Joselu was not signed to be a regular striker in Madrid. From my observation, he came to Madrid as a backup striker to other younger players. Carlo Ancelotti wanted a striker who would be on standby while they waited for the arrival of Kylian Mbappé. The signing of the French striker has put Joselu in a tight corner which will make him have little or no playing time in the club. He already knows his place and signing a new contract will depend on the options he has. If there is interest from some top clubs to get him, then he should consider moving out of Madrid. I think it's just typographical error because obviously Joselu plays as a forwarder and some time as right winger precisely. It's some time confusing to differentiate between left winger and right winger unless you imagine it on the pitch.

No! They're not in anyway close to each other in terms of the position they play. Despite that both of them play as forward, they play as left winger and right winger respectively. Joselu to be precise play as right winger while Mbappe play on the left wing. If there should be any clash of position, it should be between either Mbappe and Vinicious or between Mbappe and Bellingham.
