I didn’t vote on the poll because I think Sarri might get sacked before the season ends & that option isn’t there.

If he wins the League Cup this weekend then that’s a good start to keeping his job although I think he’ll be judged on if he gets Chelsea into the top 4 regardless of cup success (unless they win the EL as that’s a path to CL qualification too).

Fox Sports has reported that there is a potential swap deal involving Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku and Inter's Mauro Icardi and Juventus' Dybala. It is rumored that Machester is looking to swap them between either two Serie A stars which in my opinion is far from happening. The drop on Lukaku's value is way more significant compared to how important those two players are for their team. If they are looking for a real swap deal to happen they might need to start looking for another player.

Former French international Lassana Diarra has just announced his retirement, effective immediately.
He used to play for Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid, his career has been mostly ups and downs.
He rescinded his contract with PSG.

Slava Ukraini!
I honestly don't think he'll get sacked unless there are things we don't know about that are happening in the locker room.
He's doing the best he can with the players he's got. Kante and Hazard are world class players sure, but the rest of the team is not that great.
Huge losses to Bournemouth, Man City and now against MU is a big hit. We all know how much patience with managers Abramovich have. If something goes wrong - manager is responsible for it. If Chelsea will continue playing like now, I wouldn't be surprised if Sarri will be sacked before end of the season or in summer.

Some rumors swirling that Chelsea wants Zidane to replace Sarri at the end of the season.  But Zidane wants 200m GBP for transfers and Hazard be given a new contract.  Rofl.  I guess that's his way of saying that it's a no then?  Grin
That 200 Million transfer budget is achievable not by their starting budget but through selling players. Although Chelsea is known to be a big spender they haven't gone far to have a starting budget that big, but if he means offloading existing players then he can get what he wants to spend in the transfer window. Selling 4 or 5 players he see unfit for the team might give him the wiggle room he is looking for, now it will be up to him and the owners on who those players will be, this move might also anger the fans but if they sign the players they want to I know that he will be changing their minds about it.

But that 200m GBP could also help any decent manager assemble a good squad.  And getting Hazard to stay for another 5 years at Chelsea...?  No need for Zidane.  Sarriball could handle it imho.

I don't think Sarri will get sacked after just this season, If Chelsea should eventually qualify for the Champions league next season, I think Sarri will get to start the upcoming season as Chelsea's Manager, He could however get sacked early if expectations aren't met after the first matches of the season.

Sarri is showing inconsistency in the last matches. I think that he can't offer anything more to the team, one defeat comes after the other and no good football is played from the squad. In my opinion, the best solution is to sack Sarri before it is too late. There are high chances now that Chelsea will not make it join Europa League in the next season.

Still, some bookies have Zidane as the favorite at 1.62 - 1.75 to replace Sarri.

Anyway, vote at the poll above:  Will Sarri be given the sack this summer?

Wow.  Mou's agent is good.  Lololol.  Can't wait which club he'll manage next.  If it's Real or some big club, wow.

Anyway Juve want Salah from LFC.  Offer:  44m GBP and Dybala.  I'd say take it if Dybala's healthy and if they have a potential target to replace Salah.

Apparently, sacking Mourinho and his staff will cost MU 22 million Euros.

"ManUtd pay-off for Mourinho and staff was £19.6million, half-yearly results reveal"

That's somewhat a huge amount of money to pay-off someone with, but since that's only the price at which parity could be restored between the squad and club at large, then I think the fee is justified.

Monaco's vice president Vadim Vasyliev is gonna leave the club
He was really the one in charge (even though Rybolovlev is the one bringing the money).
I don't know why but it doesn't look good for Monaco. I wouldn't be surprised if Rybolovlev left the club too after making a few millions (and a few contacts in Monaco).

Monaco had an amazing performance but after Mbappe left the team to seem weak again. Rybolovlev spends a lot of money to bring the club at the top but this seems impossible. I wouldn't be surprised if I see him leaving the club. He has spent too much money and he has got very little in return for his investment.

Newest reports from Italy seem to indicate that Mauro Icardi of Inter was stripped of his captaincy armband because he has reached a verbal agreement with Juventus! He does have a clause in his contract but it is only valid for foreign clubs from what I have read. Anyone know more about the Icardi to Juventus story?

Mauro Icardi has a €110 Million release clause in his contract but he might leave for even less. Interested clubs are now aware of the bad relationship he has with the club and that Inter is likely to sell him in the summer. My guess is that they will try to purchase him below his market value.

Liverpool are rumoured to be looking for a top CF, Icardi & Werner from Leipzig have been mentioned.

That clause is too much and as he is not playing in the Champions League I don't think that he will join a rich club.
My guess is that if Sarri will stay at Chelsea he will probably make some move to join Icardi. Gonzalo Higuain is good but he is kinda old to play competitive football.
