Hopefully he can tighten up the defence because that’s Liverpool’s only problem at the moment. Scoring goals is not a problem, conceding too many is though.

I think we need to replace Mignolet in the summer too though.

A single player is not enough to solve the whole conundrum that Liverpool are facing at the back and Van Dijk is not really a world class defender for Liverpool to splash that amount of money for and where Klopp was complaining when Manchester United paid 89M Pounds for Pogba, hypocrisy at its best.

I am very happy with this purchase. Honestly I hate to see the Liverpool defense who often make blunders. Van Dijk price may be too high, but I like this purchase because at least Klopp did the movement to improve the Liverpool defense. Finally Klopp aware of what is actually needed by the team.

It was just yesterday I was reading about the inflated price's in football transfer and then this happens, I really can't believe it, and have to agree with Jose statement, defender's are being brought at striker's price's. Meanwhile there're news circulating that. Manchester United have pulled out of Griezmann race. Mikitayan looks all set to leave. Jose wants Kane, Ali, Bale at Manchester United I don't think he really knows transfer now.

Heh. Sevilla is a huge downgrade for Luis Enrique after managing Barca. It would be better for him to move else where, like the EPL or the Bundesliga. He could be a good fit with Arsenal, tho I think the club is preparing for Tuchel's appointment this summer.

Another good club for him in the EPL would be Chelsea. Conte could be facing the sack after this season.

An analysis of Van dijk's transfer to Juventus :

The defender contacted the Juventus managers and showed the player to Juventus. But, expressed their admiration for the idea in principle, but there are some major obstacles to the deal:
-First, its market value is too high about 60 million euros. knowing that liverpool is prepared to pay this amount.
-Second, Juventus are preparing for Caldera's arrival next summer. While, the coach Allegri is very impressed with him and even the club management.
-Third, Van Dyck will lead to one exit from Rogani, Caldera or Hovidis in the case of Juventus. Juventus does not want to give up Rugjani for Van even if there were great offers for the young Italian.

^ Yeah he was dubbed the 'next Drogba' and Chelsea acquired him when he was a teenager years ago when Andre Villas Boas was managing the club. But he didn't perform as expected during training making him being overlooked and unable to join the first team.

A lot of people criticized Villas Boas for it. But seeing Lukaku play over the years... Now we know why he wasn't selected. He's overrated.

Van djik would be a quality sign for Barcelona, but he'll be a sub, will he be ok with that? there are many clubs interested in him like Liverpool or Man City, and the chances that he's in the starting XI in those clubs are higher than in Barcelona.

I don't think Fekir will go to Barcelona, at least not in January, right when Dembele is coming back from the injury. Fakir is having a really good season with Lyon, and I don't think he'd want to be a sub player right before the World Cup next year.

And Coutinho will go to Barcelona next summer. I'm 100% sure. If he goes to spain in january, he won't be able to play in the Champions League, and having a quality player like him not playing in the CL isn't exactly the best of decisions.

I think Felippe Coutinho could still be a good buy for barcelona if they decide to get him because his style is quite like that of the catalan club. Maybe Barcelona is playing for them to lower the price by feigning a lack of interest but in the end we will all see what might happen

Liverpool are likely to sell Felippe Coutinho and so they will have something in their coffers to buy Van Dijk if they so wish, i think he's a brilliant chap at the defense and it a real rock and should they secure him and with M. Salah's stunning performances i think Liverpool will be tough again.
