Napoli management will most likely not get a profit of up to 100 million from the Osimhen transfer saga, if the clubs interested in him see Osimhen performance last season. We remember that Oismhen failed to find his best game due to injury, which had an impact on his overall goal productivity. Indeed, this is not a benchmark, but I think Osimhen performance inconsistency could affect his market price. Meanwhile, PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man United have often been rumored to want to recruit Osimhen, of these clubs, it seems that only PSG has shown serious interest.

Chelsea backout because of his wages and they would not be trying to sign Osimhen again unless a new ownership comes to the club because this current ownership do not want to spend money signing players that are not very young and they can not build the team around them. As for the price, Osimhen should not cost over $100 million anymore because he is not as good as he was last two seasons. He could not score at the concluded AFCON tournament either and had a poor tournament and he is not very active at Napoli too. He had some injuries but his presence is still not being felt as it was when Napoli won the league. PSG will be a good location for him to continue playing if he wants to remind in Europe but if he wants to leave, Saudi Arabia will be a good location because of his wages.

Ronaldo case is somewhat  different from that of modric, Ronaldo was actually after perfection, to proof people wrong since they've been doing some bantering and calling him some sort of names(definitelymessi fans)... Losing a penalty doesn't have anything to do with experience, Messi have also lose penalties....no one is above mistakes and I'm sure that's not his first but in his current stage he's actually  feeling overwhelmed by the social media bully and sure the mistake did cost him alot  Smiley
Coming back to modric, I still feel he makes some great impact in big games as an experience player IMO

Real Madrid have great players in the past years and the current one. The president of the club, Florentino Pérez have done his best to ensure things work fined for the club. He made best signings for the club, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric are two different players in the same club, they've played together for years and totally contributed in every season for the club. However Ronaldo exited Santiago Bernabéu because he was tasty to pick more challenges for himself which he quite made the long ranging accomplishment.

I don't think there is anything unique about experience in a game, he isn't the only legend Real Madrid has ever produced and they all have retired in peace, they have found something better off football that fetch them money but as for Modric, I think he wanted to stay by all means and Perez gave him a chance by signing a year contract and they maybe doing that probably they don't have the best man yet for his replacement, somebody young and talented.

If experience help players, I'm not sure Ronaldo would lose that penalty that in their Knockout stage for Portugal, he weep his eyes all through he match and was pet by his team mate not to cry, this is happening because Ronaldo is old, he can't be like his prime anymore, anything his doing now is just struggle to fit into a place where he is not supposed to be for that time. I hope Modric don't disappoint the team like that too in the end.

Penalties have nothing to do with skills or anything other than luck. There is a bit of experience, feeling, just like gambling, even big players lose money!
For Cristiano Ronaldo I find his way to apologise from Portugal fans as the trigger that made media more interested in talking about it, otherwise it is just a normal thing like Messi, Benzema and basically every player that missed a clear goal or a penalty. It happens!

I think Luka Modric is already a legend in the Real Madrid team
and looking out the sacrifices he has made and his commitment in the progress of the team, it shows a lot of respect, love and loyalty he has for Real Madrid team and I'm so happy that he has been offered yet another year contract hopefully he's going to retire in the Madrid team instead of going to Saudi Arabia to play for money as some will say.

I don't think Luka Modric cares about he's playing time any longer in the Real Madrid team all he's up to right now is to give his best to help the team win games and win more trophies so I think it an honor to see him play along side the young stars whom will emulate a lot of qualities from him, can't wait to see him play next season a long side Mbappe.

Modric is already old because 38 years is almost close to a retirement age so ending his football career in Real Madrid will be an honor for the Croatian international footballer. He has really made positive effort for Real Madrid during his stay and for the fact that the club have offered him another year is a very good one even though speculations where tipping him on joining the Saudi league, going to the Saudi league would have indeed earn him good cash but football is not really all about the money but your commitment to the team you are playing for is very important. Real Madrid already loves Modric that's why his contract was extended so it will be lovely watching Modric play with Kylian Mbappe next season. Madrid have just got so many best players and am wondering if any team can be able to win them next season.
Modric has no where to go again many player in his age range already retired but I think Realmadrid still needs him as an experience player so I think he's probably gonna complete his entire career in Realmadrid, he's a absolute legend.
I don't think it's about him playing with kylian Mbappe,I think they just found potential in him when it comes to big games so they would use anything to keep him from retirement.... until he's completely due for it
Even after his 1 year contract currently in Madrid, we will still get to see clubs willing to have him likely the Saudi league. Modric is a great player even when he would turn 40 I believe he can still make a good game on the pitch. Can't wait to see him deliver those passes to Mbappe, it will be a lot fun to watch how Madrid will conquer clubs with ease following the combo between the long passes from Modric and an excellent finish from Mbappe. I know Modric won't be played whole 90mins, Valverde should use this time to master the work of art by Modric so he can do better in his absence.

On the other hand, we know that last season Osimhen signed a new contract extension with Napoli, so his release terms have also changed. It is reported that De Laurentiis has met with the President of PSG to discuss the possibility of a transfer, but so far there has been no official news from Napoli or PSG. If Osimhen chooses to stay another season, honestly that is also the right decision. However, it seems De Laurentiis wants to cash in on Osimhen in this summer's transfer window, and use the profits from the sale to build the squad depth that Conte wants.
It was a step that was definitely prepared because after all Napoli clearly did not want to lose its valuable assets especially with Osimhen who had a very good performance last season even though this season experienced a setback in terms of performance but it still would not shake the value that Osimhen had.

At the moment Napoli actually only have to wait for what steps are taken by several big clubs interested in Osimhen because after all Napoli are now not pressed besides that, they can also still use Osimhen's services and hope that his performance will return the same as last season in the Conte Era so that the choices are only 2, namely those who do release Osimhen at a high price as the first option and if that doesn't work then they will hope Conte can turn Osimhen back into a scary striker next season.
Their advantage of extending Osimhen's contract last season had a big impact and it was a very good strategy from Napoli.

Not to bad, to me football has no sense in the Olympics.
It can't be considered a "fair" competition when a nation can't bring the best of the best but only young players and 3 over age of 21yo.

France will be probably the favorite anyway since they have a big selection of young stars.

That is why these “important” games are not broadcast anywhere and we learn about the results of the tournament from the news. But I would draw attention to one more aspect: clubs that invest hundreds of millions in players receive nothing from the fact that their players participate in such garbage tournaments and risk injury. The French national team really wanted Mbappe to take part in the Olympics (after the European Championship lol) and Macron himself lobbied for this issue. Thank God Real is adamant on this issue and Mbappe will still have a few days off before the next season  Grin

Napoli will not hold back because he's having one of the smooth running season for the club but he needs more challenges to build up and improve in all rounds. Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis will continue making plans for improvement and we should be aware concerning the featuring space of the club.

Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen have brilliant stats and we should know how encouraging the striker have been, he should take a bold step and make a move to the EPL side because that have always been his dreams. Whereas staying in the club and extending his contract does seem to be a good decision but alot of things ought to fall in place for the Nigeria international.

Who would have thought that Riccardo Calafiori would become a hot topic for the big European teams and now Arsenal is also hunting for him. Mikel Arteta has approved the club's plan to recruit him and maybe this transfer will go well considering Arsenal has a good relationship with Bologna. Riccardo Calafiori is priced at 50 million euros and it looks like Arsenal can still negotiate that fee down a little.

On the other hand, Chelsea are reportedly also interested in him and they are offering to add additional players to Bologna as a transfer agreement for Riccardo Calafiori. This Bologna central defender seems quite interesting because previously Liverpool and Real Madrid were also interested in him and let's see which of these teams will manage to get him.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1808500516936167440
I saw a report from Fabrizio Romano that Arsenal are pushing hard to sign. Riccardo Calafiori, and I also see that Chelsea is interested in signing him to strengthen their defense.
Arsenal is looking for backup for their left back and right back position, they also want to provide some rest for William Saliba and Gebriel Mangalas which is why they are trying to sign him so that one of these defenders can be having some rest because Saliba played almost all matches last season, so if Arteta did not sign a replacement, Arsenal will suffer if Saliba went injured.

Chelsea on the other also need a defender following Tiago Silva’s retirement from football, if they can get Calafiori, they will be free from defensive threat and they can confidently avoid conceding much goals.

Arsenal is trying to avoid anything that can stop their title ambition next season, that is why they are trying to cover every lapses they had in the previous season.

That is exactly what he is trying to do but he can’t get so much money from his sell because Osimhen’s performance last season was not that impressive that clubs will want to buy him for that high price. The whole club were in face playing below average and didn’t do anything better than what they did last season. If he’s waiting for his sell in order to recruit new players, then he’ll have to wait longer and maybe have a plan B to execute that plan because I don’t see that close to happening as it is now. Osimhen is damn clear that Napoli does not needs his service anymore in the club, so he should also be searching for other clubs that will want him to join them from next season because that’s where he’ll be cherished more rather than staying back in the club that he’s not much valued like he use to before and the new coach not showing interest in using him for the next season.

Last season, Luka Modric refused to move to Saudi side Al Hilal, who offered him €200 million for three years, mainly because of his family. I think he compared the cultural and social environment conditions of Saudi Arabia to comfort, tranquility and serenity his family enjoys in Spain. Some players are not motivated by money and Luka is one of them. He prefers to enjoy his game and make sure his family is comfortable. So I am not surprised if he turns down another offer just because Real Madrid gave him a one-year deal.

Carlo Ancelotti, the Real Madrid coach, once said that he needed Luka to be a mentor to the young midfielders at the club. He might not be too concerned about playing time, but he wants to support younger players both technically, physically, and mentally.  I will not be surprised if he is given a backroom job after his contract expires next year.
Luka Modrić is surely one of the legendary player at the Real Madrid and Croatia as well who is doing amazing job throughout his career, and surely he deserves this extension and mentor role at the Real Madrid for the future with his rejection of luxury offer from the Al Hilal is understandable because we have too many players those never love to go in these conditions where life is having too many problems even they are offering huge amount of money.

If he is going to stay here and having some time with Mbappé this is also going to be amazing for the fans with things could be at his top but if he is going to start his career as mentor then surely this could be also good because he is well experienced and having enough to share with youngster which are going to have his career at this legendary club for the years.

If Osimhen really likes competition, why last season did he reject many offers from European clubs? especially Chelsea but Osimhen chose to stay. Now like it or not imo the most sensible option is to take PSG offer, staying at Napoli doesn't guarantee that you will get enough playing time. What is clear is that Osimhen needs to get out of his comfort zone and challenge himself to prove that the price tag above 100 million Euros is worth it. PSG is the only club that is ready to provide guarantees for the main squad, at least PSG will return to the UCL in a different format.
To be fair to him, he was still under contract and as long as the team doesn't want to sell the player there is not much that he can do. He could have forced his club to sell him, and would say he will not play in the games unless he is sold, but that would not be easy and it could have caused further problem for his career. So maybe he did wanted to leave, and we just did not know about it, he may have done all he could without making a big scene, but if the team didn't want to, then what could he have done about it?

Napoli wanted 100+ million for him, and to be fair that was always way too much, who would pay that much money for a player who had one great season? The reality is that he worths somewhere around 60-70 million range if you ask me, nothing more than that would be realistic and he would be staying at the club. The real question will start when his contract is nearing the end, if he wants to really leave, he won't resign and will go to another team.
Napoli management will most likely not get a profit of up to 100 million from the Osimhen transfer saga, if the clubs interested in him see Osimhen performance last season. I believe Napoli is not ready to sell Oshimen, which is why his price is so high, making some clubs feel discouraged. Osimhen is one of the best players in the clubs, and in international clubs, everyone likes him because he is a very talented player who can score goals and is stronger. Only expensive clubs like Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and PSG, I believe, can afford to buy Osimhen in the eruopa league competition. Osimhen's price may be reduced to attract interest from other clubs in the competitive. As a young player he has potential to win titles and rewards. I am even hoping Osimhen to leave the club and move to a Premier League, a competitive league where many clubs will know about him very well and win titles and rewards because he is still young player that have more chances to play and win things.

I believe PSG will not like players like Osimhen because they need a striker who can be good and fast, and Osimhen is a slow killer who is not performing as well as Mbappe. I have heard rumors that Rashford is on his way to PSG since that is a player PSG would like to have in the team. Not like Osimhen is merely Manchester City, Osimhen will fix since their playing style is similar to Napoli's, they do not rush the ball and prefer possession.

In fact, I just found out that PSG have made an offer to Napoli for Osimhen. The reason is, from several newspapers I read, PSG is more interested in Osimhen's colleague, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. So, I doubt these rumors. However, it is possible that PSG will submit a proposal to Nopoli for Osimhen. The reason is, finding an established and productive striker is currently quite difficult. In fact, Nopoli is willing to release Osimhen in this transfer market, it's just that the club that wants him must be willing to pay with the release clause for this Nigerian international player.
Referring to what you said, it seems that we have slightly different views. In fact, Paris Saint-Germain needs a pure striker like Osimhen. The reason is, they have wingers they can rely on. so, Osimhen is the ideal option for Paris Saint-Germain.

Unfortunately, it is reported that Osimhen is more interested in the Premier League. Some of the teams that have been linked are Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United. but as far as I have read, only Arsenal are often reported to be linked to Osimhen. Arsenal reportedly decided to cancel plans to bring in Osimhen from Napoli, because the transfer value that Arsenal had to spend was very large. As a result, it is rumored that Arteta now prefers Victor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon. Likewise, from Transfermarkt, only Arsenal are linked with Osinhen apart from the Saudi club. By the way, if Napoli insist on releasing Osimhen with his clause. It seems like no club is really willing to sign him in this season's transfer window.

Looks like Thierry Henry announced that Juvenuts prohibited to Thuram to participate in the summer olymphic games.
It is a good call and usually done by team, Real Madrid did the same with Mbappè 1 month ago.

I see that Riccardo Calafiori is a highly potential player, he's only 22 years old, bringing Bologna to qualify for Champions League and he's playing for Italy senior team. He deserved to play in big team, moving to Arsenal is a good idea, they always play with 4-4-2 strategy. Since he's a center back player, he has a higher chance to play without need to wait the main center back injured.

I haven’t seen him play in Italy. Watching him at the Euros is the first time and I like what I see. There is lots of talk about him going to Arsenal but they have Gabriel and Saliba at central defence which was the best partnership in the PL last season.

Maybe if he goes to Arsenal he could play on the left of a three man defence.
Juventus are still lurking and Chelsea seem interested. I hope he goes to Juve so he doesn’t strengthen another PL team.

Chelsea has finally complete a deal with Leicester City in the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for £30million. Seems Chelsea new manager is really taking the transfer window initiative very serious with the number of completed signings the club has completed lately with rumours of others under the tunnel.

For the record this is one fabulous signing for Chelsea so far, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is an outstanding left footed midfielder with admirable performance in the previous season at Leicester scoring 12 goals with 14 assists.  A one time Europa Conference League team player of the  2021/22 season, and with the Blues participating in the conference league next season it makes him a more perfect signing for the blues.
