^^ SO many newspapers are writing about Haaland so I think it is true that he joins Juventus.
Now the question rises what is going to happen with Dybala. He is on a great season but he plays on a similar position with Haaland. Does the arrival of Haaland mean that it is time for Dybala to move?
Juventus???  I guess that will be a big miss for him if he joins juventus,  he needs to join a team that plays attacking football, just take a good look at Cristiano Ronaldo,  it's been a while he scored an hat trick, I'm pretty sure if he is still in Madrid he would have scored more goals than he had in juventus currently,  Haaland needs a good attacking club

And according to UK press, Haaland is a deal almost done for Manchester Cheesy
I think he'll fit a lot better in Man Utd. Ole is keen on using the youngsters in the first team so Haaland might actually have a shot in making it into the starting XI, while in Juventus they have CR7 and Higuain, so Haaland will most likely be the 2nd or 3rd option, and that's not good for a 19yo who needs lots of minutes on the pitch to develop.

But nevertheless, i'm still surprised that so many top teams are interested in this kid, just because of a couple of games  Shocked

In other news:

• Arsenal are keen on Moussa Dembele (Lyon) [1]
• Arturo Vidal (Barcelona FC) very close to signing with Inter.[2]

But seems very close to Juventus!

The price should be 30M €.

Sarri will be judged on his results in Serie A & the CL. The domestic cups probably rank quite lowly to Juve owner.

Will we see, I still believe that Sarri was only a  stop-gap after the failure to get Guardiola after the UEFA indifference to call a sentence for the illegal activities of Manchester City.

I think if Guardiola comes they can sack Sarri in 24 hours whatever his results will be.

(Fun stats, the last 2 times Juventus Lost the Supercup went on Final of UCL)

Juventus lost the Supercup and if in the end, he will lose the Seria A the Sarri carrier in Turin can be short.

This is what I'm earing around the web, journalists, and people near Juventus.
It was a very huge mistake appointing Sarri to that very position when they could have waited a few months and gotten back Conte because Sarri tactics don't seem to be working whatsoever for Juventus at all.

^  And Liverpool acquired him for just 7m GBP.  I haven't seen him play but they say he plays well as an AM and a little further back as a no. 8 (his most likely position under Klopp).

I was at the first group game against them at Anfield, he was really good. He scored one & assisted one. He was really good on the ball in tight spaces. Looks like a good player but no transfer is guaranteed to be a success.

Looks like we have another 'done deal' just a week before the Transfer Window is open (first done deal was the japanese CB to Liverpool):

Cavani to Atletico Madrid
source 1 https://twitter.com/dimarzio/status/1209022281948770304
source 2 https://www.marca.com/en/football/spanish-football/2019/12/23/5e00b17f22601d6c298b4581.html

This signing was long overdue, I feel like he's been rumored to join Atletico for the past 4 or 5 years. Not sure if it's a good signing though, it's been a while since i've heard he had a good game with PSG (a few injuries and losing a spot in the starting XI didn't help).

In other news, Ndidi to Arsenal? https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenal-target-wilfred-ndidi-transfer-21150151  That would be a great signing for the gunners.

If they manage to win the CL then I think he’ll keep his job Wink
I know what you mean though, Juve bosses do not accept failure, standards are high.

^  That won't he wise if they're really gunning for Pep imho...  Unless the Juve board are convinced they can lure him at Turin at summer 2020 (which I think they can't.  Pep will finish his contract and leave on 2021).

Almost deal done for Mandzukic sold for a team on Qatar, he rejected teams as Manchester United, Dortmund and many more and now he is going there.
Yeah i saw that news earlier today in croatian media. I really hoped that he will sign his last contract with some team from EPL or at least Dortmund, but well, i guess he chose money over quality of football.
But i can't really blame him, he had good career, won many trophies and now when he retired from national team he can go somewhere where he will make some extra $$.

Personally, I have to admit that I am very disappointed with this outcome.
I have been following Mandjukic for a long time and he has always been a fighter and never gave up in his career.
And now, instead of going to Dortmund or Manchester and playing in a big club, he chose early retirement in an exotic country.
I don't understand what happened to him, this is not the Mandjukic I know.
Perhaps the last six months in Juventus and the boycott and isolation he has undergone have influenced him in a negative way.
Probably we will never know.

He is joining the Benatia's Team for probably a lot of money.

that is just normal. an idealism to play football for the sake of satisfaction is over for a player like mandzukic -33 years old- what other reason to not play football for the sake of money? it always about money especially in mandzukic situation.

to get an achievement? his career almost offer and there is a good offer.

nothing wrong with this kind transfer, he get the job and earn a lot of money then what? the judgement like this should only thrown to a young player that still has a lot of potential to grow and achieve a lot of things in the competitive league , not to a player like mandzukic, it is a fair one.
earned a lot of money , create a business from it and having a good life.

Arsenal has just signed an agreement with M.Arteta. What do you think about it? Is he capable for Arsenal?

Quote
ARSENAL have agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal for Mikel Arteta to take over as the new manager, according to reports.

I am still wondering why up to now Arsenal decided to go Arteta. I feel he won't bring any much change at the Emirates. Perhaps it's the stingy nature of the bosses to opt for cheaper options knowing that if they attempt to go for a top manager, they will have to splash cash for new signings which they have always been reluctant to do.

My guess is they didn't want to make a bigger manager deal in the middle of the season. Actually, if we reconsider, that could be the right decision. Brought in larger sums, a better manager would bring financial burden if he failed at year's end.

^  Prolly just following the trend of hiring untested coaches that started with Pep at Barca then Zidane at Real, Solksjaer at United and Lampard at Chelski.
