As far as I know, Bayern Munich already stated that they were not going to go after the Erling Haaland transfer as they are more than happy about Lewandowski's current performance. Therefore, I think that this news could be just no more than rumours. Otherwise, I really don't understand what they are up to. Maybe they made a statement like that on purpose to finish the deal behind closed doors.

@bullrun2020bro I believe Bayern want to cause chaos in Dortmund camp by spreading these rumours, because there’s no way Bayern have this kind of money to pay for Halland. Lastly it’s being reported that only Manchester United have so far registered any real interest in Halland, and we all know they have the money for this kind of deal.

But reportedly now lewandowski has stated that he will look for new adventures at other clubs and he continues to be linked with manchester city and also real madrid, besides that bayern münchen have also confirmed the price of lewandowski if a club wants to buy him for 100 million euros, i think haalaand will Be a good alternative for Bayern Munich if indeed Lewandowski moves to another club later, besides that Dortmund, which has often sold star players, will certainly not hesitate to release Haaland if a big-money offer comes to them.

as far as I understood, the problem with the next Haaland transfer is on outrageously high commission of his (Raiola) agent. I read somewhere that is around 50mil euro, it is unlikely that Bayern will agree to such a thing. also with his high salary violate their philosophy of not overpaying players.
Bayern lost a moment to buy them cheap before Dortmund, now is too late for that deal.
PSG, Real, Man. United and Man. City are its possible destinations.

Well - it is clear that Lewandovski is currently among the best players in the world. He's a proven world-class player that fits perfectly in this Bayern team and that team is set up in a way in which him and Haaland cannot play together at the same time.

However - buying Haaland now means buying a star player that has the potential to be world class for the next 10 years or so. A smart move would be looking at this from a long-term perspective - and Bayern will be doing that if they have any chance of getting Haaland.

Financially though - I don't think they will be able to match the PL clubs.

You will understand that they want to build a bond, a team starting with these young lads. Forget seeing Haaland at Barcelona.
He has already said that he wants to play in the next Champions League, so he will only close with Barcelona if the club manages to qualify for it in 2022/23, and at that moment that seems to be a very distant goal for Barcelona.
That's just the first requirement, then there's the trade agreement, which is another problem for Barcelona.

Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Barcelona have so far been linked with Haaland.
