Despite his age I still think Real Madrid should have given him more playing time even before now, in the Champions League he gave them the opportunity of getting to the final but he wasn't a first team player and now we have Mbappe joining the team is still going to be hard for Joseluto fit in, no space for him in the Madrid team. I think Joselu should leave the team with the injury of Mbappe things are still not going to change is best he leaves than becoming a bench warmer, signing a new contract is a bad move, such talent shouldn't be kept on the bench to waste, for Madrid to sign him I believe he's going to be as a reserve player.
Joselu was not signed to be a regular striker in Madrid. From my observation, he came to Madrid as a backup striker to other younger players. Carlo Ancelotti wanted a striker who would be on standby while they waited for the arrival of Kylian Mbappé. The signing of the French striker has put Joselu in a tight corner which will make him have little or no playing time in the club. He already knows his place and signing a new contract will depend on the options he has. If there is interest from some top clubs to get him, then he should consider moving out of Madrid. But it will be better for him to remain in Madrid if he has no option. He has already made a mark in Madrid so he should remain and enjoy his earned reputation. Real Madrid will be competing in many competitions, maybe he will still be able to play a few games.

True about the many competitions Madrid has but if we have to count how many games Joselu will start or play it won't be an impressive number starting from next season and him joining as a supporting striker it seems like he's not even included in the main squad, he should be playing with the Madrid B team if is so. But still on still Madrid isn't a club to be in while you have Mbappe joining as a striker, that's if you're playing same position, you'll find it hard to even make the sub list.

It is believed that Mbappe likes to play as a left winger/striker who is under the striker (false nine, to be honest I don’t know what it’s called correctly in English). Therefore, the transition to the position of a pure striker may require special efforts from Mbappe, but in the end, a roughly similar transformation when moving to Real happened with his idol - Ronaldo, so Mbappe will be able to repeat this path.
I'd like Mbappe to play in a diverse position, not only focus on one position as a center striker. Importantly, mbappe can be served as a temporary backup if one of his teammates gets injured. Real madrid has ever encountered the situation when Vini and Rodrygo were injured, and Real Madrid had no good wingers to replace them, except brahim diaz. Mbappe can be very helpful when madrid will encounter the same situation.

Mbappe's statistics, on the other hand, demonstrate that he continues to focus on playing as a center striker, which demands him to put in more effort. That was also the primary reason Real Madrid signed him as a striker, not as winger. All in all, mbappe can still provide a temporary solution for real madrid once one of their wingers were injured.

It is clear that if there are injuries, Mbappe can play in at least three positions, but now his destiny is only as a central striker. He will definitely be ahead of Bellingham, Vinny or Rodrigo. Let’s say if Haaland played in Real Madrid, Mbappe could play lower, but in this lineup there are no options at all that Mbappe will not play as a central striker. By the way, I don’t quite trust the statistics (by amplua) since it don’t see the difference between the center forward and the striker underneath, but it see the difference between the striker and the winger, although the second striker can play lower than the wingers.

I'm surprised to see Real Madrid want to permanently sign Joselu when he's already 34 years old and Real Madrid already sign Mbappe. I don't see there's a chance Joselu will become starter, he might only play for few minutes or stay in bench for long, waiting either one of Real Madrid's striker injured.

This is a good news since Real Madrid realize if Joselu gave some contribution and make they won Champions League, instead of kick him out after they got trophy.

Joselu can be beneficial only as a reserve player. Nothing more than that. Especially after Mbappe's arrival we are going to see Joselu playing much less than now. I don't think he would have any issue with that though. Because he is quite old and he is aware of his quality among those star attackers at the same time. He is an interesting player though. Who would have thought he would save his team against Bayern Munich by 2 goals?  Tongue

Scoring 17 goals in all tournaments despite not playing for 90 minutes mostly is still quite impressive. Normally I don't believe he is fitting Real Madrid standards but for squad depth he is still a pretty decent alternative.  Smiley

Joao Cancelo is defender who is owned by Barcelona on loan from Manchester City to finish his contract for one season and it is certain that next season Joao Cancelo will return to Manchester City if there is no loan extension or permanent purchase.
But it seems that there is no clarity on the agreement because until now Barcelona has not confirmed the extension or purchase option, Pep himself will agree to the sale of Joao Cancelo if he can make profit.
Obviously this is difficult condition for Barcelona considering that they are in very unfavorable condition financially, financial problems are still ongoing and Barcelona is still in the process of improving.
But looking at how he performed over the past season, it can be seen that Joao Cancelo has become an important player in Barcelona main squad and his departure might be detrimental to Barcelona performance.

But there Joao Cancelo did not get chance in the title race and in fact Joao Cancelo chances of getting the title would be wide open if he played with Manchester City.

Joào Cancelo is a Manchester City player ( Despite being on loan/ playing for Barcelona )
and he will be returning to Manchester City after the European Competitions. No direct moves has been made for him anyways but Manchester City would be demanding nothing less than 30M if Barcelona would want to get him completely.

Both Pep Guardiola and Joào Cancelo has got no plans to work with themselves no more. We will see if they'll demand for another two seasons loan for him. I highly doubt Cancelo would want to play for Manchester City next season, not even Pep Guardiola would permit such.
Barcelona will have to play with a youngster from the academy side. They have to focus on what they have now. He's won enough trophies now, all he wants is to play more game and be the first choice even if it's as a right fullback or left fullback. He lacks manners anyways. I see why Josep Pep Guardiola dumped him on the bench for so long.
Considering the reports we've read so far concerning the relationship between Pep Guardiola and Portugal international Diogo Cancelo, there's no doubt to the fact that the both of them can not work together again. Pep Guardiola since he started his career as a Barcelona boss has shown that he doesn't tolerate any form of disrespect from any of his players and whenever a player develops any form of rift with him, he makes sure the player leaves the club. He did that against one of the best strikers in world football as of then Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Barcelona which forced the swedish out of the club, he also made Yaya Toure leave Barcelona after he fell out with the Ivorian and despite Yaya Youre's legendary status at Manchester City when before Pep Guardiola arrived the Spanish manager was the reason he left the club.
Manchester City recently made a statement that clearly states how much they'll will take from any team that wants Diogo Cancelo and the best thing that can happen to the Portuguese career now is to move away from the club.

Apart from what you said, Ronaldo is also always chasing new records, as has happened in the Saudi Arabian League this year, so it is quite natural that Ronaldo has far more followers than any other player. And even his comments on Instagram when he saw that Mbappe was officially playing at Real Madrid for next season also created a record number of likes. So it is not surprising that this is clear evidence that many people like Ronaldo more than other players in the sport of football.
The reason why most people like him more than other football players is because he is considered an inspiration for other people. Ronaldo does not drink alcohol, he does not wear tattoos on his body, he is generous in helping others, at the age of 38 he is still able to maintain his best performance and is very consistent in maintaining his athletic body shape.
In fact, he is still able to play at European level and compete with other players who are younger than him, but because he is an ambitious player, he always wants to try new challenges in his career. Many of his supporters wanted him to return to the Premier League to increase competition there, Newcastle had taken an interest in him bringing this phenomenal player back to the EPL. I hope Newcastle really brings Ronaldo to St. James Park.

Joselu has spent a lot of his career in various different teams so far, so indeed he has a lot of experience in playing, Joselu joining Madrid will certainly make Madrid front line full of players in the attacking position next season, on the other hand, of course it will make Madrid attacking line have quite good squad depth and will not even have difficulty for Ancelotti in maintaining the stability of his team if someone is injured, But in the other hand, we also can't deny that with the crowded attacking line, of course it will be difficult for Ancelotti to determine their main line-up and will tend to create jealousy between players because theeir don't get the same opportunity to play.

Joselu is now 32 years old, so as a striker he should have earned a place in the starting line-up, at the moment Joselu may have entered the end of his career so it is very important for him to be able to perform well and proudly before ending his career in football, so I think it is better for Joselu to play at another club that can give him more opportunities to play than Madrid.

That's the thing with a team like Madrid, many players really want to play for Madrid but at the same time in Joselu's situation the question is "when is it going to be his turn to play regularly"? The players upfront are the types that are not injury prone so the injury we talk about that will give way for some players to play is not coming any time soon, it would be hard. With what Madrid have now is better for some players to see the future themselves and you know whenever a player doesn't play much it kills his confidence and it takes time for some to pick form back again. I just have to see how the 32yr old would manage next campaign.

Joselu is a very important player and I think the steps taken by the Real Madrid team are very correct, the team not only needs starter players but also has to think about team balance to maintain team performance even though there is player rotation that occurs.

Mbappe was recruited as a starter and as a substitute for Joselu, I think Joselu is very good, despite his age, he is no longer young, but whether he is filling in or not playing regularly, I think Joselu's physique is still quite good and this is also happening this season, Joselu He didn't get many playing minutes but he was able to make a contribution to the team.

Real madrid is still under development to finish joselu's permanent player contract; realmadrid is not booting joselu only because he is somewhat old as a football player. Real Madrid is still in discussion with Espanyol to finish the move; it can happen shortly. Joselu believes competing with mbappe will probably be triggering adrenaline once more.
Joselu proved in the game against Bayern Munich; he deserves a chance to remain in real madrid as a striker. Although real madrid has signed mbappe as a new player, the team still needs to add one more striker to serve as a backup for him.
Finally, real madrid has opted to retain mbappe and joselu as a striker.

For real madrid, I considered joselu as as a hero. That's amazing moment by joselu for sure at the time he rescued madrid from the defeat against bayern Munich. Joselu will have no assured spot on the starting line; it's all about the battle to on top in the squad.
Though joselu, sometimes referred to the unsung hero of real Madrid last season, Ancellotti will never be favoring one player to always play as a starting line. All things considered, there is no assured spot for a play on the main squad free from rivalry with their fellow players.

That's the situation and Joselu will at least be very useful in times of crisis. He can be a decent supersub and what he did against Bayern Munich in the Champions League means Real Madrid can win the Champions League this season. If it weren't for that, it is certain that Real Madrid would not have won its 15th title.
At least that's Real Madrid's way of appreciating Juselu's hard work because he helped Real Madrid when they had difficulties against Bayern Munich and it's true what you said. If it weren't for him, it's likely that Real Madrid wouldn't have been able to win the Champions League title for the 15th time because it was thanks to him that Real Madrid could. beat Bayern Munich and advanced to the final even though he is a second tier striker and it is possible that Carlo Anceloti will only use Juselu when he is experiencing a deadlock, he will be the player Real Madrid will need so it is not wrong if Real Madrid makes this player permanent.

Even though Real Madrid currently has a pretty good pure striker, Real Madrid also needs a backup striker to at least play against lower level clubs so Carlo Anceloti has the freedom to rotate players so he doesn't just rely on his good players, the coach can save the stamina of his great players. for more difficult matches. Even though Juselu is 34 years old, his abilities are still quite good as a striker if he plays for a normal club, even though he is not very productive, his services can still be used.

Because of that, Joselu has proven that he is a second-tier striker who deserves another chance. A permanent transfer would make Joselu happy because he wants to play longer with Real Madrid after failing to prove it in 2010. Moreover, Joselu's release clause is a very cheap 1.5 million euros and that will not make it difficult for Real Madrid to dig into their pockets.

The summer transfer market is still about 13 days away from opening. Except for the EPL which has been open since June 14 and closed on August 30, 2024. But several transfer rumours have been made, one of the biggest being Mbappe's move. I think the transfer market of each league is the same, but different even though it is not so far for the difference in the number of days.
Here is the transfer schedule in each league

La Liga open July 1, closes September 2, 2024
Serie A opens July 1, closes August 31, 2024
Bundesliga opens July 1, closes September 2, 2024
Ligue 1 opens July 1, closes September 1, 2024
Saudi Pro League opens July 1, closes September 7, 2024

Maybe the Euro will also have a lot of influence on the player transfer policy seen from their game. So it seems that the Euro could be an observation ground for players to buy. So that they will play as best as possible to increase their value.

Am actually really surprised by this news of Raphinha wanting to leave Barcelona because in the very beginning when he came to Barcelona a few years back, he said that Barcelona it's his dream club as a boy, and he even turned down the advances of Chelsea football club, so am wondering what might has happened for him to think of leaving, though of a truth, the grass isn't that greener at Barcelona the way he expected, and he hasn't leaved up to the expectations the club placed on him, but I think he should stay put, and look how this season goes.

Lastly, the more reason I think he should stay put is that they have a new manager in charge of the team, so he should just stay put and look if this present coach can bring the best out of him, because with his current form now, it would be difficult for him to find a club better than Barcelona vying for his signature at this present form that he is now.
I don't think Rapinha will leave Barcelona. Because Hansi Flick also seems to include Rapinha as a player that Barcelona really needs next season. So it is impossible for the club to sell the player. Apart from that, Rapinha also still has a fairly long contract at Barcelona, namely until around 2027 if I remember correctly. And I even heard that Rapinha wanted to spend his career at Barcelona. Which means he even wants to play at Barcelona until he retires. Well, Barcelona still needs him and let's see whether under the guidance of Hansi Flick we will see all the Barcelona players return to their maximum performance again or not.
Rapinha is one of Barcelona's most reliable players at the moment, although at times he is kept on the side bench, Barcelona rely on him for most of the matches. If Rapinha is happy with his current club and Barcelona are unwilling to sell him due to a player crisis, the Brazilian winger is unlikely to move to another club. When the transfer market opens, such rumors are heard a lot, but not all rumors are true. I don't hear much buzz about Rapinha leaving Barcelona for another club so I think he will stay at Barcelona.

Barcelona will try to keep this winger in their team as well as buy some more players as their team performance is not going well at all. To improve the performance, they must plan to recruit some players.

Bro, you stated incorrect points about Joselu and Mbappe above; I need to address them all. Firstly, Joselu has never played on the left wing position at Real Madrid; he is a pure striker.

Source

I think it's just typographical error because obviously Joselu plays as a forwarder and some time as right winger precisely. It's some time confusing to differentiate between left winger and right winger unless you imagine it on the pitch.

No! They're not in anyway close to each other in terms of the position they play. Despite that both of them play as forward, they play as left winger and right winger respectively. Joselu to be precise play as right winger while Mbappe play on the left wing. If there should be any clash of position, it should be between either Mbappe and Vinicious or between Mbappe and Bellingham.

Joselu truly deserves to be signed as a permanent player. Although Joselu's price is somewhat low, which is about €1.5 million;still, for the team his performance against Bayern Munich in the semi final of UCL by scored two goals was absolutely exceptional.  I really agree with the choice to bring him on a permanent move. Joselu will, however, be engaged in a very fierce race against mbappe to get into the starting eleven. Basically, then, investing €1.5 million to acquire the unsung hero of Real Madrid is still rather worthy.

Joselu is also fully committing to dedicate all of his time to the real madrid. Mbappe, as a new striker of real madrid still needs time to adapt; Thus, bring joselu to the real madrid is gonna give a very good competition for mbappe, so in essence, sign joselu as a permanent striker will give multiple benefits to the club.
No doubt with Joselu decision full committing dedicate his future with Real Madrid after reach personal agreement for permanent contract because currently he was loan players from Espanyol.
Indeed has many top attacking line after signing Kylian Mbappe and Endrick is not problem for Joselu offer Madrid contract extend with his potential become super sub always success scoring goals at many crucial matches in this season exactly at Champion League semifinal match against Bayern Munich.

For next season, Real Madrid have five attacking line from Vinicius Jr, Mbappe, Endrick, Rodrygo and Joselu will make interested who will get regular position and youth player Endrick will fight hard to get regular position with potential regular as central forward is Kylian Mbappe.

Ronaldo fans are always defensive and we have the vast number of them because they're everywhere in the world. Why do Ronaldo have more followers and fans than Leo Messi? It's clear because Ronaldo have always achieved major titles and deliver in top levels than his competitor. Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi are both best players because they've accomplished so much in the real world of football. These players have performed to the fullest and will do everything to ensure they're having smooth run.

I was also looking at how Ronaldo transformed from a winger to a perfect striker when he moved to Real Madrid and Mbappe might also want the same thing too and not play at the wing because we already have someone playing there and he has being the best player for real madrid. Mbappe playing as a striker will make him the target man and that is what he would love as he moved to a club with stars already. Everybody will be playing for him and all he has to do is to create spaces with his speed for the ball to to pass to him and he scores. He is going to be enjoying his time at Real Madrid and everything will just work to favour him. He has worked and it is his turn for his flowers to be given to him and also win some awards and important trophies.
