Conte would absolutely be a great choice. Maybe even the best one. Because as you know Conte already has a history with Chelsea. He made Chelsea Premier League and FA Cup champions once each.  Smiley

While he is available why don't they just go for him first? If I were Chelsea chairman my priority would be to do that. However I haven't even heard his name among those many rumours. I just want to see them finding a decent manager and not giving up on him easily just as they did with Pochettino.  Sad  This isn't the road going to success for sure. Patience is one of the most important factors in football. It hasn't been easy for most top teams to reach this level.
Sometimes, the end relationship with team should be considered in making decisions; how did Antonio Konte end his stay at Chelsea is something to be considered before judging him; although the team now have new management, he can decide coming back since he is currently not in any contract because he is a good coach that knows his job and he knows how to manage big teams.

Although, Chelsea management is intending to sign Enzo Maresca who promoted Leicester City back to Premier League as potential replacement for Pochettihnho who left the club last week, and there other coaches like De Zarbi who are also good and will be a perfect replacement for Pochettihnho.

Let’s just wait and see what Chelsea will do before the beginning of the season, they need to bring and end to this inconsistency their team is having.

I thought that after Xavi was fired, it actually opened up an opportunity for Bayern Munich to try to bring in this coach rather than having to bring in Vincent Kompany, who has currently failed to bring Burnley to achieve good results in the EPL.
this should be the best choice for Bayern Munich and I am sure that if Munich makes an offer to Xavi, he will definitely accept the offer because it is better to coach a team that has quality players than to coach a team that cannot appreciate his contribution.

Quote
Vincent Kompany is on the verge of becoming Bayern Munich’s head coach.
The two clubs have agreed a figure of around £10.2m.

Source: https://www.skysports.com/transfer/news/12691/12476234/transfer-centre-live-ipswich-town-supremo-ed-schwartz-flies-in-for-kieran-mckenna-talks

This is a big move by Bayern Munich. This is definitely a very big leap of faith. I do not know if it is going to work out perfectly for them or not.

First of all, he does not have a big history of managing big clubs. Well, he does not even have a history of managing. I think Burnley was his first professional club if I'm not wrong. And I do not know why Bayern Munich is so interested in bringing him in. Because he was the manager of Burnley and Burnley just got relegated this season, you know that.

So the resume of Kompany is not the best, to be honest. And I think they could have gone and gotten better coaches who have better track records of coaching with big clubs. Let's see what happens. I think the deal has not been finalized yet, right? But by the looks of it, it is going to be very soon.

It seems to me that ten Hag is not so bad, two seasons, two titles, these are better results than Arteta, of course, a very big drawback of this season is that Manchester United were left without the Champions League next season, for such a team this is a big miss. Ten Hag is not the best coach, that is true, but he has flashes of very good play, so there is definitely potential in him, another question is whether he will have time at Manchester United to continue his work.

You should give accolade to where it's been deserved, Arsenal has received their flowers despite not having any trophy this season, the last I remembered Manchester United only beat Arsenal 1 out of their last 5 games, this should tells you how strong how Arsenal were this season because they beat Manchester United home and away this season and you guys just want to ridicule Arsenal. Alright, let's see if you guys are going to appear in the Champions League next season, oh sorry you guys has not been there for two seasons now. Grin

Erik has tried but for a club like Manchester United who has broken a lot of history, he hasn't done anything but drag the club backward, he is below mid for a coach in Manchester United but look at Arsenal, Arteta met Arsenal as broken team without vision, tweak the players and almost win the Premier League tow times but some mistakes cost them but even at that, he has broken some record for Arsenal, this is the kind of manager a club begs to keep because of their commitment and not the one that will bring them down to their feet way below average.

Another superstar player linked to the Saudi teams and it seems it's the time for Rafael Leão the talented and young player of AC Milan. During this season he had a perfect performance he helped his team to be on the to side of the Serie A. and his performance and his age made some teams to send him an offer. For example, after Mbappe left PSG they wanted to hire Rafael Leão for the next season.
Now it seems Al Hilal is also interested in hiring Rafael Leão and even the 175 million euro clause can't stop Al Hilal while that's a huge amount of money.

https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-psg-competition-rafael-leao-al-hilal-willing-pay-over-eur100m-ac-milan-star/bltf7c0c2909951e314

Lol. Al-Hilal is so afraid of competition that they will soon put together two squads like City. Of course, this is their business, but I don’t know if Leau should choose money and, at 24 years old, go downhill instead of developing. I don’t know if Milan will be satisfied with the compensation, it seems they made significant efforts to keep Leau in Milan.

He loves to stay at milan. he has snubbed a lot of offers from so many big clubs. How can he move to the al hilal? it sounds a non sense thing to happen for sure. Im sure he will be staying in acmilan no matter how big the offer that will come to him. Leaso has his heart for milan.

He is not even thinking to leave from his beloved club. Milan won't sell him. It's too good to be true.
I agree with you and it feels like this is just a sensation created by the media while waiting for summer to come. Leao has become an important part of Mian and he never even thought about leaving to another club. Even if he could leave, of course his choice would be to one of the top 5 European league clubs and not kill his career in the Saudi league at a very young age.

Leao is a long-term investment player for Milan and I think even if Leao leaves, Milan will have difficulty finding a replacement. As a winger, of course his role is irreplaceable in several seasons and if he gets injured, Milan will always be confused. He is very fast, agile and has good finishing and that is Leao's specialty.

Look who's talking. He is talking as if he is the best coach in the world. I understand why someone could say this about the slot. But at the same time, he (Ten Hag) has to understand that he has not been impressive since he has joined Manchester United. So he cannot possibly pass on these type of comments about another coach. What about him being absolute shit?

What about him dragging Manchester United into the mud? The whole world sees him as unimpressive. Even his own fans and even his own players do not want him at Manchester United. What about that? And let’s be clear I am not trying to defend Arne slot by doing this. I am just trying to figure out or make sense of why a coach who is a failure himself is calling another coach a failure.

it's reporting by goal

it says that

Quote
According to Sky Sport in Italy, the former Serie A champions are closing in on appointing ex-Chelsea and Tottenham manager Conte as their next head coach. The report further claimed that Napoli are likely to finalise a deal with the Italian manager in the next couple of days.
https://www.goal.com/en/lists/antonio-conte-back-napoli-with-gian-piero-gasperini-talks-atalanta-contract/blt2269742d42b3ba99#csa1792b32a16b14ae

Conte was not a priority target for Partinopei's recruitment efforts for the upcoming season but the situation has forced napoli to do that. Napoli had been eyeing Gasperini from Atalanta, but things have altered since Atalanta won the Europa League trophy and it gives gasperini another chance to keep become a coach for atalanta. The club is interested on making a new offer for Gasperini and it seems like that gasperini has almost reached a new deal with atalanta following the latest report. Conte has been offering Atalanta an alternative answer as a new coach who must be hired by the club.
Conte and Napoli have nearly reached an agreement and i hope it'll be finished very soon. It wasn't that horrible to hire Conte as Napoli's new coach. Conte has an excellent track record in the Serie A competition and no doubt that napoli shall recruit him as a new coach. If the club attempts to attract him as a new hire, they are not on the wrong way considering the fact that conte has ever won serie a trophies many times.
Conte is very open to the job he will definitely receive a proposal from Napoli but said it will be discussed next week as this will be serious for Napoli to hire Conte considering his experience in Serie A is quite long.

If they reach an agreement it will be valid until 2027, we wait for official confirmation from them about the agreement.

Now it is clear that Napoli are collapsing after Spalletti left even being able to only finish in the middle of the table, meaning there is a problem with the coach who cannot develop the previous Napoli game that was so victorious with Spalletti.

I hope with Conte reaching an agreement it will make Napoli return to good form next season.

Conte is likely to move to Napoli after a long break, Chelsea doesn't seem to have included Conte on the list of coaches they are targeting. After officially parting ways with Pochettino, several names are now being linked as potential Chelsea coaches next season. In fact, Chelsea fans still hope that the club owner will retain Pochettino, even though a small number think otherwise. To compete to become a team challenging for the title next season, it is clear that Chelsea management must look for a quality coach who has experience coaching Premier League clubs, because it speeds up adaptation and has a quick impact on the club development.

Meanwhile, Chelsea decision to fire Pochettino indicates that club officials and management are impatient, even though Pochettino never got the full opportunity to show his best tactical qualities this season, because most of Chelsea players took turns in the treatment room due to injuries. With Chelsea young squad already developing, perhaps next season it will be easier to compete in the top four of the standings if Pochettino still stays, but Chelsea journey will be continued by different people. Of course, no success is easy to achieve, now Chelsea position is quite risky if they rashly appoint a new coach.

I think the writer does twist some of his words, though it's not hard to see the implication if you take what he said at face value. The season has not yet started and some banters already happened. Hopefully, this means an interesting match will happen next season if Ten Hag doesn't get sacked. It would be a shame to see the memes of three bald managers dying because he left Manchester United. That being said, Man United has been flooded with fake news recently so I wouldn't be surprised if crazy rumors start popping out just because some media need those clicks in the next few months or so.

All of that still up in my head as I don't forget things in a rush. He is vacant and can help this squad, he is the nearest in line for that job but he has not been linked with them though.
He made them unstoppable that season with the likes of Matic, Hazard, Victor Moses, Diego Costa, Ngolo Kante and many others buzzing

We don't know the plans of Todd Boehly and we don't know who he considers but checking hmthe requirements and standards to be met by the incoming coach, I feel like either of Roberto De Zebri and Antonio Conte would still do a perfect job come rain come sun, they're both good attacking and defensive wise.
I don't need to be told how good they're. It's just that one has seen success in the Premier League Competition while the other hasn't.

Olise is a top winger with so much creativity, but he should move to a club who have plans for him now and in the future. That's all I can say.

Crystal Palace are in possession for this incredible player and countless moments, he single-handedly deliver Crystal Palace with his stunning goals for the club. He's young and promising for longterm projects, perhaps with the sights from elite clubs, Manchester United and Chelsa. I'm a blue fan and would really persuade him to accept offers from the Blues because he will definitely have sufficient game time. Michael Akpovie Olise is talented footballer and have grown to become a top player for his club, let's see what happen to him next.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are reported to really want Michael Olise, to be honest, this is a good opportunity for Crystal Palace to get big money from the sale of Olise, Olise as a striker is quite good, he is quite sharp in front of goal, Arsenal have to work hard to get his services , there is a big possibility for Arsenal to become EPL champions next season if they are successful in getting Olise, Arsenal's attack power is very weak.

Arsenal will clearly be able to provide new experience to Michael Olise because if he joins there, he will be able to play in the Champions League next season. However, it seems that what determines it is not Olise's wishes, but rather will be influenced by the amount of money that Crystal Palace can obtain from the deal, and which team really has the seriousness to sign Michael Olise. Whatever the result, it is still a good thing for Michael Olise's career because both Chelsea, Man United, and Arsenal are good teams and could be the right place for him to continue to improve, and get bigger wages.
He is 22 years old and has 10 goals and 6 assists in 19 games in the Premier League. Moreover, he does this with Crystal Palace. He might have better stats next year with Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United. The team that wants to transfer him will of course have to pay a very high transfer fee to his team. Important transfers are being discussed for Chelsea next year. If they can achieve these, they will be an important team for the Premier League championship next year.

Erik ten Hag was not impressed with Arne Slot's Feyenoord in 2023/24.
Manchester United's coach believes that Peter Bosz's PSV team deservedly became Eredivisie champions and actually deserved more in the domestic KNVB Cup, while Feyenoord did not make a very good impression on him.

Chelsea is a joke under todd boehly. pochet has started to show his progress but todd sack him. It will be fine if club will try to bring a good coach.

Xavi is now jobless and he can become a very good target by chelsea. I'd rather remove those names and replace them with Xavi as Chelsea's potential coach. Xavi has extensive experience developing young talent in Barcelona. This is what Todd Boehly is searching for a coach that can develop the young player, then chelsea can sell these players with maximum price. It was a big NO to sign Kenneth, Maresca, or even Thomas.

I'm still hoping that Todd will use his common sense and choose Xavi. Barcelona has already dismissed him. It's a good opportunity for the club to hire him as its new coach.
Believe me, Todd Boehly is one of the worst chairmans Chelsea has ever had.  Sad  I really miss Abramovich in that seat. Boehly just doesn't know much about football, it is obvious. Spending billions of euros for transfers but still not even being able to finish the Premier League in top four, sacking Pochettino at the end of his first season already despite the huge improvement in results recently...

I hope Chelsea gets Xavi at least. Xavi is one of the decents choices for the development of young players. We all know how much he cared about Yamal for example. Chelsea has many young players in the squad now so.  Smiley
Todd Boehly era at the Chelsea is going to be the darkest era with things are surely going to be more problematic in coming years because sacking of Pochettino is never been ideal with having good improvement in teams performance and as things were going there were hopes for having spot into top four, but this decision brings them down and uncertainty is again around which could be the worst thing for the fans even many are now having change of mind as Chelsea fan because their heartbroken due to this decision.

Xavi at the Chelsea could be one of the best option while he is quality coach and having good ability to bring good results but can Todd Boehly will be done anything good for the Chelsea now I am also having not good expectations from him after this decision which is really one of the worst and surely now fans are badly missing Abramovich which done amazing job as the Chelsea owner.

Big revolution in Serie A for the next Year.

Sarri left Lazio
Mou left Roma
Allegri left Juventus
Pioli left Inter

4 ot the best teams have or will have a new coach.

For Juventus we will probably have Motta in the bench, for Milan we may have Fonseca.
Pioli was Milans manager, not Inters, Inters manager is Inzaghi (loved him when he was a player too) and he is staying until next summer at least, probably will stay even longer if they win the league again. I think it is quite obvious that Milan didn't do as well as expected and that is why they fired Pioli, Mourinho has been fired for a long time and De Rossi has done quite alright so far, same with Lazio because Sarri didn't do anything good, Lazio sucked all season long.

I feel like it is quite obvious that we are going to see some changes one way or another, and could not really consider that as a bad thing, we need to consider that as normal and not really approach it as something wild, it is very normal to do this. Teams fire managers when they do badly.
No doubt, coaching changes are like a revolving door. Its challenging, with Pioli leaving Milan, Pochettino and Ten Hag leaving too soon. Like the boardroom, the pressure is on and occasionally people arent treated fairly. Coaches need time to build something great. Creating a winning team takes time. It requires vision, trust, and hard effort. Firing a coach every other season creates instability, not success. Its the way things are, as you stated. We don't have to like it. We might be able to offer these folks some breathing room. Let them develop their team and demonstrate their skills. If they dont work, modify them. But don't shoot at the first sight of peril. It hurts the team, supporters, and sport.

The temptation to play in the Champions League is tempting, but we also need to see how tight the competition is for places at Arsenal because Michael Olise must be able to get Arteta to give him a place in a position that is already filled. Or Olise will have to wait longer on the bench as a second-string player. Remember Arsenal is full of great players and it won't be easy for Olise to get regular playing minutes. Meanwhile at Chelsea or Man United, there are still many places he can easily get, even though he doesn't play in the Champions League, at least he has a big chance of becoming a regular player. Regarding playing minutes at Chelsea and Man United, in my opinion the competition is not as tight as at Arsenal. All decisions go back to Michael Olise, Arsenal has become a stable club in the Premier League and is always one step away from lifting the trophy that Man City is facing. Do you want to go to a club that is stable but the competition is tight, or do you want to go to a club that is easy to get a regular place in but still needs a process to become stable?

Yeah De Zerbi is another candidate who might be a good replacement. I said Xavi because of thinking that he isn't actually a bad manager. He has managed Barcelona for less than 3 years time so he isn't very experienced.

However Xavi looks like a manager who knows how to work with young talents. He is giving the chances they need for their development. Besides Barcelona actually got a La Liga and Super Cup titles in the previous season. This season wasn't good enough but there are always ups and downs for most teams.  Smiley

Anyways, when it comes to the reason of Pochettino's sacking it is hard to tell. It was a meaningless decision of the chairman.

He has a good knowledge of the Premier League and as well other coaches, he also had a good first season with Brighton but wasn't able to win something but then he qualified them for the European Europa League Competition for the very first time. Xavi Hernandez doesn't have that experience, he will need a season to settle down and understand things well. He has a good knowledge of football and all that but bringing him to Chelsea is not something I feel will benefit both sides in thr long run.

They can also look at Antonio Conte who is vacant. He is a good tactician and will help these talented players.

Roberto De Zebri also knows how to work with youngins, same way he with Shakhtar Donetsk and Brighton. He already expressed his desires to work in the Premier League Competition again immediately he parted ways with Brighton.

Todd Boehly should be smoking crack and stuff.

Trabzonspor want to loan Paul Onuachu for another season but Southampton want to sell him. Southampton's asking price is 15 million Euro. Trabzonspor, on the other hand, paid 1.5 million Euro as a loan fee last season, this season they want to pay a little more and loan him out again.
Onuachu was the savior of Trabzonspor this season. He was the best player of the team. Obviously, 15 million Euro is a lot of money in Turkish conditions, but Onuachu deserves this transfer fee. If the economic conditions in the country were not so bad, they would definitely buy him. Now Southampton's decision is awaited. If Trabzonspor can't get him this season, they will have a hard time filling that area and maybe they will have to spend more money on a player they don't know.

With Toni Kroos planning to retire this summer, Real Madrid have one eye on Manchester City midfielder Rodri to fill the gap left by the German midfielder, a report has claimed.
https://www.90min.com/real-madrid-want-man-city-star-replace-toni-kroos

Kroos' decision to retire from Real Madrid may force the club to sign a new player to replace him and madrid has found the best one to replace him, it was rodri from city. It has been stated that Rodri is one of the players who will be pursued by Real Madrid due to his excellent performance in Manchester City which has made Real Madrid interested in signing him as a new player follow kroos's decision to retire even early from the club. Kroos has decided it to retire at his peak performance and madrid needs to find somone who capable to be a backup. The main question is still the same whether city will let him to leave from the club. We do know that city as a club that doesn't even need money.

This is definitely fantastic news for Rodri because he was an abandoned player at Atletico Madrid a few years ago but real madrid is now having interest to recruit him. Madrid is now interested in recruiting him as a new midfielder to fill Kroos' place which is empty after kroos retire from real madrid last day. We know that Real Madrid's coach Ancelotti knows him very well and this may be his consideration to pick him.

It's because Real Madrid has played Manchester City several times in a row. This has also piqued Ancelotti's interest in him as a potential replacement for Kroos at Manchester City following his good performance when he was facing real madrid in UCL

The key issue is if the city will allow him to leave the club. We know that Rodri has played a significant part in winning so many titles.
