Can’t lie, I’m disappointed Alonso isn’t going to take over from Klopp. I assume he thinks he will get the Real Madrid job when Ancelotti retires. Big risk though imo, if Leverkusen have a crap season Real will move for somebody else, the owe Alonso nothing.

In life sometimes you have to take a big opportunity if it comes your way. There is no guarantee Leverkusen will be good next season and if they’re not his career will be on a knife edge.
not only you, i am also very disappointed with the decision taken by alonso.

Quote
The decision has been made, Xabi Alonso has one more season at Leverkusen

as a liverpool fan, i am sure that alonso will make liverpool even greater than it is now, because if alonso succeeds in making a team like liverpool invincible then with a squad as good as the one he has liverpool, for sure he will make it even greater.  Alonso is a coach who is highly sought after by almost all the big European teams at the moment, what he has done at Liverpool has truly amazed everyone.

Manchester United are chasing Dani Olmo who has a release clause of 60 million euros which can be activated from this summer.

Several teams are interested in the player and they are always the same ones, the only ones with the money Cheesy
Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea.

Several teams have implemented the strategy of imposing low enough clauses to generate safe profits after Covid19, especially teams without a good liquidity of money.

It seems that the rumors about Xabi Alonso joining Livepool or Bayern are fake. Alonso will stay in Leverkuzen for another season.
The favorites for a new Liverpool manager are Roberto De Zerbi and Ruben Amorim from Sporting Lisbon.

No, the rumours are not fake. Xabi Alonso was touted by Bayern Munich and Liverpool; and rightly the manager has decided to dismiss the Liverpool interest. He is just having a great statrt to managerial life, Liverpool is a burden too soon for the Bayer coach.

In my opinion, i think Xabi Alonso is better off staying in the Bundesliga either with Bayer or Bayern Munich.
When a coach experiences success for the first time, will they still stay at the club?
Yes, of course a coach who is successful in getting good results at one of these clubs helps get the best title that has never been achieved, Xabi Alonso will definitely stay.
So what if Xabi was given an offer to become coach for Bayern Munich?
It seems like Leverkusen and Bayern Munich are popular clubs that are very professional, so whatever happens, Bayer will definitely not let Xabi go to Bayern Munich, which will jeopardize Leverkusen achievements in the coming season on the grounds that Xabi must already know the weaknesses of the strategy he used for Leverkusen.
For me, this news will all just be rumors.
It's normal for people to speculate. I know that if Xabi Alonso comes to Bayern Munich, it will be good news for him. Bayern sees Xabi Alonso as the perfect candidate to take over coach Thomas Tuchel's hot seat. But that's just like he's betraying the team he's leading. Therefore, I believe that Xabi Alonso will stay at Leverkusen in the 2024/25 season despite receiving offers from many top European teams. Signing Xabi Alonso will be very difficult, which may be almost impossible. Now is not the time to talk about the future. Xabi Alonso wants to develop further with Leverkusen. Everything has become clear. One of the reasons for keeping Xabi Alonso at Leverkusen is that his contract with this team is still valid. Assuming he has two or three more successful years with Leverkusen, then perhaps it will be easier to recruit him away from the club.
Yes, that's what I mean when Xabi Alonso received a big offer from Bayern Munich, Xabi could have accepted the offer but the problem is it's not just about the big offer but Xabi reputation is at stake in this matter because if Xabi moves to Bayern Munich there will definitely be a lot of people saying Xabi is simply a traitor to Leverkusen and caused Xabi reputation to become very bad.
Meanwhile, currently this great coach is in the midst of his first success, he could break a record in history, break Bayern Munich's dominance and could win the title at UEL and these rumors are true, Leverkusen fans will definitely criticize Xabi as a traitor.
But I'm sure that will never happen on the other hand he is a coach who has a very good policy so he can consider the long term and prefer to get a higher title with Leverkusen for 1 more season.

I want to say the opposite of what you are saying. It is not an ambitious decision. Xabi understands his role as a young manager, and he is unwilling to accept greater duties when he coaches a larger club than Leverkusen. I don't think it's an ambitious decision. Xabi is only looking to avoid putting himself under a lot of pressure as a young manager to the big club. I'm sure you understand how much pressure comes with becoming a manager for a big club like Munich or Liverpool. More fans, a larger target, more responsibility, and much more.

Imo, this is Xabi's main reason for staying at Leverkusen. Everything requires a process, mate. You can't really imagine jumping from 10 to 100 in an instant. It will only add to his workload as a big club coach. I support this decision, and Xabi is gradually but steadily progressing to the next level, despite the fact that managing the big club does not happen overnight. I can't deny that if he succeeds as a manager for a big club, he will get everything, but that isn't what Xabi needs in his career. Trust the process, and I'm sure this is his philosophy.

Rather, I think that he and his team have built something over the last two years. They created the team and environment to win three titles this year. This is extraordinary. Why should he give up on that now and not reap the fruits of his labor? He will play in the CL with Leverkusen next season and the club is in a very good financial position and will get a lot more money than in recent years through the national championship title, national cup and international successes, which means that they can keep the top performers and get even more signings can strengthen. He shouldn't just give up on all of this. That's why he made the right decision to extend the contract by one year.

In life sometimes you have to take a big opportunity if it comes your way. There is no guarantee Leverkusen will be good next season and if they’re not his career will be on a knife edge.

Immediately I got the news of him staying at Bayern Leverkusen I thought just as you he certainly having a wait for the Real Madrid job which can be open to him if the current contract with Ancelloti who is heavily link to Brazil still isn’t extended. It’s a risk as you have said but i definitely agree with him not on the side of waiting for Madrid but because at Bayern Leverkusen he would have enough time to perfect his craft (tactics). Going to any of the current clubs available is way too risky because the expectations will be high most especially after this stellar performance.

It looks like Xabi Alonso feels he is not ready just yet and needs a more calm place like Bayer Leverkusen to grow and I hope he achieves his target. More so I happy he isn’t going to Liverpool because they are rival and having a Xabi Alonso as opposition is going to be big
Finally the speculation about Xabi Alonso future is over that he has decide to stayed at Leverkusen for at least 1 more season and it's quite dissapointing because as Liverpool fans i want to see him to being an the replacement of Klopp who decide to leave after this season ended and one of the main reason why Alonso has decide to stayed in Leverkusen is because he still new to handle Leverkusen and Alonso feel this is not the right time to moved to big teams such as Liverpool or Bayern Munich so he doesn't want to taking the risk

This is good news for Leverkusen because Alonso still at the team for much longer and obviously this season Leverkusen will gets the trophies under him but i am curious for next season whether Leverkusen is still the same as this season or not however about Liverpool and Bayern Munich after this news was appears then automatically they will look for new managers instead of Xabi Alonso and for Bayern Munich they considering the former manager of Manchester United Ralf Rangnick and for Liverpool i was found two names as the strong candidate for the replacement of Klopp such as Roberto De Zerbi and Sporting manager Rúben Amorim and about Rúben Amorim his achievement with Sporting was very impressive because he can bringing Sporting to gets Portugal league trophy and this season this team is still compete with Benfica for race title

There is no guarantee that Xabi Alonso will have a good season with Bayer Leverkusen next year, I agree with you on that, but I think what he can do with Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga will be better than what he can do with Liverpool in the Premier League next season. Liverpool is doing great with Klopp's influence but after Klopp leaves Liverpool it will not be easy to keep Liverpool in the race for the top. With this decision, Xabi Alonso may have made the right choice for his career.
The main reason Xabi Alonso wants to maintain a brilliant career with Leverkusen whatever the fate of next season is not necessarily going to be worse but a little disappointed also where Liverpool cannot be taken over by him, I feel Xabi Alonso is still not ready to go to the Premier League because the work affairs there are much tighter with great demands.

Now there are still no rumors anymore who is the closest radar to replace Klopp next season? Because Xabi has made a clear statement but I really hope some other famous names will come.
Next season will see more changes including Bayern Munich looking to move Tuchel on soon, could it be a scenario where Tuchel will handle Liverpool?

He probably needs sometime there before he moves to big clubs where there's immense pressure. I mean, look at what is happening to someone like Ten Hag. I don't think Bayer Leverkusen will have a crap season after this one because, what he has done for them so far is not just a fluke. Worst case scenario, they will be in the top 4 still if they don't sell off all their players and the League isn't that competitive.

He will still have a chance to join big clubs even after a couple of years.

There was news circulating about the less than harmonious relationship between Kimmich and Tuchel, making the atmosphere in the Bayern Munich dressing room even more tense and now it is reported that Kimmich will consider extending his contract but he must know who his coach will be next season. It must be very difficult for Bayern Munich to expect their defensive midfielder to survive, especially because the coach makes all decisions depending on that.

Kimmich and Tuchel don't seem to get on very well together so it's possible he's thinking more about his future at Bayern but I think he'll still be able to make the squad with Tuchel's current uncertain state where if Tuchel fails to retain the Bundesliga trophy then he's gone from Bayern because being sacked is very strong in terms of possibility so this could be a favourable thing for Kimmich.

Tuchel is not very good at managing Bayern and he is still given a chance but it doesnt rule out the possibility that when the final results this season do not match expectations then Bayern will kick Tuchel without giving him further opportunities because indeed from the beginning Tuchel's way of working with his firm leadership style and in accordance with the rules he holds does not really match the philosophy that Bayern has always upheld.

Even Xabi's chances are actually quite small because surely Bayern will react more if this season they have to lose the trophy they have guarded in the last 11 seasons so indeed in this case it would be better if he left before it was too late.

Although in the end maybe he will take the first step by adapting first to the new club but at least the record for being able to beat Bayern's dominance in the Bundesliga (if he can get the trophy this season) will be maintained.

That is a logical thought because even though he played very well this season but indeed as you said the guarantee for next season to remain the same is difficult especially since there are still several clubs that are bigger and stronger financially than them so it is possible for next season some clubs like Bayern or Dortmund to make changes in order to undergo the new season better.

I wouldn't say it's been a very difficult season for them. The usual adequate struggles with some passion in the league that we see every year. The Champions League is another matter, it will be particularly interesting to watch now as it's not a stage where Real are used to getting knocked out of the tournament, but it's a very serious opponent
Ancelotti is ready with all the consequences of the transfer method which is actually not very good if it says the condition of the players he has but he is still confident in that so now for Ancelotti only has to prove that what he has done is the right thing.

Facing several major competitions such as the Champions League, especially in 3 consecutive seasons always facing Manchester City, this indirectly makes the situation more complicated but the initial decisions that have been made cannot be withdrawn so now he just has to focus on the squad they have.

But for next season there are some things that will certainly be changed including bringing in some players because by looking at the age of players like Modric it is possible that this is the last season even though he is still very useful but his age is too old to be in Madrid with very heavy competition.

I thought Modric had already said he would end his career soon. But overall it doesn't matter, even if he does, I think he will find a replacement for him within one transfer window. This window will be interesting, we will finally see Mbappe in the squad, I wonder how well he will play under Ancelotti

Lionel Messi once announced his retirement from the Argentine national team, but he was called up again and played in the Qatar World Cup so they managed to become world cup champions at that time. He is no longer young so it is time for him to decide to retire even though if you look at his playing pattern it is still possible for him to play because he does not rely on his overall physicality. Lionel Messi has indeed achieved everything in the world of football, both individual achievements and for his club and country.
It is true that Lionel Messi is not even younger. He was 36 years old. And his body is not helping him in the same way as it used to at a young age due to the factor of age. But I think he should not take retirement now, he is still doing all of the above performance. If Lionel Messi is used only as a playmaker, he can do better than many world class players. Even so, he is still one of the greatest of all time. It is a different matter that he chose to play for a weak club like Inter Miami. Otherwise, if he played for a big club, he could still dominate his performance.

So it's meant to say that Lionel Messi should play a few more years, he can still perform better. Like if he plays in the in the Copa America, he can easily give Argentina another trophy.

I also read from the same report, namely Fabrizio Romano. he reported several tweets, which suggested that Alonso would stay with Bayer Leverkusen. quote that a few hours ago, Xabi Alonso had a good meeting with Bayer Leverkusen and told them that he will stay and remain at the club. which means Alonso won't be going anywhere next summer, whether it's to Bayern Munich or Liverpool. Alonso remains with Leverkusen, he even said that this is not the time to decide his future, he wants to develop at Bayer Leverkusen.

If I had bet on that, I would have made money because while many were betting on his departure, I always believed that Xabi would not allow himself to be lured by big clubs.
Anyway, with this press conference that took place today, the rumors about his possible signing by several big clubs, such as Liverpool and Bayern Munich, are finally over.

At least now this announcement will give Leverkusen more peace of mind as they continue the final months of the most important season in the club's history.... There are only eight rounds left before the end of the Bundesliga, and their leadership is ten points more than Bayern de Munich gives you a big advantage. I'm rooting for them to be able to break their rival's streak of 11 titles in a row and also lift a cup after these 31 years.

We cannot also forget other competitions such as the German Cup and the Europa League, where there are also high expectations.

Let's go up Xabi!!!

If this report happens to be legit, then this is a very nice decision made by Alonso, being in haste to leave Bayern Leverkusen after building such a formidable team wouldn't make sense, at least he should spend one or two more seasons with the club because going to another club after the season ends, he would have to start building a team with that new club and this isn't something easy to because you need to master things with the new club, even sometimes it might even take a couple of years before some coaches gets to understand things with their new clubs, and if it happens to be an impatient club like that of Chelsea who don't normally have patient with their manager, he will be sacked almost immediately if there are no results with the team.

According to Fabrizio, Xabi Alonso has already renewed for one year with Bayer Lev. and the agreement will be announced publicly shortly.
He should also have a release clause for 2025.
Hard blow for Bayern M. who thought they had already signed him after Tuchel.
Who will the Germans go to now? Will they try for Conte or try hard for Klopp?

Talking about Bayern Munich, I'm sure Munich has other options even though initially their priority was Alonso. however, it seems that Bayern Munich is aware that there are clubs competing for his services. That's why several other coaches are on Bayern's list to replace Tuchel, one of which is the Feyenoord coach. so, this is just a matter of the ideal candidate if Alonso is not willing to leave Leverkusen.
Likewise with Liverpool, Jurgen Kloop also commented on Xabi Alonso's decision. Kloop said Alonso did an extraordinary job there. Kloop also said he understood that Alonso wanted to do that. well, in the end Liverpool also had to look for a potential successor to Jurgen Kloop because the coach they were targeting remained with the team and club. Let's just follow further developments.  both for Bayern Munich, and Liverpool.

I think that if the new Bayern Munich coach is not suitable as Kimmich hopes, of course he will choose to leave and on the other hand, Bayern Munich will lose him. Several big European clubs will definitely start monitoring Kimmich's development in the summer and if they have the opportunity they will move quickly to get him.

Finally Xabi Alonso's decision keep staying with Bayern Leverkusen until one year later, bad news for Bayern Munich and Liverpool are interested teams for signing him and they have find new manager because get empty space for manager next season after Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel will leave their position. I don't know its right or bad decision made by Xabi Alonso after announcing will stay one year later with Bayern Leverkusen regarding have many teams interested for signing him next season.
Have questionable with Liverpool and Bayern Munich manager for next season after Xabi Alonso decision keep staying one year later, both teams without manager next season and the management each team have to find new manager. I am bit disappointed with Alonso keep stays one year later behind he has good achievement and not bad ideas if try how difficult become premier league manager.
I didn't expect Xabi Alonso to decide to stay at Leverkusen amidst the great interest of Liverpool and Bayern Munchen in him, I mean he has shown his loyalty to Leverkusen which has given him the opportunity to develop. It was not an easy choice to reject an offer from a club like Bayern Munich or Liverpool, and speculation about his future has now ended. Xabi Alonso has made a wise decision in my opinion, although some people regret this decision, because he rejected a good offer that may not be available in the following seasons.

On the other hand, now Xabi Alonso can finish this season with Leverkusen comfortably, without any more question marks about his future which could potentially disrupt their goal of winning trophies. The Bundesliga and DFB Pokal trophies will be proof of his skill in formulating strategies. If he is able to win the Europa League trophy then Xabi Alonso will truly be a coach to be reckoned with in the future. Bayern Munchen and Liverpool, who really need a new coach next season, will have to look for another coach because Xabi Alonso has agreed to stay.

The right decision has been taken by Alonso by staying at Leverkusen for at least one more season, after a long time of continuing to circulate rumors and uncertainty about Alonso Dieverkusen's future but finally Alonso confirmed publicly to declare he stays at Leverkusen next season, Alonso's stay certainly makes Munich and Liverpool who have been linked Alonso must turn around to target other coaches next season.

At the moment we are presented with a lot of hot transfer speculation from many top players for next season, but I think the coach transfer market is no less interesting after most likely many big teams will be left by the coach next season, currently Barcelona, Munich, Liverpool, Manchester United, Juventus and even Chelsea are rumored to be targeting a new coach for next season,  And I think with so few top coaches unemployed at the moment like Mourinho and Zidane of course it will make a very tough competition between these clubs to get a great coach, besides that it is quite interesting to see where the next coach like Tuchel, Ten Hag, Allegri and also Xavi will continue their careers at which club after indeed they no longer get the trust of their team right now to coach next season.
