At the age of 38, of course Luka Modrić is no longer able to compete in playing in the top European leagues, so it is only fitting that Luka Modrić spends the rest of his career playing in the Saudi Arabian league to collect more money and also there the league is not competitive making him Luka Modrić can still compete in showing his performance, which is different if he stays at Real Madrid.

The Saudi Professional League is not that less competitive as many view them as but they’re already gaining ground and building their standards in football already. Luka Modric joining that league because he doesn’t wants to play a competitive football might be achievable if he’s not used more often on the pitch than he’s rested on the bench. If Luka Modric joins any team there, they’ll see him as a mentor and other players will be looking up to him in the field when playing. So we can’t be so sure he’ll be playing a less competitive football as the league is already gaining recognition globally.

Quote
Real Madrid only needs Luka Modrić to be able to guide young players so that there is regeneration in the Real Madrid team and he has been doing this for the last few seasons until now it is time for Luka Modrić to leave, either retiring or continuing his career in a non-competitive league. I think it's the same, those are two good options.

Luka Modric’s impact in the league cannot be overstated without giving him the appraisal he deserves for building the younger players. He has gradually been replaced by youngsters in the position he is playing from and how this young players play shows how impactful he must have been to them when they were under him practising. With the young players that can fit into his position, leaving the club won’t be any problem to the team since they’re fully in the squad.

We have the top clubs in La Liga this season. Real Madrid have reach far this season, is regarded as the best team in La Liga this season, they have the best performance and doing the ultimate work to reach important phases this season. Carlo Ancelotti knows the high class players he have in his team and he's really comfortable working with them. Luka Modric is one of the top players in Real Madrid and he have earned his place in the team. He's currently referred to as Real Madrid legend based on his contribution to the team's progress over these years.

It is true that recently Madrid have started trying to build a game without Modric and it makes sense that what Ancelotti wants to implement is still very much in progress so that when Modric retires, stability can still be maintained. I am also sure that with Madrid young players they are trying to cover Modric position and can be said to be successful. Regarding his future, we would like Modric to be part of the staff because it would be quite helpful for Ancelotti to train his players. But if the decision goes to SPL, everything will still be fine. Unlike Kross, who extended his contract for one more season with Madrid, it's a shame that these two Madrid legends had to part ways.
It has even happened since the last 2 seasons where sometimes they try to get used to playing without Modric if their matches are not too important in order to give opportunities to some young players to get used to playing without Modric in the Madrid squad .

We can now see that the responsibility for the midfield has finally been handed over to the youngsters and i think it could still be a good situation even if Modric leaves eventually . He only has a few months left on his Madrid contract before he leaves as a free agent as his contract is due to expire in June but there is no deal in place at the moment which means he could leave after the season . But even so he will remain a Madrid legend because his devotion is undeniable because he has continued to fight and continue to make a good contribution to Madrid for a decade .
For his future i think there is still no guarantee where he will go but if he really want comfort then surely the SPL is the right place to be the last destination before he decides to retire cause after all with him in the SPL then indirectly money will flow easily at the end of his professional career .

Personally, I think he will be redundant at Manchester City as the team is well-stocked and doesn't need another striker like Mbappe when they have Haalande. If both players are competing for the golden ball and are unlikely to stand competition with each other playing in the same team, it could have a negative impact on the team as a whole. But it's fair to say that it would be a great duo

The distribution of their roles within the team would be pretty clear though. Haaland is a center forward and nothing else. He could never play a different position and he doesn't have any special talent to play anywhere else other than in the center. But Mbappe is more versatile. He could play as a left winger for sure and he could get several degrees of freedom for his game. I would put him as a semi-winger /  semi-center forward player if I had Haaland and Mbappe available at the same time. But I agree with you that for Mbappe it would be better to go to Real Madrid and have his position in the center saved.

This transfer is inherently great in theory, but in practice there will be less spectacle as both of the best players currently playing at the same club and not facing each other as rivals from different clubs. With that concept I'm not interested in such a transfer, and besides I'm sure he'll go to spain

I think Ancelotti still needs Luka Modric in his team that's why he is still keeping him in the team despite his age but for his physical condition Modric is very feet just that Ancelitti is building his team around younger players because they are the future of the club since the older players doesn't have the much time to spend in the club again. Modric may not have much playing time in Real Madrid again but his impert in the team can't be forgotten and when Real Madrid is having difficulty in the midfield Modric has always been introduced and he does wonders in the midfield when ever he is introduced in the game this alone will not let the Madrid coach to let him leave in a hurry.

For a player like Modric going to Saudi Arabia won't be a problem for his because he is a skilful player but it will be left for him to make the decision to either join the Saudi Arabian teams to make more money or to take a break from playing football.
Its over for Luka Modric's future with Real Madrid after announcing not extend his contract and Modric will be free agent player for next season, currently Real Madrid have many youth midfielder and I think right decision made by Carlo Ancelotti not giving him extend contract one year later. In this season, Luka Modric losses his position as main player and get less minutes playing in La Liga or Champion League match with Carlo Ancelotti prefer using Toni Kroos on every match as regular players.

Luka Modric not confirming yet his future team after leaving Real Madrid, linked with Saudi Pro League teams or he will stay for playing at any European team depend his potential still compete for getting regular position. I think Luka Modric has one year left for playing with European team and too easy if acceptable Saudi Pro League teams offer.

Modric is indeed a great player. His body is not as good as the players in Europe, but he has advantages in handling the ball and with accurate passes.
Modric really understands the game requested by Ancelotti. he has played for Madrid for quite a long time. and his departure will still make his name great in the eyes of fans.
Now he is 38 years old, he plays for Madrid and the Croatian national team. I think he will definitely choose to give a young player to replace him. If he retired now, Modric would also have to be proud of his achievements throughout the history of his professional career.
His age and physical condition no longer support him playing at Real Madrid because Ancelotti has been using more young players to help his team. Modric does have good skills as a midfielder, but his physical ability is no longer capable of playing fully, making Ancelotti have to try to provide opportunities for young players. Modric has helped Real Madrid a lot in winning the title and his name will always be remembered as a Real Madrid legend.

Now there is no certainty regarding his future, whether he will retire or play for another club. Still, if he has no intention of retiring then going to the Saudi Arabian league is a good decision because there are many European players who have played there before.
Luka Modric is 38 years old, and indeed, his physical strength is not going well. Like now he is not doing anything strong. His stamina is not much more and he didn't play like his prime. So therefore, I think he needs to retire from real Madrid and end his great career. It is true that he is still the best midfielder in the world and still has a lot of skill to contribute to the game possion with pretty good passes. But I think it would be good for him to give a chance to a younger player.

Thus far as Ancelotti has also loved to play Young player because his tactics are only based on fast build up counterattack while counterattack require a lot of effort for player like need a lot of stamina. So therefore if Luka Modric retire from real Madrid at the end of the season so it would be good for him and also for the club.

But to be honest I think that slowly but surely Modric's time to retreat is coming. I love him as a player and I admire this guy for what he has achieved as a footballer who is not the typical world star in terms of his appearance, but he has his very own way to navigate his whole team through difficulties in a game and he was even able to score some fine goals,. It didn't happen very often, but I remember there were a few important goals he scored in his career. But his ability to read games and to navigate through messy games is quite unique. His game with the ball is insane and his positioning without the ball is insane too. He is available nonstop and everywhere to be found. Another great player who is soon going to say goodbye.

Modric on SPL would be totally a blast. He is still decent enough to play, probably not in an intense team like Real Madrid but any team on SPL will do him just fine. Its a no brainer to reject the offer from SPL especially when it involves huge amount of money and a pretty low tax that they got to pay compared to playing in any of the current top league

Unlike Kross, who extended his contract for one more season with Madrid, it's a shame that these two Madrid legends had to part ways.

Oh come on, you cant be serious to compare both of them. First of all, Kroos is 34 years old with great physique to play most of the game while Modric is going to be 39 on September so its kinda impossible for him to play that much next year even if he extend his contract

Modric has reached the final stage of his career at Madrid, where his contract will end next season, speculation about his future is now emerging and there is news that he will move to the SPL. It cannot be denied that Ancelotti still really needs Modric presence, because it is very difficult to find players like him at the moment. But he is no longer young, and Ancelotti cannot do more to give him more playing minutes.

Los Blancos management has succeeded in keeping the transition in the main squad going well, where players like Modric and Kroos can be ideal examples for other young players. However, Modric is almost 39 years old, where his physical condition will no longer allow him to play full time, and we know that competition in Madrid midfield is now quite tight.

We have actually heard rumors regarding Modric future very often, but so far there has been no official news about where he will go. To be honest, choosing to retire at Madrid was also the right decision, he has been an inseparable part of Madrid success this decade. Ancelotti and everyone will certainly respect whatever Modric decision.

In your opinion, is Joao Neves worth that amount of money? and who is likely to get the contract?
It's too much, his market value only 50 Million Euros, if Benfica ask for 102 Million Euros, it means they will able to earn double than the fair value. There are still many good defensive midfielders out there, age isn't the only reason to sign a player, better to sign matured players from top teams.

Both Manchester United and Liverpool can't afford to spend that much, while Chelsea already spent too much in the last season. Probably he will go to PSG lol, any player with crazy fees is mostly will be signed by PSG.
Benfica can always squeeze the finances of big EPL clubs and they are always almost able to get more profits when selling their players to these clubs. I don't think it's a public secret that Benfica is one of the clubs that produces talented players over the seasons and they can make hundreds of millions of dollars every season just by selling their players.

Maybe it makes sense if PSG later joins the competition to hunt for Joao Neves and that will be a new chapter that no other team can embrace. The reason is that PSG definitely dominates by fulfilling its clauses and also providing large salaries every season. But this is just speculation and summer is still quite far away. Let's look forward to his journey and I think he will choose a club that promises a brighter career.

In fact, his abilities are still very good, it's just that this isn't accompanied by his speed, which easily fades due to age. However, his future is still a question because until now there has been no confirmation about his future with Real Madrid. It was rumored that Ancelotti had offered him to become part of Real Madrid's coaching staff, but it was not yet clear whether this was valid news or an exaggerated rumor. However, it looks like he has good potential to start his career in the coaching staff.

Modric has been part of Real Madrid for a very long time, and he has also helped Real Madrid a lot in regenerating because the experience he has is very large and he can pass that on to the young players in the squad. Their transition is also going very well, where they are starting to slowly shift the roles of senior players to younger players and we can see how the results are now. In my opinion, Real Madrid is one of the clubs that has a successful regeneration program because they have not faced any significant obstacles.

Yes, it's true that in my opinion the price of 102 euros is not a reasonable price for a player like Joao Neves, even though he is still young, we also don't know what his potential will be if he joins a top league like the EPL and League 1, Benfiqa doesn't seem to think long in setting the price at If the player is too expensive, no team will be able to recruit him. In fact, it's not a matter of not being able to afford it, it's just that it's too expensive for a midfielder whose potential is not fully known.

Man United and Liverpool will give up if the price is that expensive, they will choose another option for them to recruit which is more worth the price, perhaps by recruiting a midfielder from another top team who can be more convincing, yes, maybe only PSG doesn't have a problem with buying expensive players even though they don't has good potential but as far as I know PSG doesn't really need a midfielder. PSG no longer needs a striker to replace Mbappe.

I agree with what you said, in my opinion moving to the Saudi Pro League is a good opportunity before deciding to retire, there Modric can get a large salary and luxurious facilities like other former top European players. Modric track record with Real Madrid is very impressive, especially with the number of trophies he has presented for the club, he is the second generation of Los Galacticos. He has won various awards while strengthening Real Madrid, with increasing age and increasingly fierce competition in midfield, it is time for Modric to take a new path in his career.

Ancelotti and everyone at the club certainly want Modric to stay longer, but that is contrary to the club long-term goal of wanting generational renewal to be able to compete in every competition. Since joining in 2012, Modric has become an important player in Real Madrid main lineup. Modric has worked with a number of coaches who have managed Real Madrid, and he has always been a player they have relied on over the years. The increasing age factor means that Modric and Real Madrid management have to make a decision regarding his future next season. Many people will miss him, and Modric has become one of Real Madrid living legends.

It seems like Frimpong is on the radar of multiple big teams already. I already knew about Bayern Munich's interest but it looks like both Manchester teams are also going after him. Let's say all of them made an offer then I think his choice would be between Manchester City and Bayern Munich. Why would it be the Red Devils, right? They aren't even qualifying for the Champions League as it seems.  Sad

Leverkusen would make a really huge profit if they sell him. But maybe he would also think of staying one more year while he has a great manager like Xabi Alonso. It wouldn't make me surprised as they are going to play in the Champions League as well.  Smiley
Frimpong was playing at Leverkusen since 2020/2021 season and before Alonso arrived to Leverkusen Frimpong was nothing and there was no big clubs who showing their interest to him but under Alonso Frimpong can develop his skill with very well and now he was being an the key player for Leverkusen besides that as a defender Frimpong too very active to scores goals because during this season in Bundesliga Frimpong can scores 8 goals and 7 assists so these records also causes why some of big clubs want to bought him because it's rare to see a defender who can scores so many goals for his team

Frimpong actually has a contract until 2028 but his release clause makes him have possibilities to leave Leverkusen this summer because into his contract Frimpong has 35 millions release clause and this price is quite cheap compared to his quality so that's why some of Premier League want to active his release clause and bought him and it says Manchester City and Manchester United is the most serious clubs who want him especially Manchester City and why this team is really want him because Guardiola feel Frimpong will be suitable as the replacement of Kyle Walker and in my opinion big possibility this transfer will be happened

I think Chelsea are making the wrong move here. You know, Connor Gallagher and Reece James are both youngsters with huge potential.

If I recall correctly, Connor Gallagher with Crystal Palace did an amazing job and secured them a good position in the Premier League when he was there.

On the other hand, Reece James is one of the top right-backs right now in the world I would say. The problem is that he is very injury-prone. He gets injured very often and cannot make appearances in the game. If they decide to sell him, I would say many teams are going to pay a good amount of price just to get him on their team. He is one for the future.

Same for Connor Gallagher, he is too good to be sold. Ever since the Chelsea owner has changed, the new owner has been making too many mistakes. I think this mistake would cost him as well in the future.

i agree and disagree with you on this, for Connor Gallagher it will be a huge step back and a costly mistake to actually sell him, last summer they had him on the sell list but with what they have seen him done this season it will be a very big call to still want him out except that he doesn't wants to sign a new contract and he go be for free later and they might loss on him. But aside that i think he needs to stay over just any player.

As for Reece James, i think he needs to go. The lad might have a great potential but it is certainly not working for him at Chelsea at the moment and with Chelsea keeping him they definitely can't add another right back to partner Malo Gutso. We have seen in the past with other players who switch clubs and things get right for them, Maybe he could be lucky but seriously its time Chelsea bank on him

They should sell if players like Marcus Rashford ( He's shown no passion while playing for the club lately. ) Can he go take a look at how Luiz Diaz displays for Liverpool? He seems to have forget when to pass, track back, defend and also make two touch with the ball, him hanging on the ball for too long six to seven touches makes it he'll boring.
Rashford has always been a problem, not only is he selfish he has also started not showing seriousness in playing and even finds it difficult to build teamwork. Against Brentford it was very clear that Rashford only wanted to pass to Bruno and vice versa. So who knows what Rashford problems at Man United are becoming increasingly difficult to control. Erik Ten Hag still gives him confidence to this day, PSG is rumored to be planning to sign Rashford and I don't think Manchester United will just let him go.

His contract with Real Madrid will expire in June, 2024. I heard a rumor, Ancelotti offers him to be apart of Real Madrid coaching staff. If Modric decides to retire in the end of this season, he can accept the offer made by Ancelotti. But if Modric still wants to continue his career as a professional player. Modric must leave Real Madrid since there is no contract extension. There are a rumor of the interest from Saudi teams, they will give Modric a huge salary of Modric wants to play in SPL. Now, it depends on what the decision wants to make by Modric.

I don't think the departure of Modric won't give a serious impact. There are already enough top midfielders to replace Modric's role. Camavinga, Tchouameni, Bellingham, and Valverde are some players who have the same position as Modric. And we must realize that Modric is getting rarely to play full time recently. It indicates that Real Madrid no longer too depends on Modric anymore.

Reportedly Chelsea plans to sell two players this summer and those two names are Reece James and Conor Gallagher. It seems that Chelsea is still not satisfied with the current performance of their squad so they want to do this as additional funds to bring in other players in the transfer market later. Actually, I'm quite curious about what kind of players Chelsea want, especially since they spent so much money to bring in several players who were overrated last season.

Apart from that, I think this could be a strategic move for Chelsea where the players do not meet the club's expectations so they have to be sold so as not to burden the club's budget to pay players who are not contributing enough. I think that's quite right, but the problem is if Chelsea brings in the wrong players again then that will be a new problem for this club from London. The talent scout team and club management must work together well because this determines the future of the club and provides bright hopes for the future.
