There's more and more real smoke around this 'Nunez to Liverpool' story.
At first I fully dismissed it as I knew it would take a huge bid to force Benfica to sell but apparently we are ready to bid and it is close to actually happening.

I don't really know how to feel here. I do think he's good, but I don't feel he's nowhere near as good as Haaland. I have been really happy with our transfer dealings in the last few years so I'll just have faith in our transfer team.

We do need a forward though - and Nunes is one of the most promising ones available.
Both Manchester United and Liverpool are in direct contact with his agent, but according to sources, Liverpool has tabled a €80 + €20m add-on bonus and is now waiting for Benfica's response, no bid from Manchester United yet only talks, I've not really watched the young lad but wonder kids from the Portuguese league always turn out to be a bargain in the long run, C. Ronaldo, Joe Felix are just a few examples.

I have no doubt about the Liverpool scout; if the club is willing to pay such a high price for him, Numez must be something special. Liverpool do need a stand-alone striker; Mane has been more of a false 9 since Diaz arrived.

Sergio Busquets role has limited Frankie De Jong from performing at his best. He is a No 6, a sitter, but since he cannot displace Busquets from that position Xavi has to convert him to a Box-Box midfielder which is a new role for him and that is why he has not really been playing his best football. There are rumors that Busquets will be leaving Barcelona to the USA. I expect him to take over that position properly. I am not sure if Barcelona will sell him to Manchester united. They are financially unstable at the moment, if they should receive a heavy sum for him, they'll like let him go.

Sergio Busquets presence have been a great barrier for Frankie De Jong in the team. If Busquets leaves, de Jong will get back his role and be of his best performance in the team.  Barca boss, Xavi's can't keep Busquets on the bench and use a Frankie who just came in the team, he needs to pass through due process because Busquets have been in the team for such a long time and already gather experience in the team and Laliga at large. The only thing possible is, if sergio have a possible linkup move elsewhere, that means Frankie will definitely get his role back and start donating to the teamwork as usual.

But indeed until now Mane's future is also unclear because if I'm not mistaken some time ago Liverpool clearly rejected the proposal given by Bayern regarding Mane because the price was not as expected.
But this transfer window is still a long way off, anything can happen and Bayern still have enough time now to bring Mane to the Alianz Arena
I hope there are other potential clubs that can take Mane away from Liverpool. In my opinion, Bayern Munich wants a lower price but as seen today, for the price that has been set it seems as if he is being held but with conditions that make Mane even more uncomfortable.
Right now, maybe there are many who want Mane but the problem seems to be that Mane's heart is already at Bayern because it's always Bayern and Bayern that are the talk Cheesy
Currently Bayern have also increased the price and this is clearly very good, of course it is also an option for Liverpool whether they still insist on keeping Mane or releasing him at a price of 40 million euros now.

I'm hearing some rumour about Darwin Nunez to join Liverpool this summer. I strongly believe that this would be one of the epic deals for Liverpool. He has a pure talent for scoring now and his performance last season was just mesmerizing in my opinion. He scored 34 goals in 41 matches which was incredible to see. But there is an important point about this transfer too. Benfica might want at least 85 million pounds for him and then I will be very curious about how much Liverpool would be eager to sign him. In my opinion he is definitely worth that much.

The way things are going, I don't think Mane will leave Liverpool this summer, because his team are imposing strict rules that is scaring away teams that sre interested in opening bids with the Senegalese agent. Liverpool board should let him leave the club this summer since they are adamant to increase his salary and besides Mane needs to start earning well in the team because he is one of the tough and keyplayers the team has. Moreover some players are earning more than him, player like Oxlade Chamberlain who barely play games since he's unfit for games, the more reason Mane needs to leave the club.
Liverpool seem to let their players leave the club quite often when players want an extra salary for their big contribution. Salah and Mane should be their priority for extra pay as they are the players who brought their success so far but when both are not considered then I think leaving is the only way for them.

There are several clubs who really want to get it but of course Liverpool have to lower the selling price. Next season these two players will be more likely to leave on free transfers because they may not want to sign a contract because they do not get an additional salary agreement. Of course it will cost Liverpool from a financial point of view.

They even said that now Bayern has angered them and that they will be even stricter in negotiations. Great job once again.

If Liverpool succeed at chasing away all the clubs interested in Mane and he end up not getting a move from Liverpool, I won't be angry with Mane if he under perform next season because Liverpool isn't been fair here. This is a player you have been underplaying when compared to his mates elsewhere and yet he has been delivering but now he wants to leave since you don't want to increase his salary but again you're introducing strick rules to chase away interested clubs that isn't fair.

This is business, a bid was offer, if you don't like it you reject and wait for the next bid. Already Mane isn't happy at Liverpool and this isn't just because of the salary, let's not forget a whole state is relying on this young Man as he basically feeds them. Let him go and get better treatment elsewhere not introducing strick rules to sabotage the process.

Lorenzo Insigne is an Italian Star and European Champion in 2021. He played for SSC Napoli for 10 years and is go to Toronto FC. With 31 years, he can still play for 3-4 years. At Toronto, I don't see any player with whom he directly meets an Italian, maybe Jordan Perruzza. I'm sure it was all about the money, it could gone better.

here is a nice cartoon, which shows what K. Mbappe has decided for his contract extension in paris.
and i say that psg will not win the next champions league either and therefore the trophy will still remain hidden for KM Grin

Well considering that he is still pretty young and the amount of money offered by PSG is alot, I'd say he made the 'best' decision for now. After his new contract expires, he could go to another club to pursue all those trophies so I kinda understand on why he choose to stay. Aside from that though, being rich is pretty much an alternate option for a football player as well aside from winning all those trophies
If you want to earn a lot of money of course staying at PSG is the right decision for him, but to develop his career to be better of course it is the wrong decision in my opinion, we all know that PSG is a big club but no have a competitive competition in the league 1 for so far, with Mbappe stay at doesn't that only make him career walk in place and it is certain that his career will not get recognition from world football lovers?
I personally believe that no matter how good he looks in league 1 and no matter how many goals he scores, it is difficult for him to get the best world player title if he continues to stay in a league that is not competitive at all like league 1.
Mbappe prefer choose much money and keep extended contract with PSG than to push his career and moving to Real Madrid. Have excepted if Mbappe agree move to Real Madrid and his chance with Champion League large than keep staying with PSG. Last best achievement success lead until champion league final before loaing from Bayern Munich, last season stuck on 16 round before defeating by Real Madrid. I think never have dreaming become beat player in the world if keep play on Ligue 1 because have lower rank than La Liga.

Lol the cartoon is great. I have to say, winning UCL matters of course, but when you offer someone 120 million to stay and 60 million each year he stays, thats a bit of an overkill, you gotta accept that.

I do not know what Real was ready to offer, but I am 100% sure that it wasn't even 50% of that, this is the difference we are talking about. Could they offer 30 million a year? They possibly could, but in that case they wouldn't come close to 60 million for signing bonus neither. Not like they have no money, they offered 180 million for him last year, meaning his signing bonus plus one year price would have been paid already, and they could have looked for the other season later on.

How do you think Mbappe's career sank with PSG just because he didn't want to move to Real Madrid next season? Don't you realize that Mbappe has the same opportunity as his current team to play in the Champions League next season and fight for it?

Anyways I also don't think Ligue 1 looks so bad for football fans just because PSG dominated the title in the last few seasons. Ligue 1 remains competitive but is definitely different from other leagues. Mbappe's choice to stay at PSG in my opinion is right for now because he is still very young and will be in demand by other teams who are able to pay his release clause to PSG later. Real Madrid just want to get him for free next season and as a result Mbappe will have to refuse to sign his new contract, it doesn't make sense. LOL
It is good that he stayed in Paris, since Real Madrid feels as if they can obtain every top-level player they desire. You can't expect things to work out as smoothly as you seem. He won't regret his decision, since he has the chance to compete for the Champions League with his current team next season. As you said, he's talented and young, so if he continues to perform, his demand might grow.

There is no doubt that he is a great player. I'm not in a position to judge his opinion, he's entitled to it.

36-year-old Turkish football player Burak Yılmaz's contract with Lille has expired. He is a veteran but a very experienced and goalscorer player. He still wants to stay in Europe. If he finds a suitable team, he can still give a good performance. He did a great job in his first season in Lille. I think he can be productive for his team again. He is still a valuable football player despite his advanced age. He might try his luck with maybe a year in England. He can do this if conditions are met. It may be possible to use him as a key player who comes in later in the game and scores goals. I think he is a player not to be missed. :)

I agree with you, it's better for Mbappe to stay at PSG for the next 5 years. Because then we will see clearly the significant difference from Real Madrid. For me, Madrid is lucky not to bring Mbappe there, so Madrid can grow more quality players. Obviously, Mbappe will compete with other PSG players and show who deserves to be between Messi and Neymar. Because so far the contribution of Neymar and Messi is better. To Mbappe good luck with his choice.

everyone accepted the decision made by Kylian Mbappe with his best decision to choose to stay with PSG even though he himself really wanted to join Real Madrid which has more potential to win than PSG, but with the specialties given to Mbappe in choosing players and coaches and with salary which is quite high, of course, it will also have an impact on the club considering that he is a player who is still young, of course this can have an effect on the team, especially when they play in the European Champions League with such great pressure to win the big ear title that has never been achieved by PSG.

I am not disputing the fact that Wilfred Ndidi is a good defensive midfielder fit for Ten Hag's Manchester United team. What I meant is that every manager has a system and different systems requires different type of players to fit into the plan. Ten Hag's type of midfield 3 requires a controller, a 6, and a creator. If you could remember his Ajax team when they got to the semi finals in the Uefa Champions league, the midfield 3 consisted of Frankie De Jong, Van de Beek and Schone. Frankie De Jong was the 6. He was the sitter. That is how Ten Hag wants to builds his team, around a No 6 like Frankie De Jong. That is why you could see that he wants to bring him back to Manchester united.
I assume that he is still considering the De Jong transfer though, don't know what's going to happen with that but looking at how Barcelona is in a dire financial crisis right now, offering a good amount would mean that you could definitely buy any player from them. De Jong didn't really play well enough to be irreplaceable for them neither, he was good, he was really good, but not like a superstar levels of player.
Sergio Busquets role has limited Frankie De Jong from performing at his best. Modric magic will continue until 2023. It's official that Luka Modric has extended his stay at Real Madrid for one more year. That is great, can't watch him take a few wonderful actions with the ball. This is the sort of player you generally need in your squad, one of the most mind-blowing midfielder of his generation. A true leader, without his devoting job on the road of winning UCL could never have been accomplished.

In fact, Luka Modric's contract expires at the end of June, and Modric could have moved to another team for free. But Modric showed his loyalty
by extending his contract by one year with Real Madrid. This is very good news for Real Madrid supporters, even though Modric's age is not young
anymore, but his contribution is very big for Real Madrid. Luka Modric, who was bought from Tottenham 10 years ago, has already won 20 trophies
with Real Madrid, this proves that Modric is an important player. Hopefully next season Modric can help Real Madrid win trophies again, because
Modric is famous for his expertise in providing assists for Real Madrid forwards.
