looks like the campaign on the glazers of Man United are paying off. United have just signed Wan Bissaka and they say more signings to come as for United have struggled to sign their primary targets and had to get the cheaper second options after woodward complaining about the main targets hig fees demands and we have seen that especially under Mourinho.

Some rumors on Bonucci, he could leave Juventus again after only one year.

Destination? Psg for a lot of money (I hope around 40m €).
this means that Juventus have to look for more players in the central defender because there will be some players in that position who will move from Juventus.

Rumors if he really goes to PSG are for a comeback for Benatia or Demiral.

Not much happened really so far but I expect big transfers to start happening in the next 3-4 weeks.
Lots of top players are still at Copa America so they can’t deal with club transfers now, they’re fully occupied on the Copa. Sometimes all it takes is one big move & it sets off a chain reaction.
Will be interesting, let’s see.

The transfer window is really boring so far.
I expected that European clubs will sign European players fast in order to reserve them.
Let's hope that after Copa America teams will be more active. I hope to see Messi winning Copa America with Argentina and getting transferred to PSG!

I guess big deals take a lot of negotiating, you’ve got the buying club & the selling club, agents & the player. Everybody is trying to get what’s best for them, they all want the best deal possible. It takes a while until everybody is happy.

Some reasons why there has not been a big transfer, maybe as you say many players who are competing in Copa America and for negotiating top players it really takes a long time. But in the long run this really has not been a big transfer and surprised many people. At least the hazard that surprised me to Real Madrid.

Really? you got surprised with Hazard's Transfer?
It was already known 2 months before signing to Real. Also Sarri's leave was known already. Nothing really interesting so far. Every signing was scheduled and predictable.

Yup...  Nothing really that interesting atm.  You following Newcastle United's possible sale to the Sheikh Mansour's (City owner) cousin?  It's gonna shake the top 6 if the sale happens imho.

Newcastle to finish at top 6 is at 15 at FJ sports right now.  Grin

Juventus out Spinazzola

Juventus in Pellegrini +10m €.

Spinazzola was the one for replacing Cancelo, maybe Cancelo will stay?
No not really. Cancelo is a right back, Spinazzola is a left back, he is right footed but his primary position is on the left wing.
Juve is likely to lose both Cancelo and Spinazzola in this transfer window. Both players are fast going forward and they leave a lot of space in defence for the opposition. Seems that Juve considers that too big of a problem and are looking to have primarily defenders in those positions.

I am not sure if that is the right way. I prefer Cancelo over De Sciglio or the mentioned Danilo or Trippier as possible replacements and Spinazzola over Alex Sandro. Cancelo was very influential with his crosses this season, several important assists from his crosses from the right, especially for Ronaldo. Spinazzola likes to go 1-on-1 and is dangerous with both feet.
Alex Sandro and De Sciglio are useless in attack and none of them can cross the ball properly.

I think Spinazzola is a pretty good player in his position but he chose to leave Juventus maybe because he wanted more minutes to play. many clubs are interested in Cancelo but I think he will stay at Juventus.

On the other note, Barcelona is set to sign their biggest signing of this summer on July 1st. Among all potential signings, Griezmann name looks most probable and it is anticipated that Barca will sign him for €120M on 1st July.
I think Neymar could be their biggest signing, they're willing to pay more than 200M for him. Regardless, Messi, Suarez, Neymar, Griezmann...Valeverde can't play all of them, who do you guys think will be benched?

There is no space for 2 elephants in the room. Buying both Neymar and Griezmann is surely the waste of money. I still think Barca will buy only one of them and Griezmann has higher chance of getting picked. They can get Griezmann for nearly half the price of Neymar and still maintain their standard.
You are also forgetting another name, yes, Dembele! If only Griezmann comes then Barca ain't gonna sell Dembele. So Barca front three would be from Messi, Griezmann, Dembele and Suarez.
Now among these 4, Griezmann and Messi would be regular starters. The position of Griezmann will depend upon the selection between Suarez and Dembele. A fit Dembele is perfect choice to start from left wing and Griezmann can play as CF.
You spoke what is on my mind mate,
Neymar or Griezmann sign will almost be close to useless unless if maybe Suárez left Barca. If one of the two is signed right now. Then one of the great talents is going to rot on bench.

Secondly Neymar is so injury prone. I wonder why they spend such amounts on a player like him... Maybe for marketing purposes but his price tag doesn't not match his pitch value.
His fitness and attitude and the big difference between Him and Messi/Ronaldo.

Whereas if Dembele remains injured like he was at most of the times last season then Suarez would most probably start as CF and Griezmann on the left wing.

There is another very interesting aspect in Barca team. Everyone knows Suarez isn't at his best from last 1-2 years. He is almost done. However, Suarez himself believes so? I guess not! He still takes pride in his game and demands regular start. So if Barca bench him for most of the times in first half of the season, I won't be surprised to see him leaving Blaugrana in winter transfer for some other club.

Maybe Messi?  Cheesy
I think Suarez is on ice. He has poor season behind if we know his standards. I would not be surprised if Barca sells it. Also, I don't think that Barca can buy both, Neymar and Griezmann. Both are so expensive with high monthly costs, he already buys De Jong. Most real exchange Coutinho for Neymar plus money.

Talking about spanish teams, let's talk about Real Madrid. Isco has been linked to Man City (please Pep, take him), Kovacic to Chelsea is almost done deal (45M), Odegaard will go to Real Sociedad on loan, and Theo Hernandez to AC Milan on loan. Arsenal seems to be interested in Dani Ceballos, they want a permanent deal but Real will only accept a loan.

Finally, Van de Beek (Ajax) seems to be on RM's radar...wtf? How did we go from Pogba and Eriksen to this kid? We already have enough "young promising talents" (Rodrygo, Vinicius, Mendy, Brahim, etc), what we need are well established players  Angry

So this week was dominated by goalkeepers. Cillessen leaving Barcelona for Valencia whereas Neto leaving Valencia for Barcelona. From the Italian land, rumors surging that Buffon returning to Juventus. It's really fun to see how different players have different priorities:
1. Cillessen who is experienced keeper and already won many trophies wants to play more and therefore moved to relatively smaller club.
2. Neto who is young player moved to Barcelona to play as second keeper because he wants to increase his trophies count. Last year he played 34 La Liga matches, god know how many will he play this year if Stegen remains fit.
3. Buffon who has nothing to proof, already won everything wants to end his career at his home hence moving back to Juventus.

PSG does need some backup players but... this is not their priority at all ! They've been looking for a 6 ever since Thiago Motta left the club, they still don't have him. They also need a LB, maybe a GK and a RB.
What do they expect signing guys like Jese, Kehrer, Bernat, Sarabia, Paredes, Guedes, Lo Celso... ? Those are decent players but what Paris needs first is a good, balanced starting 11. Instead of spending 20/30 millions here and there, they should first focus on signing a starter for the positions that are really needed.
