I think not any problem about how much salary need pay by Real Madrid trough Mbappe as free transfer player, Madrid have much money where transfer amount most higher than salary to pay for Mbappe. Mbappe's salary today is 22 million euros and some time ago PSG offered a contract extension with 45 million euros in salary and this was rejected by Mbappe.
Of course Real Madrid must be able to provide good service if they really want that and I think Mbappe's salary could be more than that because he is indeed one of the most successful wonderkids at the moment and indeed the salary could be commensurate with the performance he offers.

Whether it is cheap or expensive, it isn't a fixed amount. It can increase along with the progress of Mbappe performance in Real Madrid. If Real Madrid management is satisfied with his performance then, the amount of money can be increased. Anyway, it is still a rumor, I think the final amount of money got by him can be changed.
