Chelsea backout because of his wages and they would not be trying to sign Osimhen again unless a new ownership comes to the club because this current ownership do not want to spend money signing players that are not very young and they can not build the team around them. As for the price, Osimhen should not cost over $100 million anymore because he is not as good as he was last two seasons. He could not score at the concluded AFCON tournament either and had a poor tournament and he is not very active at Napoli too. He had some injuries but his presence is still not being felt as it was when Napoli won the league. PSG will be a good location for him to continue playing if he wants to remind in Europe but if he wants to leave, Saudi Arabia will be a good location because of his wages.

Coming back to modric, I still feel he makes some great impact in big games as an experience player IMO

I don't think there is anything unique about experience in a game, he isn't the only legend Real Madrid has ever produced and they all have retired in peace, they have found something better off football that fetch them money but as for Modric, I think he wanted to stay by all means and Perez gave him a chance by signing a year contract and they maybe doing that probably they don't have the best man yet for his replacement, somebody young and talented.

If experience help players, I'm not sure Ronaldo would lose that penalty that in their Knockout stage for Portugal, he weep his eyes all through he match and was pet by his team mate not to cry, this is happening because Ronaldo is old, he can't be like his prime anymore, anything his doing now is just struggle to fit into a place where he is not supposed to be for that time. I saw a report from Fabrizio Romano that Arsenal are pushing hard to sign. Riccardo Calafiori, and I also see that Chelsea is interested in signing him to strengthen their defense.
Arsenal is looking for backup for their left back and right back position, they also want to provide some rest for William Saliba and Gebriel Mangalas which is why they are trying to sign him so that one of these defenders can be having some rest because Saliba played almost all matches last season, so if Arteta did not sign a replacement, Arsenal will suffer if Saliba went injured.

Chelsea on the other also need a defender following Tiago Silva’s retirement from football, if they can get Calafiori, they will be free from defensive threat and they can confidently avoid conceding much goals.

Arsenal is trying to avoid anything that can stop their title ambition next season, that is why they are trying to cover every lapses they had in the previous season.

Modric has no where to go again many player in his age range already retired but I think Realmadrid still needs him as an experience player so I think he's probably gonna complete his entire career in Realmadrid, he's a absolute legend.
I don't think it's about him playing with kylian Mbappe,I think they just found potential in him when it comes to big games so they would use anything to keep him from retirement.... until he's completely due for it

That is exactly what he is trying to do but he can’t get so much money from his sell because Osimhen’s performance last season was not that impressive that clubs will want to buy him for that high price. The whole club were in face playing below average and didn’t do anything better than what they did last season. If he’s waiting for his sell in order to recruit new players, then he’ll have to wait longer and maybe have a plan B to execute that plan because I don’t see that close to happening as it is now. Osimhen is damn clear that Napoli does not needs his service anymore in the club, so he should also be searching for other clubs that will want him to join them from next season because that’s where he’ll be cherished more rather than staying back in the club that he’s not much valued like he use to before and the new coach not showing interest in using him for the next season.

Luka Modrić is surely one of the legendary player at the Real Madrid and Croatia as well who is doing amazing job throughout his career, and surely he deserves this extension and mentor role at the Real Madrid for the future with his rejection of luxury offer from the Al Hilal is understandable because we have too many players those never love to go in these conditions where life is having too many problems even they are offering huge amount of money.

If he is going to stay here and having some time with Mbappé this is also going to be amazing for the fans with things could be at his top but if he is going to start his career as mentor then surely this could be also good because he is well experienced and having enough to share with youngster which are going to have his career at this legendary club for the years.

Modric is already old because 38 years is almost close to a retirement age so ending his football career in Real Madrid will be an honor for the Croatian international footballer. He has really made positive effort for Real Madrid during his stay and for the fact that the club have offered him another year is a very good one even though speculations where tipping him on joining the Saudi league, going to the Saudi league would have indeed earn him good cash but football is not really all about the money but your commitment to the team you are playing for is very important. Real Madrid already loves Modric that's why his contract was extended so it will be lovely watching Modric play with Kylian Mbappe next season. Madrid have just got so many best players and am wondering if any team can be able to win them next season.

It's actually a confirmed news mate. Thierry Henry who is in charge of the team that'll be representing France in the upcoming Olympics games did tell the media earlier today that Thuram has been asked by Juventus not to participate in the Olympics. According to reports, all are set for Thuram to complete a 5 years move to the Italian Serie A club and will be at the club by tomorrow so he can complete his deal. Chelsea has finally complete a deal with Leicester City in the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for £30million. Seems Chelsea new manager is really taking the transfer window initiative very serious with the number of completed signings the club has completed lately with rumours of others under the tunnel.

For the record this is one fabulous signing for Chelsea so far, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is an outstanding left footed midfielder with admirable performance in the previous season at Leicester scoring 12 goals with 14 assists.  A one time Europa Conference League team player of the  2021/22 season, and with the Blues participating in the conference league next season it makes him a more perfect signing for the blues.
