Real Madrid to hijack Alonso from Liverpool and Bayern
Both Liverpool and Bayern Munich view their ex-player as the number one option to replace their outgoing coaches, Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel. Honorary Bayern president Uli Hoeneß confirmed earlier this week that the Bavarians are in talks with Alonso, but he also hinted at a potential involvement of Real Madrid in the saga.

[]

I have heard a saying since I was younger. "Good things come to those who wait".
I think that is something Alonso is also thinking about. Because we all know he has not spoken out about his future.
He has also not approached any club. The clubs are all interested in him. But can't find there has been any official advancement to sign him.
So there is a very good chance that he actually stays and when Carlo Ancelotti actually leaves Real Madrid, he replaces him.
Actually, that is not a bad idea. The one thing he will have to make sure though is he still brings in a good performance with Leverkusen.
Alonso would definitely be happy to be in Madrid if he had to go there, but there has been no official statement from Alonso himself as to whether he will really leave Leverkusen for a career at another club, rumors of his move will only remain speculation until it officially happens. He emphasized that for now he will focus on Leverkusen.
Media creating too much hype about few things with most chances we will have all official statements after the end of this season because right now all are doing their best for having good end of their season and things stay at the better level Bayer Leverkusen is trying his best for keeping him for one more season, and we have three big clubs are doing their best for secure his services even most chances he will try to stay but in case of having any good offer he can leave current club and can go for the better offer.
Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Real Madrid all are looking for him but most chances if we have better chance then surely we will be having Liverpool or Bayern Munich because both are going to lose their coach after the end of this season.

Joan Laporta's recent statements have caused confusion. Xavi was expected to leave Barca but Laporta said he wanted Xavi to stay. To be honest, I also think that Xavi should stay at Barca, but going back on his decision to leave would have a negative impact. They have put themselves in a deadlock. It's really difficult to be manager at Barca for a long time, if they don't win the championship in a season they immediately want a change of manager. The working environment there is really difficult, even if you are a legend of the club.
If Laporta still wants Xavi to stay in Barcelona, it indicated that Xavi who wants to leave Barcelona. Xavi may think he doesn't succeed in Barcelona, but all people can understand it. Barcelona isn't in their best condition, so Laporta realizes the failure of Barcelona isn't caused by Xavi. With the statement from Laporta, I think there will be a contract extension for Xavi in the near future. Laporta may think it won't be easy to get the replacement of Xavi, so he prefers to keep Xavi for a few season more.

He shouldn't have returned in the first place, but that was done all because Sir Alex Ferguson called him directly. Yeah, Ronaldo gave Manchester United winners against Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham United scoring Hat tricks against these clubs.
I also think Ronaldo shouldn’t have returned to Manchester United, it wasn’t his idea to return as well as he almost  joined Manchester City as Pep Guardiola was already pushing for Ronaldo to sign for him which he almost did but out of the respect Ronaldo has for Sir Alex Ferguson he had to join Manchester United instead and i think he would be regretting his decision to join Manchester United because of all the things he went through there. It would have been a different case if he joined Manchester City as he could have easily won the treble with Guardiola and scored far more goals than he did at United.

For a Legend who has nothing but respect for the club i think he was disrespected far too much by the coach, the fans and some players in the team, they thought he was the problem causing them downfall but where are they now? Barcelona wouldn’t have treated Messi that way if he was to return back. Ronaldo was easily the team’s highest goal scorer despite being one of the oldest in the team if not the oldest but he was the problem.

When you have a player like Ronaldo in your team you just need to make other players work for him and leave him to do what he does best which is scoring goals, you don’t expect a player in his late 30s to still give you what a young player would give you.
I would guess that things would have been different, because Haaland joined as we all know, where are you going to put Ronaldo when you have a monster like Haaland at that team? I do not know if that was the same season or not, I can't remember but I feel like the eventual situation was like that, or maybe they wouldn't get Haaland I don't know, but even City would know that they would have to step away from an aging Ronaldo.

What I really really hoped was Sporting Lisbon, lets be honest Lisbon isn't some amazing team, they do have historical success, but having Ronaldo (even at this age) would be amazing help, both in quality, but also as an example to all the younger players there. That's what I dreamed after he decided to leave United, instead of going where the money was.

Well, that's what I was thinking before I finished reading your post. When I saw the big title, I immediately thought, isn't Real Madrid officially extending Ancelotti's contract, then why are they involved in the hunt for Xabi Alonso? After I finished reading, then I understood what was meant. Xabi Alonso has not yet said a word about his future with Leverkusen or the future of his coaching career, and it is possible that what you say will happen. The scenario is that he will prefer to stay at Leverkusen and will choose Real Madrid as the team he will work with.

It is nothing new for Real Madrid to appoint former players as their coaches. Previously there was Zidane who was a coach with the status of a former player, and in Zidane's hands they made a record by becoming champions 3 times in a row in the Champions League. I'm still enjoying the current rumors, because nothing has been confirmed for certain. Xabi tries to focus on completing his duties with Leverkusen before making a decision.
Real Madrid is known for appointing their former players as managers and one of them was very successful the last time he got that opportunity and that person happens to be Zinedine Zidane. However, Real Madrid's current manager is doing exceptionally well at the club and less than three months ago, they extended the his contract at the club till the summer of 2027 and that's why I don't think the club will want to try signing Xabi Alonso in the summer.
Xabi Alonso have performed greatly well since he became the manager of Bayer Leverkusen despite having little managerial experience and that has drawn the attention of many top clubs who now wants to get his services on permanent basis. I think Real Madrid might consider to sign him in the future but definitely not now if you ask me because the club's current manager isn't underperforming.

That dope bor I think it will be very well decided who's should be taken by Joan Laporta's. Xavi is one of the greatest thinkers in world football, and the way he thinks and the way he uses tactics are just world class.

Moreover if we look at the current status of FC Barcelona after the announcement of Xavi's retirement, it is much, much better than before the announcement. And Xavi needed time, he is the best coach, he wanted to see all the problems deeply, so some of the matches were mishandled. But now he organized the team and built up tactics in the team by giving a proper chemistry. So i hope possible he could win the Uefa Champions league title if he similarly emphasized the team's strong tactics strictly.

I'm not really sure about this information because what we see is that he is quite fit and running around the field when his club managed to beat the opponent and that means his health is still quite fit. One thing I think is that he wants to try something new even though he has to stop for a while after next season and there are several news sources that I read and he plans to take charge of another club as a career move.

Let's just say that the I said is wrong because now it's hard to find accurate information and maybe we can see after the season ends. But if the reason is physical fitness I'm sure that's not the only reason he wants to leave Liverpool after this season ends and you can see during the Liverpool match how he is on the sidelines.

It's all good, no harm done here. And if you ask me I am quite sure that Klopp will return even though he left it up for public speculation. But nobody can really imagine that he would retreat and not return. Rummenigge from Bayern Munich said that football is like a heavy drug and Klopp is a junky, and there is no way that this junky can live the rest of his life without being a football coach. I think there is some truth to that! Wink

I don't know where you are gathering your information or whether you take some time to have a closer look at what exactly has been said and what has been proven to be wrong.

Klopp gave quite a long interview explaining his exact reasons as to why he is leaving the club before his contract will expire and what his plan for the next 12 months will be. He said he is healthy and it has nothing to do with his physical condition, but he also said that he feels weak and he feels the need for a break. Hence, he guaranteed that he will definitely not train a new club in the upcoming season. He added that he doesn't know his exact future plans because he wants to take time during that break to make up his mind, but he said there is no chance to see him on the coaching bench in the season 24/25.

I am of the opinion that a special thread be dedicated to Xavi Alonso  Grin
As funny as this might sound, it is important to note and acknowledge that Xavi Alonso has actually done extraordinary well this season. If many expected this to happen I am not among those many. I am among the few that thought that the German Bundesliga season will end as usual. But Xavi Alonso took many people by surprise and even up to the European competitions, this guy is still doing great. I am not surprised that many clubs are interested in his services because he has proven himself to be a special and an extraordinary new talent in the coaching industry. In as much as both Liverpool and Bayern Munich and even the Real Madrid had once have him as their players, I would definitely want Xavi Alonso to come to England to compete with Guardiola and as such I will have Etche opportunity to watch him every weekend.

Lol, this is funny, but frankly, if Xabi Alonso deserves a thrown of his own, I think Mbappe should have had one by now for a very long time! Cheesy If Mbappe had his own thread here, we would probably soon be looking at at least 200 pages of posts...

But yes jokes aside, he is an interesting personality without a doubt, but there should be caution that we don't exaggerate. I mean it is not impossible that he goes to another club and gets fired within the six months. If he goes to Liverpool or Bayern and the teams don't perform, which is a possibility, the big adventure could be over faster than anyone thought it would.

According to some rumours, Arsenal are negotiating Viktor Gyökeres.

The player has a very high value but if they manage to get the OK he can be released with a release clause worth 100 million euros, an amount of money certainly within the reach of many English clubs.

The Swedish players is doing a phenomenal season in Portugal.
Fun facto from Championship to Portugal and probably back to Engliand in 13 months spawn.
Arsenal so far have a capable attacking line in the Premier League, especially from the wing-forward position, but we must admit that they still need a central striker who can be the difference in each of their games, even if Arsenal have Niketiah and Gabriel Jesus but they have both not been able to meet the expectations expected by Arteta, in the last two seasons Arsenal continue to be linked with several players striker positions such as Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen, but in fact there is currently no approach they have made to bring the striker to the Emirates Stadium.

Looking at the performance and quality possessed by Viktor Gyokeres so far, of course he can be the right choice for Arsenal next season to spearhead breaking into the opponent's goal, but the problem now is the release clause that reaches 102 million euros, of course Arsenal will think 5 times about signing him, because after all, Arsenal so far is not a team that is willing to spend a lot of money just for the sake of players who shine in only the last 3 seasons,  But despite it all, perhaps Arteta will make an exception to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting next season although I'm a bit pessimistic if that will happen Smiley.

It isn't a bad idea at all and I wasn't thinking about that option, but indeed if Xabi Alonso is patient and waits for Ancelotti to finish his contract, this would certainly be a realistic scenario since he then has a proven track record and experience on a very high level with a good club. He would have learnt by then how to form teams and how to maintain the performance level not only for a single season, but for a longer period of time.

However, when Bayern Munich and Liverpool are knocking on your door and you have relationships with both of these absolute top clubs, you also know that these days might be closed once you reject the offers and stay at Leverkusen.

This is not an easy decision for Alonso, but whatever he will go for, I could understand it. Taking over a perfect Liverpool from Jurgen Klopp or a highly motivated Bayern Munich team that is willing to invest big money into the squad, both options are a dream for any coach who is still a newcomer to the big scene.

I don't know what kind of chemistry can emerge between Ten Hag and the players if all we've seen is conflict and degradation of even good players. Even those with whom Ten Hag had an excellent relationship deteriorated, suppose in the case of Casemiro this can be attributed to age-related changes, in the case of Rashford it is difficult to come up with any excuses.
As for competition from other clubs, this is a general problem of the Premier League - there are too many strong clubs and even if you are good, you may end up a loser at the end of the season.

Rashford according to what his mother said lost a close family friend and it's been difficult for him to process since this friend has been close buddies from way back. Asides that he has also been seen clubing and all that stuff, no matter what happens, player's should find ways to maintain balance, this has got nothing to do with Erik Ten Hag.

Do you even watch Casemiro? He has reduced strength lately, you watch him run to and fro and he is already tired panting and breathing heavily. I double doubt you do, because if you do you won criticize Erik Ten Hag. In the case of Andrea Onana, I see you all have nothing more to say, is he not the second goalkeeper right now innthr Premier League with the highest clean sheets? Lol.

The defense has seen issues since Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw got Injured, they're the major driving force for Erik Ten Hag because he builds from the back. You can go ahead saying this and that but you have to know that Erik Ten Hag is not the problem.
So what's with Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Diego Dalot? Aren't they working under Erik Ten Hag? I wonder how most of you watch football. Good God!

Good teams will bring home favorable results and they won't be pressing in for anymore results. Elite clubs will never stop doing their best but achieving great results this season. They will continue to strive harder because they believe there's something for them, more like winning and lifting titles. The English Premier League comes with huge surprise, everyone knows how to handled their top duty.

The losing end doesn't belong to club that are serious and keen on winning matches with ease efforts. Manchester United have been up and running this season, they're allocated to be in impressive form. Manchester United coach, Erik Ten Hag wants the best for the club, he doesn't relent but do his duty as headcoach and craves for outstanding games outcomes. Erik Ten Hag is one of these coaches that doesn't support favoritism, he always aims at the best players and they ought to be mannered because he's very strict and never backing down from forwarding his rules towards his players.

It seems that Carlo Ancelotti has prepared for this. Therefore Carlo Ancelotti did not recruit in the winter market last before and chose to recruit at the end of this season when the summer market opened, even though if Real Madrid recruited players in the transfer market in January before. Real Madrid could face match the Champions League has calmed down a bit because its strength has increased, so Real Madrid's performance can be more optimal, but I think Carlo Ancelotti doesn't recruit players because he believes in the players he has and remains strong even though he doesn't add to the squad he needs.

It would be a good thing if Real Madrid started thinking about the players they would buy to improve their performance next season, recruiting Alexander Arnold is a good choice, he is a defender with extraordinary talent, he can create assists to help attackers create goals if he is at the club Big like Real Madrid is a big advantage for him because he might taste the Champions League trophy with Real Madrid.

Liverpool is actually also a big club but after Jurgen Kloop left this season we don't know Liverpool's performance next season so Alexander Arnold's future is still a question mark, but at least he can try to join another big club in the European league so that his development increases and doesn't continue to be there in the comfort zone.
It's a player's decision if he wants to stay in a club or leave, also it depends on his contract signed with the team as well as the teams decision to either keep him or let him go. In PSG, Mbappe is one key man that they don't want to give off yet. Even though his contract is set to expire by summer, they still know he's advantageous and would want to keep him. For Mbappe, his stay in the team beyond and after the expiration of the contract seems to be dependent on his intentions as well as the teams performance in the long run.

Good thing for him that Madrid may not really be interested in him yet until summer so he's got to be a bit patient till then, then maybe, he'd be willing to join the Spanish side. Even though Liverpool were questing for him as well, i didn't think they were set to afford that amount for him during the January transfer window. Let's just anticipate summer break whilst watching his movement decision unfold. Real Madrid has even been performing at their best without a stable striker in the team, then we think of how much more they'd perform if they eventually get a striker for themselves. Left for me, they're doing just fine without a striker. They've in the team a lot of youngsters that are doing excellent in their general balling ability.

But still they just have to have for themselves a striker that'd be majored on that role of goal scoring and they won't have to be using a false forward in their games. Well before now, Mbappe was a prospect but Ancelloti has said for now he won't be making any change to his squad and he's comfortable with them. I believe they have what it takes to get the species of forward they want in the team and the team's commitment and bond would really boost their results. The same applies to Alphonso Davies. The both young players would be a good addition to the Spanish giants but we just have to wait on the coach. Since he's said summer will be his time for transfers, then let's anticipate these moves and watch how well and better it improves the team's effectiveness.

It cannot be denied that indeed until now the Manchester United players are one of the clubs that has a big name and not only now because it has happened from several previous seasons but in the end we also cannot eliminate the fact that Manchester United is also one of the buriers of the performance of star players because when they are at Manchester United with the conditions that occur in Internal, the talent that should be well honed loses momentum and ends in failure.

We can see some players who are examples such as Casemiro or even Cristiano who have not been able to be maximized properly or some young players such as Van De Beek whose performance was destroyed and not even heard of until now as well as some wonderkids who were initially predicted to be great players such as Sancho, Greenwood (although his popularity declined due to his own actions) and a series of other names that failed at Manchester United because there are still a lot of talents buried when wearing Manchester United uniforms.
Ten Hag always does it his way even the ones he doesn't like but indeed at this time as long as it is still positive it doesn't really matter, it's just that if in the end the inconsistency returns like at the start of the season it means there are problems that are still very risky and cannot be resolved by Manchester United.
When I saw Ronaldo coming back to Manchester United though I had chills but at a point I was like why?? Will he still be effective?. It proved his return wasn’t met well by the coach Ten Hag because of the negative imapct it had in the club. The club had some needs and when Ronaldo came back they obviously forgot what they needed and made sure football is played all around Ronaldo and that reAl brought in a sense of pride for the Balon D’Or winner.

Erik Ten Hag took over and showed he’s in charge and that was what was needed at that time. The iron hands of the boss was what the team needed. Though we can’t blame Ronaldo for the bad performance of the team as he proved to be helpful on so many occasions even before the arrival of Ten Hag. His interview was the line drawer for him and that made Hag lose hope and every confidence and trust in him and if you look at the interview and what’s going on now, then you’ll see some sort of truth in what he spoke about then.

Well though the board to an extent were wrong in bringing him back and trying to build the team around him rather they would have brought him back amd make him come in from the bench that way it would have been more honorable and get match winning victory than the humiliation he was put through. Ronaldo is still an integral part of the club’s success and history and he’s still loyal to the cluv and vice versa though things went wrong but I think it could have been better if a different approach was followed.
Actually I don't expect anything in this regard because Cristiano is just one of the examples I gave and of course we are not really suitable to discuss it now because the problem has been resolved long enough and does not need to be brought up again but the focus in this case is the level of selfishness of Ten Hag who seeks to make the players do what he wants to do seems to be reduced because after all, even if it is true that in the end the coach provides a condition where they are the ones who make decisions and everything must act according to the coach's direction but on the other hand the coach also certainly has to check input from the players so that what is done is in line with the wishes of the coach and the players themselves but what is being done at this time seems like Ten Hag's provisions are absolute and when the players do not comply with what they want to do, it becomes a condition where they seem to be antagonized and even the feud continues.

Now we see Sancho, who is not even glimpsed even though he has not been in the squad for a long time and is not even on the Bench, which proves that the situation carried out by Ten Hag is quite authoritarian and it is clear that this is detrimental in the end because Sancho's performance and condition, which actually can still be played, are just left alone because of the selfishness of a coach who makes Sancho's talent wasted.

Oliver Giroud didn't even play much these days for Milan. He was more a substitute and when he did play, although he still has those his nice touches on the ball, he still managed to scare the defense and goalie with his shot that sometimes produce the needed goal.

Saudi Arabia will be a good choice for him for the money, unless he intends coming to America to play in same league as Messi. He has really had an impressive career and if he intends to play further, there's no telling he couldn't but if I were him, I would be chasing a dream of being coach of a league side one day, perhaps after retirement just like Xabi Alonso, Xavi, Zidane, Arteta...
Saudi Arabia has announced they won't bring expensive European players in the next season, so don't expect Giroud will play on there. He's either going to MLS or unpopular leagues.

Nah, not every great players can become great coaches too, if they're force themselves, it will ended up like Lampard, Rooney and Gerrard.

Giroud can retire and use his money to start a business.
I haven't heard that the Arab League won't bring in expensive players from Europe, but if that's true maybe they have a reason why they're stopping next season. On the other hand, I also still hear some rumors about big players who are said to be interested in one of the Arab League teams, and if that's true isn't this something contradictory? Who knows.
Olivier Giroud still has good abilities even though he is now 37 years old, but in terms of touch he is still good. Even this season alone, he scored 12 goals and also 8 assists from the 26 matches he played, those are not too bad statistics. I haven't heard him say anything about his future with AC Milan, so we'll see.
Milan is one of the popular clubs that should think more about retaining young players than players who are older and are on the verge of losing their productivity again.
Giroud may currently still have a few good contributions, but if he is retained in the long term, Milan will certainly suffer losses from selling players who are too old and it would make more sense to release Giroud to offer to MLS or Saudi Arabian clubs.
I'm not sure if the Saudi Pro League has really limited spending large amounts of money because it's impossible that it will stop here the Saudi Pro League's struggle to bring in popular players from Europe to increase the popularity of the Saudi Pro League.
In my opinion, it would be more suitable if Giroud would join a Saudi Arabian club rather than MLS.
