another league, probably League 1, Bundesliga, or La Liga.

According to rumors, the 1st official bid for DeLigt from Chelsea is very close.
it can happen in a day and always according to rumors it will be 70m €+bonuses, Juventus wants 100m € in value.
€100m is huge money for a center-defender although he is still 22 years old. If Chelsea is still owned by Roman Abramovich, I believe Chelsea has no problem with that amount of money. But Chelsea is no longer owned by Abramovich, I doubt Chelsea has that big money to sign a single center-back. €70m + bonuses is actually a good offer, Juventus may still try to prevent De Light by charging a high price for him. Chelsea has €70m, so needs more money (€30m) to get a deal. I think €30m isn't a little amount of money, it is still far from a "close deal".  Grin

Anyway, I heard a rumor that Chelsea found another target. They are in talks with Sevilla management to negotiate for Jules Koundé. They probably think De Light price is too expensive, Jules Koundé becomes the alternative.

We have always seen huge price tags placed on players this days, Chelsea signed Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan for an amount close to £140m, Manchester City signing Erling Haaland for £100m and Jack Grealish also. Some of this player seem to be worth the price tag though but signing a centre back for £100m is really much, how many defenders can you get if you need to sign 3 to 4 defenders especially with Chelsea which need to replace their outgoing defenders I think it wouldn't be wrong going for another alternative.

It's hard to believe this but indeed this is a decision that Ronaldo has made and even if he doesn't want to believe it but when Fabrizio has said this then this possibility will come true.
Now just waiting for which club now will bring him. But if the EPL I doubt now because I still feel he will not accept another club in the EPL other than MU.

It looks like there are four teams which are after Jesse Lingard now. With Tottenham's joining, these teams are Tottenham, Everton, West Ham and Newcastle. When we consider the qualities of these teams Tottenham are one step ahead of the others. However West Ham might get ahead in this deal too because he played for them on loan before. His performance was great then too. Lingard must be aware that he will be no more than a reserve player for Tottenham. He can play in many more games if he goes to West Ham.
Lingard had uncertain situation because so far there are no clubs who serious want him and regarding the rumours he targeted by 4 clubs it is still remain rumours even Tottenham already get Richarlison so small chance for Lingard to joining this team and for West Ham actually Moyes want to bought him because they impress to his performance during loaned but there is no further step about this news and now Everton reported watching him because they looking for the replacement of Richarlison and Everton will talk with his agent soon but this still far from an agreement
In my opinion Jessie Lingard is a good player, I like his style of play, his runs and the dedication he puts into the team and his work rate is wonderful. After a successful season at West Ham United, I expected them to sign him on a permanent deal but I'm a little disappointed with how it's going. I don't know why the deal has stalled cause I think Manchester United will be open to sell, maybe the hammers are not agreeing with his price tag or something I'm not sure but if Everton can get him on their side it will be a good addition for Frank Lampard.

Good question..

Jorge Mendes is looking for options and last week he had meeting with Chelsea owner Ted Boehly. Chelsea one is possible but it will bring lot of criticism towards Ronaldo from United fans as Chelsea are one of the strong rivals in PL. It's a tough one where he would go...maybe Barca? just kidding. Cheesy

According to early reports, Neymar's transfer speculation was sparked by Brazilian's negative reaction to Nasser Al-Khelaifi's comments. Reportedly, Al-Khelaifi said, "A possible departure of Neymar this summer? What I can tell you is that we expect all players to do a lot more than last season. A lot more! They must all be 100%. Obviously, we weren't good enough to go far."

It is clear to everyone that this message was addressed to Neymar. As the English media reports, Chelsea's new owners have already begun negotiations with Neymar for a transfer. The new owners have enough money for transfers and will do everything possible to further strengthen their team. Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel managed Neymar at PSG for three seasons, so he knows all of his strengths and weaknesses very well. In addition, the "blues" have no permanent left-winger, so Neymar would have virtually no competition there!

Are you sure about this? Maybe it was addressed to Messi who, after his transfer, had the worst season of his career? There are rumors that PSG want to get rid of both Neymar and Messi already, but I would not be sure about Messi since he is part of the promotional campaign for the World Cup held in Qatar. Perhaps after the tournament he will be sold, but not before.
I think it's hard to admit that Neymar and Messi's performances have dropped, because if that's the case I'm sure PSG won't hesitate to sell players. In this case, it seems that Neymar is the only one who gets this treatment and also, some sources say the main problem is about the amount of salary so that Neymar is no longer needed by PSG for next season. Because for me, Neymar's performance is still good but if PSG no longer need him because of his declining performance then that is a good reason to go on loan or sell him. Just can't imagine them confidently making a long-term contract for Neymar with a lot of money, but after Mbappe got a new contract Neymar seems to be no longer respected.
I can't really say much on this but you don't always see clubs extending contracts of  players who are underperforming.
